The Final Black Ops Cold War Zombies Map Launches This Week

Forsaken – the final round-based map for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies mode – will be launching later this week, on the 7th of October. Included alongside a range of additional content in Season 6, Forsaken will offer players the conclusion to the current chapter of the Dark Aether storyline…

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 6 – Forsaken

The last round-based Zombies map in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War brings players to the secret bastion of the Omega Group. Found in the U.S.S.R., this testing site is the latest location to experience an outpouring of extra-dimensional undead. The new map, “Forsaken,” features plenty of new content alongside the location itself, of course. These include a new Perk, two new Support Weapons, a new Wonder Weapon, and more.

The new Perk coming in Forsaken is PhD Slider, which will be the tenth and last Perk to come to the game. The Perk grants players the ability to trigger explosions whenever they slide into enemies! When it comes to weaponry, the standout feature is the Chrysalax, a dramatic-looking new Wonder Weapon. This two-handed axe features its own quest in Forsaken which will allow players to get their hands on it. However, it can also be won by completing Trials, or even merely found in the Mystery Box.

Two additional weapons are also coming to Zombies in Season 6, both as new Support Weapons. The first is the Hand Cannon, the highly powerful handgun which is already usable in Multiplayer. The other is the ARC-XD, short for “Aether Remote-Controlled Explosive Device”. This explosive functions as a decoy, drawing enemies towards its location before it begins releasing a lethal pulse to eliminate nearby zombies.

Finally, as an added note, the Onslaught mode will also be getting some new content in Season 6. Namely, the new Deprogram map, also launching at the start of the season, will be coming to the Onslaught rotation. It will feature its own limited-time mode – Onslaught Elite. In this mode, every surge will spawn a single Elite enemy, making the mode much more dangerous.
