  1. Since when were Welcome to the Jungle, and Rampage, (Jumanji) The Next Level based of video games? I know that in the Jumanji movies he's in the story goes that they enter the worls of Jumanji as if it were a video game, but they are not actually based on a video game that exists in real life. Doom is the only one you listed that is actually based on a real life video game, and to the best of my knowledge, that's the only time he has been in one.

  2. That's bullshit. Especially to those of us who have no family other than their pets. If they're just an animal, then so are you. We're nothing more the bipedal primates. We're just mammals. We're all part of the genus "Homo". We're not Homo Erectus. We're not Homo Habilus. We're Homo Sapien. You're nothing but an animal. I'm nothing but an animal. @DC is nothing but an animal. This entire forum is full of beings that are nothing but animals. The only difference is: not a god damn thing. You may think you're superior to other animals, but in truth you're not. Homo Sapien is one of the lowest life forms. We have greater technology, but due to our own corruption, we're not much better than whatever is on the bottom. So don't ever say that they're "just an animal". That makes you come of as calling them disposable. "Oh it's dead? I guess I'll just get another one, and toss this one in a dumpster on the way." That is how animal abusers think.

  3. Don't take that tone with @Dannyjax, it's not his fault you messed that up. And worse, you messed that up about an hour after I gave you a telling off for something very similar on anther thread. So I would suggest instead of talking back to him, you actually take his advice, the same advice I have given you time and time again, and actually read the threads carefully, make sure you know what you are talking about before even thinking about making a reply. He's 100% correct that if you don't have anything new to add or if you don't have full understanding of what's going on in the discussion, then it's better to not post at all until you do. Just because it's not coming from a moderator, doesn't mean it's not good advice. This lack of aptitude form you is generating a lot of frustration amongst the community and I believe it keeps happening because you let you fingers move before your brain. If you just thought "Do I need to post this" and read threads with a bit more care and patience, I genuinely believe this wouldn't happen. But you know this because I've told you several times. However, even my patience has a limit and it is getting very close to that limit. I know you can do better than this, but now it's time to convince everyone else. Please.

  5. Yeah the new Jumanji movies are not really based on a real videogame, I mean sure the topic of the movie is that they are trapped in a videogame unlike the original Jumanji movie were they were trapped in a boardgame. But Rampage is based on a real videgame that goes as far as back as the arcades and the NES and some sequels on the n64 and the Wii. Btw Im also a fan of the Doom movie, its one of those movies that is so bad thats its good 😆 Yeah I believe he is working as a producer on a movie adaptation for It Takes Two, a great game btw it was game of the year 2021 and it surely earn its place there.

  6. @Justin11 and @kingpotato First off, chill. I don't play and have never played Fortnite, but all the research I have gathered has guided me to believe that Fortnite is NOT pay-to-win. There are skins just due to the colour palate bend into certain environments and backgrounds better than others, a few examples in this video here; There is also some belief among players that some skins have an effect on the players hitbox and thus can possibly pose an advantage depending on the skin. However, there is is no way to boost stats, buy better weapons, upgrade equipment, buy better spawns or buy into a match after it has started or anything that deliberately and fundamentally affects gameplay that can be bought. As far as I can tell, it's all cosmetic stuff such as skins for gliders, vehicles, weapons and the player's avatar itself as well as expressive cosmetics such as emotes. Every player on Fortnite has the same stats regardless of the amount of hours they have played. Just because a game has encouraged a large amount of spending on in-game purchases, does not make it pay-to-win. Pay-to-win is when you can spend money to gain a tactical and/or practical advantage over a player with a similar level of experience who doesn't pay. Fortnite does not do that. A more experienced and better practiced player will naturally have an advantage over a rookie like anything else, but you can't pay for any form of gameplay advantage. I started typing this out before you actually made these two replies and what I was going to ask you to do @Justin11 is explain why you consider Fortnite a pay-to-win experience. Having seen these two replies, I'm honestly sill a little unsure as to why you believe this to be the case. So, other than the debateable skins that might serve as camouflage or may affect hit boxes, is there anything else that you believe can be bought that offers an advantage? Is so, what item or items offer an advantage and in what way do they offer an advantage?

  7. THOSE ARE COSMETICS!!!!! Skins, emotes, outfits and some Battle pass items, THOSE ARE ALL COSMETICS!!! You dont need cosmetics to do battlepass quests, hell you dont even need to buy the battle pasts to do the battlepass missions You dont need cosmetics to upgrade your weapons, YOU DONT NEED COSMETICS TO WIN!!! How in the world is paying for a skin pay to win ?? Do you even understand what pay to win is ??? Buying a cosmetic item is not going to make you win.

