  1. Do you have multiple consoles, i.e. to play old games that aren’t compatible with newer consoles? How many do you have? What’s the oldest console you still use?

  2. There have been a number of studies that have shown increased pain tolerance while playing video games, i.e. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/video-games-may-help-relieve-pain/ I notice I often feel less pain while playing video games than I do during other parts of the day (chronic pain sufferer here), though that could just be because it is late at night, which is the time of day I naturally feel best physically. I also know that nothing can distract me from pain, because I seem to be wired a bit differently than most folks in that respect. But I do think accomplishing video game tasks can produce a dopamine response, and I theorize this may also help reduce pain. Anyone have thoughts on this?

  3. That is a fun game to play. I remember I spent a half a year playing that game against other people.

  4. I have two consoles, a Xbox 360 S and a PlayStation 4. I don't really use the Xbox 360 anymore but I did play on it a few months ago to try out Grand Theft Auto 4 again because I love that game. Hopefully, it will be remastered very soon for the PlayStation 4 and when that happens, chances are I will either get rid of or try to sell the Xbox 360 as I won't need it anymore.

  6. I would much rather play creative over survival if I am honest. Creative is a great game mode on Minecraft to be able to sit down, relax, not have to worry and just chill out building whatever you want. I love to be able to sit with my family and just have fun whilst building crazy things or something we have an idea for. Survival is fun but I find I get too frustrated over Survival and give up very quickly.

  7. Modern Warfare 3’s MP is a lot of fun. I’m pretty sure it’s the first title in the series to feature Infected mode which was really addictive. Nice choice! I spent a ton of hours playing the Firefight horde mode with friends. Great times!

  8. Not that long actually. I really got into them back around 2008. The first console I owned was an N64 with Super Mario, and I played that game so much because it was the only game I had at the time. My parents just couldn't afford video game consoles, so when I finally got another game, which was Pokemon Stadium, I was overjoyed because I now had two games! I have since been lucky after getting married and finally have the opportunity to play them, although I still have a long wish list of ones I have yet to play. Sadly, I no longer have an N64, but that thing was basically my childhood.

  9. Best arcade game of all time, that's a tough question! It's hard just to pick one being my favourite. As the first video game I ever played, I can always find some room and love in my heart for Pacman. A balance of many different concepts which makes the Retro Game fun to play. Very simply objective for the player. You have to make there way through a maze and has to gather all of the Pat-Dots (DOTS) in order to complete the level. As a player, you are constantly being hunted by four ghosts which means your main purpose is to kill them.

  10. For me it will be Halo 3, maybe not the best multiplayer compared to other games, but Halo 3 will always have a place in my heart.

  12. House of the Dead 3 with a shotgun. Best time I've ever had in an arcade. Also DDR. All the DDR. Burned so many calories on those machines.

  13. I played a lot of arcade games in my time. It's so hard to pick a favourite. I can give you my top three though. I love Pacman, Street Fighter and Space Invaders. Mortal Kombat and Frogger would be next.

  14. Arcade games are so much fun! I remember when I was growing up two of my most favourite arcade games to play were Donkey Kong and PacMan! PacMan was the one game I became super addicted to though and my parents were never fond of me playing on it too long due to how addicted I got to that game. Safe to say though, all the hours spent on PacMan when I was growing up definitely helped me out as I get older. It's a shame they don't make arcade games like they used to anymore, it would be nice to see something new released in the arcade genre. So many awesome memories!
