@Justin11 Man don't let me stop you, no by all means if you are comfortable with it go for it i'm not going to judge you if fall for older women and to be honest it's nobodys business away. It's just i find this fascinating to read that is all. You know since we're sharing stories when i was about 18 i had a crush on the mom of one of my classmates, late 30 ies you're typical milf and divorced, she was such a caring and loving person and would help us out the best she could, that i was starting to think damn she is the perfect woman for me, i kind off started hanging out with her son more often, we eventually became good friends and after a few months i finally had the courage to say how awesome she was, she was flattered and diden't believe me at first but let me tell you we did share some good intimate well quite a few moments together for like a year but it's just felt not right maybe when i was little older it would have worked out but you know that is how life is. I know all this is probably awkward to share on a public forum but eh fuck it.

What games do you feel have some good attributes(like storytelling, gameplay, visuals for example) but as a whole experience fall flat for whatever reason? I would say FF7 R. There's a lot to like about it. IMO It has probably the best combat in the series, the story is controversial but it is a nice twist on FF7's plot and the soundtrack and visuals are great. However it feels so bloated since its a 10 hour disc stretched out into a 40 hour game and theres lots of interactive loading sections like squeezing through debris, both of which make the game feel like a slog a lot of the time. I would also say FE:3H. There are some nice attributes about it like monster fights, weapon designs, the plot and the OST. But the overall experience always gets boring after a while and I had to keep taking long breaks to get back into it. Maybe it's the setting and graphically ugly looking church school hub world. I also don't like divine pulse much since it completely coddles you as you can just hit the undo button if you fuck up which takes away the tension/stakes and weapon skills felt easily abusable.

What is your morning routine? I wake up no later than 6am and immediately shower. Then I prepare and eat breakfast. Then go back to the bathroom to shave (if necessary), brush teeth, and apply morning skincare routine (usually lotion and SPF sunscreen). Then I get ready to go for work. During the weekends I work out in the morning. I like to get up quickly and get a moving on my day.

If he did, he probably wouldn’t be doing auctions and including business cards with his info on them.

Definitely. The generalization of both genders "all men are XYZ" and "all women are XYZ" based off a specific individual's few circumstances/interactions are so frustrating to me. It's also a major red flag in my opinion.

Not a city but a county: Yorkshire. You've got the dales and farmlands, the steel city of Sheffield, the coal towns, the shattering village of Skelmanthorpe, and some coastline. Set it during post-WW2 and you could have quite a strong atmosphere for a game. Call it Forlar' Farv (that's Fallout Five for those outside of God's Own County) and sell it for For'y Quid. In the meantime we'll have to settle for that Southern tripe, Fallout: London. I guess that'd be an alright place to explore. Might even work as a Yakuza-style world: compact and true to scale, if your hardware can handle all the pigeons.

For sure, I wasn't expecting this level of awesome! I wasn't sure what to expect, but once these new maps opened up in the DLC, blew my mind.

I am planning a few vacations this summer. I haven't traveled the last few years primarily due to covid and just being very busy with work and personal life. I am excited and looking forward it. 🙂

My little brother is just like that. I'm not sure if he's got any girl that he's romantically involved with and to make matters worse he's got so many girls jumping all over him but he's never in any relationship with any of them. I keep wondering how he does that.

My own experience is even a bit more hilarious than yours. It was growing pubic hairs 😂. I was so fascinated by it and my peer group and older boys I played with didn't make life easier for me back then. We usually go to the stream to swim and on getting there, we would all undress and if you haven't grown pubic hairs, you won't be allowed to swin deeper in the stream 😂. I had to start using alcohol on my pubic area because I heard that it makes hairs to grow faster/quicker... 😂. Today, I wish I don't have hairs down there 😂.. I'm tired of shaving all the time 😩.

This is so funny , I didn't want to post it but yeah I would. Growing up I had a lot of older siblings and cousins though I am the first child of my parents, my dad has a lot of relatives , siblings and extended family who do come visiting from time to time. When I was still about 7 years old I was already hanging out with my older cousins who are atleast 10 to 15 years older than me. I always looked at them and saw most of them had a few pimples on their faces which they were always talking about and discussing the best way to treat it. So I always prayed to grow up fast so I can start having pimples (acne )😅 and facial hair. Now I don't feel so great about having any of them asides the facial hair. I have discovered the hard way that acne is nobody's friend and doesn't make you more or less respectable as an adult.

Surprised nobody said Destiny yet. Top of the line AAA graphics, amazing gunplay, competent multiplayer but it all kinda added up to... meh. Obviously the story was a hot mess but that wouldn’t have been an issue if the gameplay were more interesting. You can blame the writing for that. Basically every spoken line in the game was either merely informational or filler. They built this awesome world, and then told you nothing about it. Instead you just listen to dumb jokes all day long.

