The Fallout 76 The Mistress of Mystery side quest is the final quest in the Order of Mysteries faction quest-line; currently the only faction quest-line which exists independent of the game’s main story quest-line. You start The Mistress of Mystery after completing the Seeker of Mysteries side quest.
How to Complete the Fallout 76 The Mistress of Mysteries Side Quest
After you complete Seeker of Mysteries, return to the Riverside Manor and access Cryptos using your new login. Choose the “Administrative Actions,” option, then “Authorise Access,” and finally; “Authorise Access – Headmistress’ Office,” selecting yourself on the personnel list to grant access; this will open a new area within the manor which has until now been inaccessible. Head over to the office entrance and use the scanner to unlock the door.
Inside the office, use the terminal and read the first entry to get the next quest objective. You now need to find clues for a meeting place, and this will require you to check several terminals throughout the manner. Reading the first entry of each “Personal Journal,” will eventually reveal the location. This site has no specific location name, but lies to the northeast of Top of the World, in the Savage Divide.
When you arrive at the site, search the bodies to retrieve three key items; Shannon Rivers’ Recording, Headmistress Shannon Rivers’ Login, and the Eye of Ra. Once you have all these, return to Riverside Manor. Armed with the new login, you may access Cryptos as Shannon Rivers and authorise your own promotion to the rank of Mistress of Mystery. Once you exit the terminal, the quest will complete. You will acquire a final holotape; the “Order of Mysteries – Rank: Mistress” Holotape, and also receive a few random ammo and aid items. The real reward, however, is the Eye of Ra. This powerful item can only be equipped while you are wearing your Garb of Mysteries and provides significant boosts to the effectiveness of the other Order of Mysteries items.
