  1. I'll be honest I despise things like lootboxes, season passes, microtransactions etc. I can understand that nonsense in F2P games, they have to make money somehow but when a new PS4 game is £45 and day one it has a season pass for another £20 to me that is basically a scam. They obviously cut things from the game to charge people more for it. as for lootboxes, well regardless of how you spin it, that is gambling and should be imo heavily restricted or ideally banned. When it comes to microtransactions, I loathe them and I find the name insulting. when some are £10-£30-£50-£80 there is nothing 'micro' about them. as for "time savers", that holds no water with me. if you don't have time to play the game then don't buy it. and you know, we can save the game so what's the rush? even if it takes you a year to finish a game, who cares as long as you enjoyed it? Only a fool would drop £45+ on a game and then pay extra NOT to play it. lol I have no problems with a game having expansions down the line, that's how they used to do it and that's fine as you get a decent amount of content for your money. So yeah, I dislike all that nonsense, it's greedy and quite a despicable business practice.

  2. And I hope I'll fit in. Why struggle? Because I registered two weeks ago and my account was only now activated. I was actually ready to move on and call this place a bust. But it was worked out by the admin, thanks for that. First off, why am I here? Because the original forum I was frequenting since 2001 has shut down permanently in 2018. I've been struggling ever since to find a proper gaming related forum. I'll not bore you with the details of my endeavours on other sites, but if anyone wants to ask I have plenty of stories. I've been a member of at least 5 gaming related forum since my OG home started struggling long before it's inevitable closure. Of course all have been failures in some sense. But enough about that. How do I wish to contribute? First off I hope I can take part in some lively conversations about videogames, and perhaps other topics? What I drag with myself is a 15 year old history of reviewing games. In that time I've written reviews for more than 80 games, with admittedly varying depth and quality. But I hope my unique and brutally honest takes can at least be entertaining even if you don't agree with some of them. They are all collected on my personal website: MadBlog Of course I'll be adding more reviews of games as I play them. m76

Which channel do you watch for news updates? I watch BBC Breakfast every morning. However, if you stream or download any BBC content, consumers are legally bound to pay a TV License fee which is £157.50 in England. I can't entirely agree with the charge and personally believe the license should abolish or the money should go to good causes. They already get enough revenue from ad-breaks.

  5. If that ability is removed then the game will become copy of PUBG and something that fortnite is trying hard to avoid. in fact they are trying so hard that they are coming out with options of flying, swimming maps and stuff.

  7. Spoiler tags? Although changing text color to match the background might work

  8. Any and all games, that have no solo play option. I can't be bothered to play with random weirdos from around the world (no offence) I want the game world to be all mine, with nobody breaking my immersion at every corner.

    How did you find us?

I have found this site through this article. I don't think it is a particularly great article, but it listed some sites I didn't know of. And this was the most promising so I joined.

  10. @MrNature72There is nothing wrong with a bit of self-promotion, but as you have seen the sheer amount of it from members who have joined the forum to do nothing but that has been a great source of frustration recently for the community. I look forward to your future contribution to the community and wish you nothing but the very best for your game, but for now, I'm going to lock this thread. You will be free to talk more about this game of yours once you have made a greater contribution to the community.

  11. Are you fucking serious? You post an A.M.A when nobody on the forum even asked you or your company any questions then ask, in response, if this is something that happens often on this forum as if it's some kind of excuse? FUCK OFF! Just to let you know spamming has been a problem as if late and many of us are sick of it. To tell the truth, the game actually looks pretty decent. But you need to make a meaningful contribution to the community before pushing it like this.

  12. It's like the sprite from "Snake" has literally escaped from the game and is now running amok around the circuit board being chased by Fallout Eyebots.

  14. Props from another classic gamer. My first system was a Colecovisiob. I didn’t appreciate it at the time, and now wish I had. Today however, I play Atari 2600, NES, SNES, and N64 almost exclusively. I do play on my Switch a lot, but the majority of games on it are 8-16 bit games. I have Zelda Links Awakening, but to be honest with you, I greatly prefer it on Game Boy over the remaster on Switch. I have a good amount if PS1-4 games, but a lot of them have never seen the inside of a PlayStation. I have nothing against the new stuff, but I have to have my old stuff. And before you ask, none of it is any of that flashback bullshit.