  8. I already ranted about this with you but it seems that you dont care what people say. EVERYTHING THAT YOU JUST SAID IS WRONG, it is Obvius that you have never played the game in your life! Fortnite is NOT PAY TO WIN, YOU DONT NEED TO PAY TO PROGRESS IN THE GAME, YOU DONT PAY FOR POWERFULL WEAPONS OR ITEMS, YOU DONT NEED TO PAY FOR ITEMS TO EQUIP THEM FOR EACH CHAPTER OR EPISODE!! NONE OF THE ITEMS COST MONEY TO USE THEM, YOU CAN USE ALL THE ITEMS ON THE GAME FOR FREE The only thing that you pay for is cosmetics, either skins for your character, skins for your guns or vehicles. You had already made this statement once and I gave you the exact same response. You make a lot of claims that you play fortnite but thats a LIE, if you actually play the game you would know all these things and you wouldnt be making all these false claims.

  9. Well to go back to the topic, i don't do multiplayer. I'm not going to say multiplayer sucks because it's something i know little to nothing of people can enjoy what they want. As previously mentioned by @The Blackangel i also like to play my games in peace and i don't need to have people raging to me because they lost or i'm the weakest link in their team it's just doesen't appeal to me. Like i don't have a problem with multiplayer being integrated in an otherwise mostly singleplayer game, IF the single player campaign doesen't fall victim because of it and that is mostly the case because with the time and effort designing the multiplayer, that same effort could have gone into a better campaign imo. You have to ask yourself do games like mass effect, ghost of tsushima, uncharted and the last of us really need a multiplayer mode, i haven't played them obviously but i'll take @kingpotato word for it and say that the efforts it toke for building the multiplayer were better off used elsewhere. Another problem i have multiplayer based games, they are temporarily experiences, like enjoy it while you can because it may be gone tommorow. I'm not going to dive deep into this because i've mentioned this quite a few times in other threads already. You'll probably be safe with fortnite for the foreseeable future but let's say something like the first destiny or the first the crew game, i don't know how well these are still doing but give and take another couple of years and those may be gone forever. A singleplayer game for aslong i have working hardware i can still play it, hell i still use my childhood sega megadrive every now and then. Something that pisses me off even more is singleplayer based games that are unplayable offline, like why? Why do i need to connect to a fucking server to play a damn single player game, if anybody can give me a solid answer to this please do. I do have a xbox live subscription, that i meanly keep it around for the "free" games since i don't buy digital games it's a good way for me to download some games for free that i would have never experienced otherwise. I know the quality isen't always great but you know. I'll end the rant here, to give a much shorter answer for all i care developers can shove their multiplayer shit up their ass. If you made it this far enjoy the weekend and have a good one.

  10. Humans don't actually have a bigger brain capacity. A primate brain does not denote intelligence. The largest brain of any animal belongs to the sperm whale. Yet I don't see them running fortune 500 companies or delivering pizzas. Humans hold themselves above the rest of the animal kingdom, due to their overinflated ego and pure narcissism.

  12. Nah, even though I love Dark Souls 2 and 3 I feel like From is at their best creating new worlds and playing with new ideas. Dark Souls was meant to be a one off and Miyazaki himself said he isn't interested in sequels so why force them to milk a game they might not want to continue. If they want to continue Bloodborne I'll be the first in line to buy it, but I'd be more excited to see new things from them.

  20. This reply is directly at @Justin11, but I want anyone who sees this to read it and read it carefully. Here's the thing @Justin11. You don't bother to take the time to adequately read a post then without thinking it through you make a reply. The reply is clearly made with inadequate understanding of the post you are replying to and/or a lack of understanding of the facts and the subject matter of the thread itself. Then you say "my bad" and apologise. Then comes the part that genuinely pisses me off, you never learn form this when it happens and sooner or later you do exact same thing again. Why does this keep happening? Why is it despite making this mistake time after time, you keep doing it? Well, I'll tell you why, it's because you don't care. You don't care to put in the effort it takes to avoid making this mistake again, because reading and replying to posts with consistent accuracy on a forum does take effort. It takes reading a post carefully and making sure you understand it (Especially important if English isn't your first language.) then taking just as much care to crafting a reply that is worth making. But for you, getting this wrong is inevitable no matter how many times you "apologize" for it And cherry on top of this shit cake is that in this thread, you are STILL getting it wrong! There's not one point in this entire thread @The Blackangel even mentioned the SNES or The Switch. Look again at her first post; She even said in that post that that was only a potion of her NES games, another thing that needed repeated for your sake because you clearly didn't read it properly. We know you're not doing this maliciously, but there has to come a point where you're not doing it by accident either. People who post on this forum, moderator or not, at the very least deserve to have people who read thier posts actually read them and understand them, especially if the one reading the post intends to reply. I really should not have to explain this to anyone because it's basic forum etiquette as well as common sense. It is so frustrating dealing with someone not understanding and replying to your clearly written, easy to understand posts because they can't be bothered to take the time to read them properly. I'd even call it infuriating. It would actually be better to ignore other people's posts completely than keep doing this. Now, I really don't know where to go with you and the others who consistently do this sort of thing. Another thing I feel like I've said a million times, we understand that English is not the first language for a lot of our members, and if people do struggle with English we are here to help anyone needs help, but it's also true that it's each members responsibility to take the time they need to both read and write posts accurately. However, I tend to find that in most of these instances people tend to leave little time between posts, suggesting they are doing this in a rush. If you keep doing this, we will have to take more affirmative action. We don't want your apologies @Justin11, we want to to learn from these instances.

