New Fortnite Save the World Dev Update Discusses Perk Recombobulator
Ever since Fortnite Season 4 launched, Epic Games has been decidedly busy zipping things around and getting them ready for the ridiculously large player base the game has amassed. The return of the 50v50 mode, the arrival of Thanos, and all the other cool stuff going on makes it hard to keep up with all the other things behind the scenes. That’s why the new Dev Update video is such a great watch, especially if you haven’t seen it yet.
You can view it above, which the team prefaces with: “Since Fortnite: Save the World’s launch, we have envisioned a way for players to take steps to customize their items to suit their playstyle. It’s here and we can’t wait to share it with you!”

They also speak briefly about the Perk Recombobulator, which is explained as being unlocked when you finish up Plankerton Storm Sheild Defense 2. After that, you’ll unlock two side quests that you’ll have to finish which will reward you with resources to use in the Perk Recombobulator. You can then get to that feature via the “Modify Perks” option to use “Re-Perk” or “Perk-Up’ options.