This has to be my absolute favourite topic brought up on the forum, and yet I strongly doubt I can do it justice in response. I'll give it a go. Spyro Fusion/Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy (Vicarious Visions, 2004) It was the dream crossover for the Playstation One: Spyro and Crash Bandicoot working together to defeat their most hated nemeses, Ripto and Dr. Neo Cortex, respectively. In The Cortex Conspiracy, Spyro took on Crash's antagonist. Sounds fun enough: the two have had cameo appearances in each other's games, from the Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped demo being available in Spyro: Year of the Dragon, to Spyro appearing as a playable character on Crash Nitro Kart on Game Boy Advance. The problem is the crossover came over four years too late, which is particularly bad when a working and fairly competent game could be released in 8-12 months. Furthermore, this wasn't on systems where the characters' designs could be realised with greater graphical fidelity, but instead the concept was made for the Game Boy Advance. The concept not being fully realised due to the technical limitations of its sytem is one thing, but the execution was also bad. A constant complaint I have with Spyro and Crash is the unnecessary amount of vehicles in platform games (full disclosure: link is to my Let's Play of Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly), and the Fusion games are nothing but vehicular mini-games. They're not particularly good either, the game only being more favourable over Crash Fusion/Purple: Ripto's Rampage because the vehicles control slightly less shoddily than Crash's mini-games. So why is this game less than the sum of its parts? Some of the vehicles stages perform better compared to their console counterparts in Enter the Dragonfly and later A Hero's Tail. But the main reason is the fact this is the first Spyro sidescroller which worked incredibly well, especially in contrast to the Season of Ice/Flame games earlier released. It wouldn't be until The Legend of Spyro on Game Boy Advance where we'd see it again, except now with health bars, enemies requiring multiple hits and breath weapons... again, the consoles doing all that already in full 3D. Its music is phenominal to say Spyro veteran Stewart Copeland (yes, the drummer and founder of The Police) didn't make it. Instead we have Martin Schjøler to thank for the smooth audio beats, meanwhile making crunchier, upbeat tunes for Crash Fusion. Its graphical fidelity is also pretty good, doing a better job of matching the style of Spyro than previous games. Its story isn't half bad either, with frequent updates between Crash and Aku-Aku, and Spyro and Sparx on their next moves and their progress in their respective games. ~ This is the first game that I'll probably mention here. I'll come back with another game, hopefully without risking clogging up the page, but I'd like to contribute more to a question I'm deeply interested in and when I've got more time to type. Thanks again for posing this question. Never would've thought to ask it myself!

Agreed that 300 million seems like a fire sale price for those franchises. If Square Enix wasn't properly utilizing the IP they had, it's better off elsewhere. Every time someone mentions video games and NFTs/Blockchain in the same sentence, my eyes roll just a little bit harder.

I love these movies, despite the fact I didn't exactly grow up with them. I favour the first and third movies myself, I love the second as well but I just it retread the same notes as the first a little to much. I only really became a fan later in life and only recently did I discover some interesting facts about them. For example, the first movie released in theatres in America the literal day I was born!

I will never move to anywhere that has a HOA. I simply will not tolerate that nazi-esque bullshit. That aside, I would be willing to own my home as long as the property taxes don't take a big bite out of my ass.

I would be adding some shooting games like Halo Infinite and Call of Duty Vanguard to the games we are going to play. Getting into the multiplayer mode in Call of Duty Vanguard will be very fun for us.

This is so true, life without music is a very boring one. I can't imagine life and a world without music in it.

If I don't do movies or sleep when I'm home, it's only playing video games that's going to take most of my time that very day.

I tend to fast on from Friday evening to Saturday evening so I don't play any games during that time as fasting saps a lot of my energy. Sometimes, I don't play any games on Saturday at all.

Keep your feet cool! And your neck. They're both pulse points and putting an ice pack or a cool cloth on them can do wonders. I live in England, I just open the window for a bit and let the rain in. And even when it's sunny it never really gets much above 25 degrees. WHen we do get over 30c, doesn't last a week 😛 only a day or two

He probably had zero clue what he was talking about but justin11 is right. The purple discs that a lot of the earlier ps2 games came on were cd-roms, sony ditched the format for the dvd rom format pretty early on as a couple of models have problems reading the purple discs so that may be the reason, from experience whenever i booted up a purple disc my ps2 would make a lot of noise, i've heard some slim models don't read them at all. Their was an official hard drive released for the ps2 , i have one somewhere but never used it so i can't really say much about it. Then their is also this funky ps2/digital recorder hybrid with a 250gb hdd called the Psx only released in japan. Quite an interesting piece of playstation history if you ask me. The only problem is finding a working one is a challenge these days. But damn to stay on topic how long can you get a thread going about cleaning your consoles it's already at 9 fucking pages. Guess i'll just say how i do it then, the consoles i have hooked up i dust off once a week and that is more then enough imo, all my retro games are either in special box protectors or resealable dvd/blu-ray baggies to prevent wear and tear plus they are so much easier to dust off. All my consoles i don't use are in their original boxes, stashed away in various closets away mostly.

Some gamers find it difficult to set their priorities in the right way which makes them play more than they should when they shouldn't. This is what usually leads to addiction.

You don't get to have so many responsibilities to take care of as a kid and it's why playing video games seemed like a priority for most of us then.

When you're old enough to know what's good for when they are good for you makes a lot of sense. It's why most adults that's reasonable drop the games when it's better to sleep.

@Yaramaki is the lucky one who didn't have to share with their siblings and the constant back and forth over who's turn it is to play the PS2 etc. Not to mention the constant pranks. They get all the undivided love and attention from their parents.

Maybe they give vgr more time than they allocate to video games, well you wouldn't blame them as vgr is a really interesting place to be and you can actually come and place your comments even with your spare 20mins while on the job. Playing video games for that same amount of time wouldn't give you the full satisfaction you need. This days I get really busy and I only play video games for at least an hour daily.