  21. If it's something I know that the game's developers are still going to work on because it's going to be reported, why do I have to do anything? There's no pain or stress in waiting while playing another game.

  23. I never felt good with what Rockstar did with Red Dead Online for some obvious reasons. The economy was horrible in the game where it's very difficult to make money that's very necessary for you to play the game. The controls where were horrible and most towns in the game looks like Ghost town.

  24. That's a popular point of view on VGR and for good reasons. I love Burnout (apart from the travesty that was Burnout Paradise) and Burnou3 especially being right up there. There's a topic on the franchise to be found here if you're interested.

  30. From what I understand, this is one of the things that made the recently flopped GTA Trilogy so bad. The remaster is just sickening from what I gather from everyone here who tried it. Again, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not a GTA gamer, so I honestly don't know.

  35. Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning I did a review of thus dumpster fire on VGR, so I urge people to check that out first and read the whole thread to get the full story. Suffice to say, it was tragic. The original game that run perfectly fine with issue I can recall and "remastered" into something at time barely worked. The didn't really look any better either, it just had better compatibility with higher resolution displays (the original has texture scaling issues that make the game very hard to play at anything higher than 1080p). The only real reason to even buy this version was the new Fatesworn DLC that was delayed and took well over a year to come out, and that was also busted. It was also after patches I was finally able to finish it. It was so bad it actually makes me feel ambivalent about the prospect of a sequel form this same studio and publisher. Yes, I'd love a follow up to Kingdoms of Amalur, but the thought of these incompetent pricks making it is a bad omen.

  37. I have had my own steam account got hacked many years ago. Who then got into my PubG account game and got me banned and VAC added to my account. Long story short links going around from other accounts and I ended up pooping it and then BANG, I lost my account. Taken three days to get my account back. With steam support. Then after I got my account back I had to then get in contact with PubG support and passed the information over to them with so that they can lift the VAC ban. End of the day I got my account back and no VAC 🙂

  38. What it all come down to is how popular you and your Twitch channel is. To make the absurd amount of money PewDiePie or Ninja does, you have to be at a level of populatiy that's pretty much A-list celebrity territory. When Twitch streamers get to a certain point in popularity, the amount of traffic the bring to the twitch website can be immense, generating a ton of revenue for both themselves and Twitch through adds. Popularity also brings in more subscribers, donators and sometimes sponsors as well. It's a classic "the rich get richer" scenario. However, forget about making millions, just earning enough through streaming to earn a living is incredibly rare and very few people even get that far. To get to that point requires working hard at it and being decimated and committed, something that's difficult to do before your earning enough money to actually stream full time without another job, so it's not easy. Not to mention this does require a certain amount of luck as well. People can work twice as hard on thier Twitch channel as Ninja or PewDiePie and earn nothing. It's not fair, but it's what it is. Ninja was a little bit different because he's a successful pro-gamer, so he was able to jump right into it and be as popular as he is almost right away, but PewDiePie has been doing YouTube and Twitch for a long time and built this up from nothing. So I don't actually grudge him his success, but I still reserve the right to be homicidally jealous.

  45. Twice. The first time being in World of Warcraft; my partner at the time had to phone customer service to get it back, bless her, and I'd sold all my characters' ill-gotten gains from botting to a vendor. I wasn't about to contribute to the botting problem by profiting on it on the Auction House. I've yet to receive my halo for that one. The second time was my BethesdaNet account. Zero means of getting back into it, even to cancel it. Honestly, I pity the person who stole it because they wasted their time robbing me of Fallout 76. Thanks a bunch.
