FIFA 20 La Liga TOTSSF Revealed: Messia, Benzema Among Star Players
EA is honoring the accomplishments of players across various international leagues so far this season. On Friday, May 8, they revealed the new FIFA 20 La Liga TOTSSF which includes international superstar Lionel Messi, along with Karim Benzema, Antoine Greizmann, and Sergio Ramos, among others. Let’s dive in and check out who was selected for this La Liga Team of the Season, so far.
Lionel Messi leads FIFA 20 La Liga TOTSSF Starting XI players
It’s no surprise to see one of the GOATs of international football back as Lionel Messi returns with a new 99 overall card. Messi continues to shine each and every season. He leads the way for the overall ratings on FIFA 20 La Liga TOTSSF starting XI.
Messi already had a 99 card for FIFA’s Team of the Year, but this new card gives him Shooting and Pace upgrades. The Barcelona rightwing’s new card features 99 for Shooting, Passing, and Dribbling along with 98 Pace and 80 Physical ratings.
Nobody is rated at 98, leaving a few spots between Messi and the next three players. Luis Suarez, Karim Benzema, and Varane each get 97 overall cards. Other players include goalie Jan Oblak along with LW Antoine Griezmann and CB Sergio Ramos amongst 96 OVRs.
It’s worth noting that Real Madrid players are the most prevalent on the La Liga TOTSSF Starting XI. There’s a total of five with Benzema, Sergio Ramos, Carvajal, Toni Kroos, and Raphael Varane. FC Barcelona has four players including Messi, Suarez, Frankie de Jong, and Griezmann.
In terms of overlap from the FIFA 19 Team of the Season, we see Messi, Suarez, Benzema, and Oblak are all back for this year’s TOTSSF. That means seven of the players above are brand new entries on the Starting XI so congratulations are in order.
La Liga Substitute players
The FIFA 20 La Liga TOTSSF has a total of 20 players. Beyond the Starting XI there are also nine substitutes or reserves. Leading the way for this group is yet another Barcelona representative. Goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen gets a 95 overall card which could give many FUT rosters their starting goalie, unless they somehow get Oblak above.

These new FIFA 20 La Liga TOTSSF player cards are available through FUT packs in the Ultimate Team mode. In addition, gamers can bid on or “buy now” if they see specific player items they want in the Transfer Market.
We’d expect Messi and several of the other top-tier cards above will be selling for high prices, so shop wisely to get the best deal if you really need to spend!
