There is now a Final Fantasy XIV crossover event available in Final Fantasy XV. Players can enjoy a new special event in-game that is focused on its more MMO-centric fellow Final Fantasy game. The crossover event comes with a new update that brings more content to players. The new content includes stuff like new outfits, a new quest, and more for players to take on.
The Final Fantasy XIV crossover event centers around a new quest called Adventurer from Another World. In it, protagonist Noctis runs into a Miqote character named Y’jhimei. The Miqote are a unique race of cat-like people from the MMO Final Fantasy XIV. Together with her, Noctis goes on a journey that takes them to Perpetouss Keep.
Final Fantasy XIV Crossover Event Details
If you don’t wish to be spoiled on the new boss that is included in the Final Fantasy XIV crossover event, turn back now. The Adventurer from Another World quest culminates in an epic battle against Garuda. Though Garuda has been featured in several previous Final Fantasy games, this one seems to take inspiration from FFXIV. Players can enjoy this special boss battle and get rewards, too.
Completing the Final Fantasy XIV crossover event quest will unlock rewards in Final Fantasy XV. Players will get the special Final Fantasy XIV-themed outfits for the four main characters upon completion. You can see the outfits for yourself in the above screenshot. As of right now, it is currently unknown if the Final Fantasy XIV crossover event will cross over to FFXIV as well. It remains to be seen if someone like Noctis will make their way to the MMO for a unique quest and rewards. If one is announced, be sure to stay tuned here.
