FIFA 19 Finesse Shots Being Addressed In Next Game Patch

A source of frustration for FIFA gamers in the latest installment of the game is FIFA 19 finesse shots. These particular shots have become extremely commonplace as an exploit for competitive players out on the pitch. However, there is some good news, as a recent series of tweets indicates EA is working to resolve the problem in the next game patch.

EA Global Manager comments on FIFA 19 finesse shots

A previous FIFA 19 patch addressed “unrealistic kicks” back in late October. However, the finesse shots issue still persists. Luckily, that may soon be repaired, based on EA comments. That could be good news for gamers who have dealt with the exploit in competitive games.

On Saturday, EA Sports FIFA community manager Corey Andreas posted a tweet in which he commented about the finesse shot. Andreas said with regards to the exploit, “this will be fixed and addressed in the next patch.” He also said there will be more information soon about the patch update.

As far as the official date for the next FIFA 19 patch, that is unknown. However, Comic Book reports that it will arrive before the end of this month. In addition to the finesse shot fix, it’s also going to address fixture scheduling issues for career mode, among other aspects of the game.

The major issue with FIFA 19 finesse shots is how gamers are able to use players from far out to nail shots these players wouldn’t normally make. It ends up making for a bad experience for those gamers who are trying to win competitive games without them. It also hinders the realistic aspect of the game and its players.

That said, it’s going to be interesting to see if this fix brings an overhaul to the game that messes up other aspects of gameplay. Gamers will ultimately decide once the new patch is available sometime this month.
