FIFA 21 Team of the Week 7 Players Revealed Including Lionel Messi, Bruno Fernandes

A solid mix of past, present, and future makes up the FIFA 21 Team of the Week 7 players. EA officially revealed their latest TOTW with that tagline on Twitter, and it’s evidenced by all-time great Lionel Messi leading the way. He’s joined by upgraded Ultimate Team items for many others including Bruno Fernandes, Thiago Silva, and more. Here’s a rundown of the latest FIFA 21 TOTW 7 release.

Messi, Fernandes headline FIFA 21 Team of the Week 7

Former cover star Lionel Messi of Barcelona gets the top-rated card in FIFA 21 Team of the Week 7 with a 94 overall rating. His upgraded item also features 96 Dribbling, 94 Shooting, 93 Passing, and 86 Pace attributes to give FUT squads a boost. Of note, he gets a position change to CF for this card, allowing gamers to use him as midfielder or striker, as they decide.

Along with Messi is an 89 OVR card for Bruno Fernandes. The Manchester United CAM gets 90 Passing, 88 Dribbling, 87 Shooting, 79 Pace, and 77 Physical attributes. Thiago Silva checks in with an 86 OVR item that has 87 Defense and 79 Physical ratings. That’s good news for those who obtained his OTW item.

FUT items arrive after EA TOTW leak

Gamers can find the new TOTW 7 player items randomly in select FUT packs starting at 6 p.m. UK time. In addition, cards will go onto the Transfer Market, with varying prices. As one might expect, Lionel Messi is rather expensive.

Based on FUTBIN’s current estimates, Messi is going for a cool 2.4 million Coins on PlayStation, while Fernandes is getting over 600,000 Coins on listings. Also up there in price is are new 84 OVR Marcos Llorente item at near 300,000 Coins and Hirving Lozano nearing 200,000 Coins.

The new TOTW 7 player reveal comes after a leak happened involving FUT items. EA accidentally revealed 11 of the above players as they popped up in Ultimate Team Weekend League player pick packs. Players included Silva, Lozano, and Fernandes, but not Messi.
