  1. The release date is confirmed. Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Addition will be available for purchase from Steam and Epic Games Store will all the content from Horizon Zero Dawn and its expansion pack The Frozen Wilds. The PC version offers several new features including ultra-wide support, graphical enhancements (improved reflections and dynamic foliage), graphical customization, unlocked framerate, control options and a benchmarking tool. The PC Specs are also fairly modest, it's an easier game to run than I would have thought. All is good... apart from the price. For a game that's £15.99 on PSN right now (About $18-$19) Steam is asking for £32.99 (About $40) and, in move that's both bizarre and infuriating, Epic are asking for even more, £39.99 ($50). I'm just not convinced that's reasonable. Still though, happy to see PC players being given the chance to enjoy this fantastic game, and with what is looking like a very good port as well. I might even repurchase this myself for the experience. Anyone here exited to see this?

  4. Ah, my bad. I completely missed the ‘if you already have a PC’ part. You’re right, if you already have a PC, it really isn’t worth getting the Xbox Series X. It’s almost as if Microsoft have set up the Xbox Series X to be the inferior console in the next console war.

  7. I disagree. A PC which is as powerful as the Xbox Series X will cost you way more than the Xbox Series X - we're talking atleast a thousand £ or $. The Xbox Series X is a much cheaper and viable option for someone looking to buy a console. You've completely missed my point here. It's more finacilly viablee to wait a little and buy but an XBox Series X or a PS5 then build a PC right now, I've said so myself. My point if you already have hardware capable of playing and/or streaming these “exclusive” games then you don’t need the new XBox. Take me for example, I already have a PC that is a rough match for Next Gen (so I KNOW how expensive they are, lol) so I don’t need the new XBox. I am considering the PS5 because the exclusives on that platform actually are… exclusive. Like I said before, I applaud Microsoft for this approach with Play Anywhere and Game Pass because it is more consumer friendly than what Sony (and Nintendo) do, but they are to some degree shooting themselves in the foot with it. I will take this opertunity to re-itterate my point that if you are considering building or buying a PC right now, wait till next year. PC components always get a step up after new consoles release.

  8. The only way FIFA has evolved is how the game has embraced and mastered "gambling for kids" and the worst business practices that in the industry has to plague us with. Improved visuals over years, especially when jumping to new console generations, is something to expect, not to praise. That's not innovation. I've done a little research, and it turns out EA has used no less than three different game engines for FIFA over the last decade (Frostbite, Impact and Ignite) and I bet not one fan has noticed the difference. That's because all that they do to develop the next game is update team rosters and shirt designs etc, then just copy and paste the same game with the aforementioned minor detail changes then sell it. This has even caused bugs in the past because the coding that works with one engine isn't necessarily compatible with other. The worst part is that, deep down, the fans know this about EA Sports (Not just FIFA), but don't seem to care. They'll still buy this bullshit year after year fully aware of just how lacklustre an effort went into it.
