Epic Games is finally releasing another big Fortnite live event! This will be the first time since Chapter 2, Season 8 players will be able to witness such an event. As we all remember, the Season 8 event brought massive changes to the game, including a new map. It was one of the biggest events in Fortnite history as it resulted in the entire island flipping.
The upcoming event will be the first Fortnite live event in Chapter 3. So far, there have been a couple of leaks about it and many rumors. With the season ending in less than two weeks, Epic Games has released some hints about what’s coming next. Let’s check it out!
The upcoming Fortnite live event is bringing memories from Chapter 1
At some point during the upcoming Fortnite live event, Epic Games will bring back the Mecha. Players remember this creature from the Season 9 live event, back in 2019. Mecha was built by Singularity at Pressure Plant and it was used in the fight against the Polar Peak monster. Even though it lost its arm during the battle, Mecha ended up victorious, saving the island and flying off into space.
When Chapter 2 was released, players noticed some parts of Mecha in the ocean surrounding the island. Now, the robot is being reconstructed again and it will play a huge role in the upcoming Fortnite live event. According to leaks, players will be able to control Mecha during the event. As we saw in the Season 9 live event, the robot is equipped with a jetpack and it also has a lot of rockets at its disposal.
Many players believe that Singularity and The Paradigm are the same person. Considering that Singularity is related to Mecha and that The Paradigm is a huge part of the Chapter 3 storyline, this theory may end up being true.
The release date
The current Fortnite Battle Royale season is scheduled to end on Friday, June 3. Considering that the event is going to be big, we can expect it to happen on this date and to conclude the entire season. However, Epic may push it to Saturday so more players can attend it.
When it comes to the exact time of the event, it will probably be at 2 PM Eastern Time. The game developer will most likely make an official announcement regarding the release date very soon.
