FIFA 19 FUT Champions Cup Grand Final Results: F2Tekkz Dethroned As MSdossary Wins April Title
Donovan “F2Tekkz” Hunt had captured an impressive streak of FUT Championships recently. His winning ways would come to an end on Sunday (Apr. 7) as Rogue MSdossary ultimately emerged as FIFA 19 FUT Champions Cup winner for the month of April. That adds another to his list of impressive wins as well. However, there’s still more work to be done in the coming weeks.
FIFA 19 FUT Champions Cup Results: MSdossary defeats F2Tekkz to reach final
The FUT Champions Cup April would bring a fantastic matchup for the Xbox console between the No. 1 and No. 2 gamers on the platform. It also featured a three-time FUT Champions Cup winner. However, the top overall gamer, F2Tekkz, was unable to keep his winning streak going. Instead, MSdossary captured the Xbox finals to head to the grand finale. He won it six goals to four over two legs as two of the best in FIFA Ultimate Team faced off. It also put MSdossary go up 3-2 this season in terms of head-to-head FIFA Ultimate Team competitions with F2Tekkz.
On the other side of the bracket, Maestro99_ would emerge as PlayStation finals champion. That set up the cross-console final in which MSdossary would capture the trophy, prize money, and points for his Global Series ranking.
FIFA 19 FUT Champions Cup April winner is MSdossary
With the win, MSdossary picked up $50,000 in prize money along with the trophy (shown below). Of the six FUT Champions Cup, F2Tekkz captured the first, fourth, and fifth editions. MSdossary captured the second and sixth championship trophies, with DullenDike winning the third.
The FUT Champions Cup April winner will also receive 1,500 points added to his total. Heading into the tournament, F2Tekkz held the No. 1 spot for their console with 10,745 points. Rogue Msdossary was second with 5,344 points.
That makes for the final FUT Champions Cup of the season too. Next up on the calendar of FIFA 19 Global Series events will be the FIFA 19 eNations Cup starting next week. The Global Series Playoffs arrive in June with the FIFA eWorld Cup on the way for July and August. Will MSdossary be amongst the big winners in these future events?
