Resident Evil 2 Remake. COME ON GUYS, ITS A GOOD ONE!

Hey everyone! Instead of a poll or the like, I just wanted to see what your personal Top 10 Games of 2018 are. These are your favorite games, the best games, etc. Thankfully, I've kept a list all year and updated it as time went on and I played more games. You can find my personal list below along with links to any reviews I did of them. I'd love to see yours! My Top 10 Games of 2018: (from least to greatest) 10. Pokemon Let's Go 9. Red Dead Redemption 2 (Read my review right now on VGR.com!) 8. Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory 7. Octopath Traveler 6. God of War 5. Death Mark 4. Ys VIII (Switch) 3. Spider-Man 2. Detroit: Become Human 1. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology (the first and only 5/5 or 100% I've given)

I think I'd rank my favourite games that I played this year as follows. However, it's worth mentioning that I don't have a PS4; if I did, then games like God of War, Spider-Man, etc. would probably have made the list! I also haven't had a chance to play RDR2 yet... Hitman 2 The Witcher 3 (I know it's a few years old, but I did a big re-play-through as it had been a while!) Assassin's Creed Odyssey Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Far Cry 5 Monster Hunter: World Subnautica For Honor (I happened to pick it up early this year) Battlefield 1 (I finally got around to playing the War Stories, so this is just rated for those; I didn't bother with multiplayer) Jurassic World Evolution

I would feel really ashamed if it weren't for the fact that I did the exact same thing when I assumed that a random guy on the internet was an EA employee..Oops.

Cyberpunk 2077 Days Gone The Last Of Us Part II

I'm wondering why nobody is showing anyone this. Seriously, it literally destroys any argument that the "Console Peasants" (No Offense) has. Especially these two. So, here are stats from last year's GDC (Yes, WESTERN developers). "Well, okay. But what about Japan?" Here's a list of complaints about the Console gaming market (which has become way too censor-happy, especially on PS4) Not only that, but in 2017, the Console gaming market in Japan shrank to nearly one-third of its size compared to 10 years ago. And no, Black Ops 4 didn't bring any interest to that. The two dominating powers in the gaming market in Japan are mobile and PCs while consoles are being seen as luxurious and unnecessary. I'll end this "Rant" with this. To all the people who still think consoles are more popular than PC or that PC will never beat Consoles. Why do you think Sony moved the PlayStation Headquarters from Japan to North America exclusively?

Hey, someone had to say that truth at one moment or the other, right?

I mean, from what I've been seeing from press releases and stuff. We're probably on our way to seeing something as revolutionary as The Witcher without having a whiny "Author" screeching into the void and filing lawsuits against the company that popularized his tanking book series. Whoops, did I say that out loud?

I have the theory that you have a very heavy placebo effect and that's why you wanna say FO76 is good. But then again, people already question my sanity because I enjoy 1/3 of Sonic 06 so that really means I am in absolutely no position to judge.

It's a close race between Fallout 76 and Metal Gear Survive. However, it comes down to this. We knew Metal Gear Survive was going to suck. Fallout 76 was something that was supposed to work according to many Bethesda fans.

I'm going to sound like I hate almost everyone here and I am a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian. However, I love the Modern Era of gaming and the games we have gotten in the 8th generation of consoles. Sure, we have a lot of unhealthy and unethical business practices in games. However, we also saw magnificent works like God of War, Spider Man, Cuphead, The World Ends With You, Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, BlazBlue CrossTag Battle, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Flinthook, Moonlighter, This is the Police II, alongside many, many more games both from AAA and indie developers.

I played a Monster Hunter on the PSP way back when but didn't fully get into it. Some of the menus are out of control, but I can see why people like the series. It's deep and the plethora of gigantic monsters is alluring. The battle/loot/upgrade loop is addictive.

Keep ignoring it, just don't complain when Warcraft or Starcraft get the same treatment.
