FIFA 19 Carniball Players: 14 Cards Revealed Including Neymar, Paulo Dybala For Ultimate Team Event

As of Friday, we’re getting our first look at the FIFA 19 Carniball players. This will be the newest FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) in-game event and brings 14 player cards to packs. In addition, there are new objectives and daily SBCs. All of that makes for an exciting new event for gamers to participate in with FUT. Here are more details on what all is available in the game starting Friday (Mar. 8).

FIFA 19 Carniball Players: FUT cards include Neymar, Paulo Dybala

The new FIFA Carniball Ultimate Team event will feature a total of 26 different FIFA 19 player cards throughout. Players correspond with one of eight specific carnival countries. So gamers will see different players bringing it for parts of Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United States.

The initial FIFA 19 Carniball Ultimate Team lineup is stacked with 14 players including top stars such as Neymar Jr., Franck Ribery, and Paulo Dybala. Neymar was featured as part of the recent FUT 19 Player Days promotion which re-released top in-form player cards. In Carniball, he brings the highest-rated card of all players with a 96, while Dybala boasts a 92. Four other players have 91-rated cards, making for some great FUT cards to pick up. It doesn’t stop with the 14 players in packs, either as there will be more players to achieve.

While Neymar leads the way with that sweet 96, this entire group of talent is great so far. Here’s the complete list of players with new ratings and the corresponding countries/teams they represent (via Dexerto):

  • GK: Hugo Lloris 91 (France / Tottenham Hotspur)
  • CF: Dries Mertens 91 (Belgium / SSC Napoli)
  • CB: Toby Alderweireld 90 (Belgium / Tottenham Hotspur)
  • LM: Franck Ribéry 89 (France / Bayern München)
  • CB: Leonardo Bonucci 89 (Italy / Juventus)
  • CF: Thomas Müller 89 (Germany / Bayern München)
  • ST3: Gabriel Jesus 88 (Brazil / Manchester City)
  • ST4: Iñaki Williams 88 (Spain / Athletic Club de Bilbao)

So far it’s a relatively even distribution of talent amongst the regions. Most of the countries received two representatives among Carniball FUT player cards. The United States gains one representative out of the 14 with Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.

FIFA 19 Carniball players: Objectives, SBCs, & packs deals

In addition to those 14 players, gamers will have four new Prime ICON Moments player cards to go after in packs. There are weekly objectives which will help achieve four different Carniball players. In addition, there are daily Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) to complete. The first of these brings a 92-rated Socrates card along with 87-rated Hulk!

Keep an eye on the Ultimate Team screens in FIFA 19, as they will have “Happy Hour Pack Offers” beginning Friday (Mar. 8). These will be special deals which are either “Lightning round” deals or limited by the number of packs that one can purchase. A recent deal started at 8 p.m. UK time (3 p.m. Eastern Time) and features 125K Ultimate packs for just one hour. Other deals include Rare Player Packs and Prime Gold Players.
