  1. I used to have a really bad temper when it came to video games before. I'm autistic, and let's say I once lent credence to the whole "autistic screeching" derogatory meme, as I would howl like a banshee and smack my controller against my chair, and do all sorts of things in a fit of impotent rage. I think I finally stopped when I once smacked my dad's laptop screen.... whilst wearing a ring. The colour bleeding as the laptop slowly but surely died out scared the daylights out of me, and thankfully my dad forgave the incident because it was an old laptop and he wasn't using it anyway. Since then I've been a lot more mindful of my outbursts, and today I'm completely uncaring about game rage. I have my partner to thank for my zen state, as she's the person who I save my energy for, harnessing any frustration I might have over a game to turn into creative ideas for entertaining her.

  2. I seen the trailer on the recent PlayStation Showcase and it looks pretty decent, sort of a cross between Bayonetta and NieR: Automata but certainly nothing particularly ground breaking. Much like @Shagger I don't see much evidence of the controversy your talking about. Just a few comments that the character design is generic and... It absolutely is. Don't believe me, check out this reaction video and pay particular attention to what is said at around 7 and then 35 seconds in: At 10 seconds - "Oh... I recognize her, why do I recognize her?" At 35 seconds - "Why does she look so familiar?" I'll tell you why, it's because it's same cute, sexy, slim supermodel we've seen a million times before, the very definition of playing it safe. THAT'S what some people including Alex from DF are being critical of. Not because the design is sexy, but because it's generic and uninspired. Personally I don't really give a shit. If a poster for 13 year old to jerk off to is what they wanna do then fine. They could ship the collector's edition with a bottle of her bath water and unwashed panties for all I care (I'm not sure how they would achieve that but whatever). What I don't get is why you and others in a certain corner of the internet have such a problem when others say they want something different? Why does it always have some kind of lefty political agenda? They keep arguing for the freedom of creative design for developer's, yet when they exercise that right to make characters "less attractive" they throw their toys out the pram! I guess what I'm try to say to everyone who are making complaints about Thor being to fat, Aloy being to ugly, the main character from Project EVE being to sexy or any other design from any other game you could apply any of these bullshit arguments to is...

    My Friend Peppa Pig

Definitely not my kind of game either but the voice acting has me in stitches. I don't know why but I can't stop laughing.

  4. They just really feel like ignoring the fact that lootboxes are actually simulation gambling because it's not reflecting on their rating system.

  5. I've actually praised the existence to organisations like PEGI and the ESRB going so far as to say we have them to thank for gaming existing as we know it today, but this is indefensible. The game's ratings boards need a serious kick in the ass.

  6. Yeah - health is very important because you wouldn't know when those creeps swarm up on you and shit may get worse if you are running low on ammo.

  7. I don't think PEGI have considered this thing while rating the games. I think, the games that they rate are mostly on violence and gore contents, and least about such microtransactions related stuffs.

  8. Finding a chair and sitting down, while I look for my keys so I can go home. I'm a boring bitch.

  9. That's not the real issue though - it's the fact that gambling in games using real money is being promoted as "child friendly" whereas gambling with virtual assets in games like Pokemon is being promoted as "adult gambling". It doesn't make any sense...

  10. Yeah, some things are best left to schools. I'm not sure what they were aiming to do with such an event in a game where kids and adults are obviously going to be messing around and not taking things seriously.

  11. I don't have a problem with people buying/selling/trading here. But when that's their first post, it pisses me off. I don't care what they're peddling. They just want revenue and don't give 2 shits about contributing to a forum. If this was someone that we all knew like @skyfire or @DylanC or @killamch89 or someone, then I would be all over it asking for items. But some dickhead making only that one post is bullshit.
