Fortnite has introduced its latest content update in the form of v4.3, which acts as a follow-up to last week’s 5.4 patch. It’s gone live on all platforms, and as we’ve been guessing, it does bring back the Bouncer Trap to Fortnite Battle Royale. That’s the biggest draw of the update in general, of course, which should have folks very interested in giving the new content dump a spin.
The Bouncer Trap lets you first throw it down onto the ground, then use it to send enemies hurtling through the air. You can also choose to throw it onto a wall to push your opponens into the panel and then send them flying from there as well. It’s really up to you, honestly. You can find the Traps in stacks of three when they drop, and they’ll be available as floor loot in addition to treasure chests, supply llamas, and supply drops.
There’s also some new goodies for the Save the World mode, such as new heroes Diecast Jonesy and Chromium Ramirez. You can unlock both in the Event Store after 8 PM ET, so make sure you’ve got your precious V-Bucks at the ready. They look like pretty unique additions to the pack, that’s for sure — and they’re probably not human, either. No one’s saying they’re robots, but, well…they look like robots.
The usual weekly challenge updates will be coming down the line this Thursday but that might be all the content updates we have to look forward to for now. With E3 2018 around the corner, this probably will be the last wave of updates coming ahead of the show, and Fortnite is rumored to be coming to Switch as well. We’ll make sure you’re up to date with all the newest Fortnite information as it comes out of E3 next week, including any possible updates to the game while the show is going on. It’s going to be a doozy, that’s for sure.
