Warrior's career is attached with risk all over. Their is high possiblity of dieing if their is steady warfare in which the warrior is involved. Unless their is virtue of luck that makes such warrior to survive the series of wars faced.

A warrior has to be detached and numb. Go in, do what you have to do, then go home for dinner. If you think on it, you're just wasting your time. If you're sent to kill, then kill. If you're sent to die, then die.

It takes an extremely strong will to be a warrior especially in times of hardship when there's no end to your misery in sight, you have to keep pushing on. Physical ability and attributes are the smaller part of the equation. The biggest part is mentality and morality - the ability to make the hardest decisions and suffer the consequences if it doesn't work out and still have the will to go on.
