    A new portable?

Yeah I can see most PS3/PS4 games being fine. These days we have tech that can do wonders, so I can see that being a reality. I hope they utilize the same control scheme of the PS4/5 controllers. Streaming is a must, as that is our inevitable future when it comes to gaming and pretty much everything else.

  2. This topic is already starting to sound like the "Rules" from Scream... Anyway... One thing that does drive me nuts about Braveheart is the portrayal of Robert the Bruce. He didn't betray William Wallace at Falkirk. Hell, he wasn't even there. He actually grew up in the English court, so if her betrayed anyone it was England. At Bannockburn in 1314, he wasn't all dressed up in fancy armour either, he was actually armoured for something suitable for "reconnaissance" only and armed only with a small axe. An English Knight named Henry de Bohun spotted Bruce in this "disadvantaged" state with light armour and riding a small horse and charged. Bruce held his ground until the last second before side stepping and whacking Henry de Bohun with that small axe right between the eyes, both killing him and breaking the axe in the process in one of the most amazing combat baits in history. Bruce actually had to sit out the rest of the battle because he no longer had any means to defend himself.

  3. Anyone buying a new switch now may as well buy the OLED model. If Nintendo had any intention of releasing a so-called "Switch Pro" the OLED model would have been that. We will not see a hardware upgrade from Nintendo until they come out with a whole new console.

    The first video game

Found this really neat documentary on YouTube about the origins of video games. What do you think about it?

  6. I feel that the console VR may be a gimmick, but the the actual headsets dedicated to VR like Oculus isn’t a gimmick. I’ve never used the console type VR so that is only my opinion on it and I could be very wrong. I have used Oculus and no doubt it will get better and better. The graphics are in its early stages. But games that aren’t emphasized or defined by realism is especially awesome in VR. I will never forget playing a roller coaster game in VR and it’s seriously very real to me, despite not having perfect graphics; the feeling of falling at high speed and all that. Sit down or you will fall over no doubt. I think Meta is vulnerable these days. Not to go into politics, but there certainly is many outside factors that can slow down VR progression. That’s why it’s not a good idea to have social media involved with a gaming line. But VR is no gimmick. It’s the future of gaming. Musk’s gaming brain chips for Neuralink is a gimmick. That’s when Frankenstein meets Hyde

  7. Don't own an original Xbox, but I will certainly keep this in mind if I ever pick one up. I know there is a bit scene online of people bringing old consoles and games back online. And I love that. Helps give a fresh bit of life to these old consoles and games.

  8. Tenchu series for sure. I think the last game in the series dropped in 2007 on the 360. Or from what I remember. I second syphon filter, mainly because I played the hell out of the first two games demos. Lol. Other than that, I'd like to see a new Einhander game. I really liked that game back in the day, but I think it was the only game in the series.

    A new portable?

I don't think a new PS handheld has to meet the same specs of a PS5. That's kinda tough to do. But i think as long as they make quality games, that's all that matters. I don't think you can get the same specs as a PS5 in such a small form factor either. I'm sure the steam deck had to cut some corners to make it work for them. I think if they can match what the switch and steam deck can do. It'll work out much better.

    A new portable?

I think if they were to release another portable console, they would have to get it as close to their PS5 as possible but in handheld form for it to be a hit. Many now want something that they can use when on the go and at times when they can not take their PS5 with them, something like a handheld with cross-progression would be amazing for those who want to be able to game on the go still. If they were to get it as close to their PS5 but for on the go, I feel it would be a huge hit for PlayStation fans.

  11. This is awesome and the first I have heard of this. I do still have an original Xbox upstairs that I kept that I could try this on just to be able to go back. It would bring back a lot of memories to be able to go back to the Xbox Live 1.0 service. I remember how basic the first Xbox was and their online service so being able to go back to that and just see how much things have changed over the year would be amazing.

  12. I myself always used to worry when my laptop or even my PC would kick off with the fan going crazy when I was doing anything heavy. I used to worry that my PC was getting ready to just give up on me because of how hard the fan was pushing itself, after a while I got used to it and realized it was doing what it was supposed to which was help keep my PC cool whilst I was doing things such as gaming. It's nice to have something there even if it's just the fan kicking up to know that your PC is doing something so that you are aware to not do too much and possibly cause it to crash out.

  13. Google Glass anyone? I see their possible attempt at a VR device following it down the same rabbit hole.
