  1. Well here's some Nintendo Switch related bullshit to brighten up your day: https://kotaku.com/elder-scrolls-skyrim-nintendo-switch-anniversary-1849599263 In case your not aware the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim is basically the same as the Special Edition except it's got The Creation Club content included. Creation Club is where you go to pay money for user created mods instead of going to Nexus Mods to get far superior content for free because.... your a jackass. The Anniversary Edition is something like £15/$20 upgrade or £43/$50 full purchase on PC Steam for this over a decade old game and it's almost universally agreed by Stream users that this clearly not worth it. Yet not only is it $70 on the Nintendo Switch, as as I can tell there's no option to upgrade either! It's the full whack $69.99 even if you own the Special Edition already. I genuinely don't understand how Nintendo keep getting away with charging such a premium which has happened multiple times. Why are games so expensive on the Switch when in many cases the ports are inferior? This is ridiculous.

    GTA 6 has leaked

I just saw one of my favorite YouTubers Mightykeef upload this skit about the whole situation and it's hilarious as hell but is somewhat accurate.

  3. Rivalries are very enjoyable in video games since they are recurring anti-heroes or villains who have a personal connection to the player. These recurring conflicts between two acquainted characters make for very interesting drama and keep you wanting to see how it resolves(like if the rival joins your side or you end up killing the rival). Which would you say are your favourite? My list: 1 - Dante & Vergil(Devil May Cry) 2 - Yuri & Flynn(Tales of Vesperia) 3 - Velvet & Artorius(Tales of Berseria) 4 - Naked Snake & The Boss(Metal Gear Solid 3) 5 - Cole & Kessler(inFAMOUS) Honourable Mentions: Delsin & Augustine(inFAMOUS Second Son), Sora & Riku(Kingdom Hearts), Squall and Seifer(Final Fantasy VIII), Basch & Gabranth(Final Fantasy XII), Solid Snake & Liquid Snake(Metal Gear Solid)

  4. I didn't just ask that for my sake, I'm not the only one who really hates that. Still, I appreciate that, so thank you. I want you to understand something though. It's not just the term and what it means in history that bothers me. As a PC gamer, I find the idea that we are somehow better than other gamers just because of a platform presence abhorrent and fundamentally wrong, and there's a reason. I was once part of a forum and gaming community that was about gamers grouping up and organizing with each other to play games together, but at first they absolutely refused to support those of people played on console and excluded them. Whenever we tried to organise our own game nights on console, they shut us down. Even on cross platform games they set the rules up in such a way that we could not join in. So you see, I'm not just being some "snowflake", "PC Master Race" is an attack of the very principles I hold as a gamer. None of the arrogance and elitism that some PC gamers feel is justified and just like how me and a few others refused to let to let it be acceptable back then, I refuse to let it be acceptable now. Anyway, rant over. Once again, thank you for being cool about this.

  5. Sad to see it go, but many saw it coming from day one of its announcement. At least those who purchased things are getting a refund.

  6. Chandler, Joe And Ross were the most hilarious members of the show. Anytime those three were together, you just knew something stupidly hilarious was bound to happen.

  7. It's not bad at all but they are dragging out the final season now which makes it very tedious. Most people know how the story will end so just end it already.

  8. You took all the good ones: Vergil and Dante was my first mention - I mean these two are iconic and seeing them go head to head in DMC 3 was such an epic fight. DMC 5 had an awesome fight as well especially when they both went full powered devil trigger. Too bad Nero had to interfere... Squall and Seifer from FFVIII (my favorite Final Fantasy game) - Seifer was always jealous of Squall and that's because even though he was an introvert, many people looked up to Squall and respected him. Solid And Liquid Snake's rivalry spans multiple games with Liquid taking over Ocelot's body or that's what we thought until the twist at the end of MGS 4 when it was revealed that he used nanomachines to transplant Liquid's personality into his body to avoid the Patriots.

