  1. He might be a veteran but also responsible for some of the biggest misteps at bioware. Like the red green and blue ending for ME3, and the consequent artistic integrity excuse for doubling down on it instead of improving it. Also it was under his leadership that they wasted time for years with no clear direction and then had to wrap up both ME:Andromeda and Anthem in basically 18 months after EA stepped on their collective necks.

  2. The majority I think overestimate their abilities. It's like that in most aspects of life. In my opinion it's a humility and modesty issue. If you're a master at a game, you're free to admit it. But if you suck, don't boast about your ability when you have none. I can't play a guitar (yet) so I can't go around boasting about my "ability". I know everything about the game play of Zelda Link To The Past (SNES) so I'm free to admit that. In my case I know a little about a lot and a lot about a little. But the former would be the bigger category.

  3. Haha, exactly. I absolutely understand how you feel and it's an individual differences thing and there is absolutely nothing wrong with feeling that way.

    What's this?

Haha - Yeah we do have a YouTube channel bro. It's not widely advertised for whatever reason though.

  5. lol Oh man - this is one of the few things that can trigger me in a game. It's one thing for the enemy to use tactical skills and have pretty strong abilities to beat you. It's another thing when the enemy only outlasts by taking way more damage than you and doesn't show any particular skill.

  6. I think it depends on the crime. First, I think all non violent offenses should be separated from violent offenders. I know that doesn't mean a fight won't happen, but it's a start. Those nonviolent inmates should be allowed to have access to games. The other ones need more rehabilitation. It makes no sense that a person goes to prison for a little weed in their pocket, and get thrown into the same crowd as others who stabbed someone or worse. So I say for games-yes and no.

    What's this?

I think some kid googled "VGR" having named his YouTube channel as such, found the VGR logo and decided it was a good fit as a logo for the YouTube channel. Of course, only @DC can clarify if this is affiliated with VGR, but I suspect probably not. Joking aside, this might be worth you attention @DC.

  9. If I'm playing with younger people then gaming most certainly causes my self-esteem to drop since I'm not as good as they are! I prefer to play alone so no one sees how poorly I do at some of the games! If I get a high score on a game that others think is hard then my self-esteem is definitely boosted.

  10. OOC, are there going to be any new games added to the "Bid For Rewards" Section? Been wanting to spend some of my points 😉

  11. I think it's a 50/50 thing in my opinion depending on how good they get at a particular game. If they are good at it, they tend to overestimate themselves and vice versa.

  12. I believe it's actually a good graphics set up especially when it aids in making the game more real than just a game.

  13. It's definitely going to be Metal Gear universe for me because when you look at the universe very closely, everything is like a ruse.

  16. All these changes to prison is making it seem more like a resort than a reform institution. They're there to be punished, not babied. But still the justice system in this country is a joke. It's severely broken, and needs more repair than we could ever afford. The best way would be to just scrap the whole damn thing and start from scratch.

    Gaming in prisions

I think it should be an incentive for good behavior. I mean, everybody makes mistakes. However, I've heard at least one person saying gaming is "being too soft to prisoners". Anyway, the games they play should be monitored, or should they? For instance, would violent games increase violent behavior and/or be a mockery of the prison?
