Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.35 Release Date, Details Announced for Heaven-on-High

Square Enix has revealed the Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.35 release date for sooner than you might think. The latest update for the popular MMORPG will be arriving in just a couple of weeks on July 3rd, 2018. Alongside this latest patch in the FFXIV 4.3 series, comes a few notable content additions. The first of these is the latest quests in the Hildibrand series.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.35 will extend the Hildibrand storyline with new quests for fans of the character and his wacky adventures to take on. In addition to the new Hildibrand quests, there is a new major dungeon for players to tackle. This isn’t your ordinary instanced four-player dungeon, though, as it is the latest “deep dungeon.”

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.35 Heaven-on-High

Heaven-on-High, or HoH, will be joining the ranks of Palace of the Dead as the next deep dungeon for players to dive into and spend dozens of hours in. Heaven-on-High will feature 100 levels for players to explore and complete when the Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.35 drops, much like PotD did at its launch. Each floor of HoH will be procedurally generated, giving you a slightly unique experience even if you’ve done it a million times before.

All players will start at level one and have to defeat enemies in order to discover the path to the next floor. This routine will continue all the way to floor 100, presumably with bosses occasionally along the way. We have no further details regarding HoH andĀ Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.35, so it isn’t certain if this deep dungeon will feature the same separate leveling system as PotD.

While we wait for Heaven-on-High to arrive, we highly recommend you check out our recent exclusive interview with FFXIV Producer Naoki Yoshida or Yoshi-P. In it, we dive deep into the upcoming Monster Hunter collaboration, if Ishgard housing will ever happen, and if the Summoner and Scholar could get new pets.