  9. So true - it just cheapens the experience honestly. We get that it's an illusion of choice but at least make it have some influence... Maybe not - you could have a sequel that checks which choices you made in the game prior and starts off with a start that reflects those choices. I agree it'd be time consuming to implement but it doesn't make sense giving us choices if it doesn't matter in the end.

  10. If you can find some free to play MMO you like, you can play it via PS Plus. If I remember correctly, you can also play a large catalogue of games similar to Xbox Gamepass.

  11. That's a good question. I got notified on this, so I assume @Kane99 will too.

  12. To be fair, a lot of modern MMOs have the issue with hackers/cheaters and with Ai around, the cheaters are using far more sophisticated technology than most anti-cheat software are capable of handling. Companies are going to need far more advanced software to curb this.

  14. For fucks sake can you try to do something that clearly none of these people posting these tweets, articles and videos are doing and think about it! These ratings are only applied after the publisher submits a presentation detailing all the content in the game. In order to have enough content to make this presentation the game would have to exist as at least as a fully assembled Beta. So unless Konami have decided to sit on this for the last 2 - 3 years without announcing or doing any kind of promotional work a all, there is no way that development is far down the road yet. It just doesn't add up! I'd be happy if this turned out to be a full console and PC release, I'd be be glad to be wrong. I'm telling you if "Silent Hill: The Short Message" is real, it's a Pachinko machine, arcade or maybe a mobile game at best. Another thing, if this is a console and PC release of the next main entry in the Silent Hill franchise, I find it very unlikely to be announced at the VGA's. I don't know how much of the history between the VGA's/Geoff Keighley and Konami your aware of, but let's just say not exactly tight.

  15. Even though they may be technically compatible, the read and write speeds may vary depending on the SD card manufacturer. Sandisk and Samsung SD cards tend to be very quick and reliable. You probably should look into a 512 GB micro SD card for something like a Steam Deck but make sure you buy it from a reputable source and not off Ebay or Amazon because there's lots of counterfeit products on those sites nowadays.

  16. Honestly, I definitely have to agree with you - even since 2k Games got WWE license from THQ, the series has gone steadily downhill in terms of quality and entertainment. The worst part about it is, some of the bugs that were present in previous releases as far back as 5 years ago, are still not fixed which is ridiculous considering what the game costs.

  17. Oh that's nothing new really. It happens on every marketplace out there, from Xbox, Sony, Steam etc. Maybe not Nintendo as they have a better system to block out the fake/poorly made crap. There are a lot of people out there who try to swindle people by making fake/minimalistic games in order to make money. That's why that God Of War clone on Xbox got a news report, because somehow this game got onto the Xbox. It's especially bad on Steam, Android, Apple, etc, as I think there are a lot of people out there making fake crap just to draw a quick buck out of people.

  19. Definitely, it's a good addition to Xbox game pass. I have a cousin that uses Xbox one, he runs frequently out of subscription, I'll let him know about this since he isn't regularly online checking new features of Microsoft devices. He can share this information with his Xbox friends whenever he runs out of subscription.

  20. It also means creating multiple games for different choices. No game studio would ever greenlight that, unfortunately, because that costs unreasonable amount of time and budget. You might get lucky to get a really dedicated studio that devotes 10-20 years of its time creating multiple games for the choices of ONE single game, but I haven't seen such a game yet.

  22. I'm still looking for where or how to get all The Powerpuff Girls cartoon in one collection. There's no way I can never get tired or bored by the cartoon. How they fight monsters is still so fresh in my mind like I watched it few minutes ago.

    RIP Coolio

Coolio died yesterday (9-28-2022) at a friends house. He was 59 years old. Apparently he just dropped dead in the bathroom. He finally reached the Gangstas Paradise. Rest In Peace, Coolio. You have earned it. August 1, 1963 to September 28, 2022 I would embed Gangstas Paradise, but I'm unable to embed anything for some reason.
