FIFA 19 Team of the Season Voting Begins With Over 100 Nominees to Choose From
Very soon, EA Sports will reveal the official FIFA 19 Team of the Season. Before that can happen, gamers need to vote for which players they believe are most deserving. There are plenty of nominees to choose from too, although some popular favorites may win the votes. Here are the latest details on FIFA TOTS 2019 and how to vote.
FIFA Team of the Season: Which Players are Nominees?
There have been all sorts of FIFA Ultimate Team rosters released into the popular football game. They’ve included a Team of the Year, Team of the Knockout Stage, and future stars. There’s also Team of the Week, which has been a weekly fixture in FIFA 19. Now there will be the Team of the Season too.
There are over 100 nominees for the 2019 FIFA Team of the Season. They’ll consist of players that never made it onto any of the FIFA 19 Team of the Week squads. So that means gamers won’t see popular players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr., Lionel Messi, or Kylian Mbappe. Those are just four players who made it onto TOTW and there have been 33 TOTWs!
So which players are the gamers calling for so far? Some of the names already popping up on EA FIFA’s tweet include Callum McGregor, Luka Milivojevic, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and striker Sebastien Haller. Don’t be surprised to see a few or all of these players appear when the final TOTS roster of 23 players is revealed.
How to see & vote for FIFA 19 TOTS nominees
So how do you vote for this brand new Team of the Season? It’s as simple as going online to either the Futhead.com or FUTWiz.com websites. Both sites will allow gamers to select from the available nominees.
There are requirements for the vote, though. Voters need to pick a total of 23 players from those available. That has to include at least six midfielders, six defenders, three forwards, and at least two goalkeepers. In addition, gamers can’t vote for more than five players from the same league.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the vote plays out. Some gamers, leagues, and teams are already campaigning online including the Bundesliga English Twitter.
