FIFA 19 Player Ratings Revealed Via Leaked Top 6 Premier League Teams

EA Sports recently announced their player ratings for NHL 19 giving way to fan and player debates around the league. Now, EA’s FIFA 19 player ratings for their top six English Premier League teams have been revealed via an early leak. This may provide gamers with an early idea of which teams they may want to start using when the new game arrives.

It’s no surprise who the top team is, though. Per DBLTap’s report, the reigning Premier League Champions Manchester City are the top overall team in the new game. Among the top player ratings from their team are Kevin De Bruyne (91), David Silva (89), and striker Sergio Aguero (89). Liverpool checks in next with their frontline of Mohamed Salah (88), Roberto Firmino (86), and Sadio Mane (85) atop their best-rated players. Rounding out the rest of the six in order are Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal.

Out of the six teams revealed, three players were awarded a 91 rating in the new game. Kevin De Bruyne, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, and Manchester City goalie David de Gea each are rated that high. Four players including Tottenham striker Harry Kane received an 89 player rating for the new FIFA 19 title with four more players rated at 88.

Top FIFA 19 Players Ratings (as of Aug. 29)

  1. Kevin De Bruyne 91
  2. Eden Hazard 91
  3. David de Gear 91
  4. David Silva 89
  5. Sergio Aguero 89

  7. Thibaut Courtois 89
  8. Paul Pogba 88
  9. Christian Eriksen 88
  10. Hugo Lloris 88

For now, it gives a very early look at some of the top tier players, but more EA Sports FIFA 19 player ratings will be revealed in the coming weeks. Some of the game’s biggest stars have yet to receive ratings. For comparison’s sake, last year’s edition of the game had Hazard at No. 8 in their top 10 player ratings. However, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, and Manuel Neuer were amongst players rated for the game. Ronaldo had the game’s top overall rating at 94, with Messi just behind him at 93 and Neymar at 92.

Metro Gaming’s Daniel Mackrell speculated that the ratings will be revealed within the first two weeks of September via a countdown. Ultimately, players will find out the top 10 players which might include Hazard somewhere on that list again. However, two other players share his rating so it should be interesting to see where each of these stars ranks.

There will be high expectations for the new game. Last year’s title received high marks from various game review sites. Polygon and TrustedReviews gave the game a 9 out of 10, while IGN awarded it an 8.1 out of 10 overall. FIFA 19 is slated to arrive on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox One (and 360), Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs on September 28, 2018.
