  1. As much as I hate to admit it, I see things going strictly digital in the not too distant future. Possibly within the PS6 era, whenever that comes. Nintendo would be the only one I could see being a holdout. It would land a hell of a blow on profits for companies. Games are all on Blu-ray discs now, which Sony owns the patent to. So if say Xbox went to strictly digital, and stopped using Blu-ray discs, Sony would lose a shitload of money. I hope this doesn't happen any time soon, but I'm absolutely 100% positive it will eventually.

  2. With the way most companies are pushing digital over physical now it definitely seems like that is what we will see happen. It may not happen for quite a few years yet but over that time, companies will more than likely push digital out more and more so that people are ready for when that happens.

  3. A lot of ppl are expecting a lot out of xbox this year. I feel like they wont have much this year either tbh. I feel like next year is when they will show out. If they dont have nothing to show for all the companies they bought next year then i think its a done deal for xbox as far as gaming goes.

  4. Why hide it when people knows anyway and the worst part that people still go forward with it knowing what they going to get there hands into. People can spend so much money on WoT that end of the day it does not get you anywhere. I mean it's a game and I can do it the same way for free, just takes longer XD

  5. I think this would be interesting but idk if it would really sell. To me, Xbox is about putting games on everything, so people have accessibility to games. I think a handheld doesn't necessarily create accessibility because you have to buy the device and then Gamepass. I think it's way more likely (and something they should be focusing on) is improving xcloud. There's rumors of a possible Gamepass dongle to plug into your TV. Mix that with the ability of Gamepass on a phone/tablet, then why have a portable?

  6. I'm pretty sure the playstore has it because chromebooks have play store support. BUt then it's something that you have to look and do. I think that you are able to

  7. Repetition. Do it over and over until you find your style, and know how to use it. For example, with FF8 most people are either magic users or rely heavily on their GF's. Me, the way that works for me is physical attacks. I can kick some major ass doing that. I also know how to junction magic and abilities to the point that I'm almost invincible. So experiment, and repeat until you have your style down. It's what works for me.

  8. Slow for the most part. Except for last night. I got a hedgie. Here's a couple pics of her. I haven't picked a name yet, but I have a few possibilities rattling around the empty space in my head.

  9. It still has split screen options, so couch gaming is still possible with friends. It's just that online MP doesn't work. I do agree with you though, it doesn't make sense not to include online mp when the Switch has it. And sure, we got the upscaled version, but I'm sure they could have still added online mp to the game. Unless there's some deal with Nintendo that doesn't allow them to have online. I don't know if Goldeneye the franchise is owned by Nintendo or not, if it is, then I can see that being a cause.

    Atomic Heart

Now this game looks awesome! From the rich, detailed world to the varied game mechanics - this definitely has my attention. This is almost like a better Cyberpunk 2077.

  11. It's sad not seeing consoles or other devices like that again. But I guess the main thing about it was that it wasn't adult friendly if that makes sense. I think it's because it looks too kid friendly, or childish, that adults didn't have any interest in it back then, while us kids loved the hell out of those translucent consoles. I think it's the aesthetic of it, in that adults aren't interested in having a colorful console sitting next to their VHS player back in the day, or looking like some giant popsicle on ones entertainment center. Now days I think nostalgia has set in, and people are taking interest in these old style designs again. I wonder if one day we'll see a resurgence of translucent cases/devices.

  12. The problem with Sega around that time is that they kept wanting to make new consoles. The Sega Saturn came out with little fanfare and they decided to move on to the Dreamcast soon after. And I'm pretty sure there was a point where Sega was in talks about making yet another console after the Dreamcast before they inevitably decided it was time to call it quits on making consoles. I may be wrong on that, but I swear that's what Sega did. They messed up by making too many new consoles too soon.

  13. Nope - I like to take my time and explore games to truly savor the experience. Can you really enjoy just skipping a huge chunk of the content just to finish a game?

  15. I wonder how you could make it special these days, isn't there a phone game that was similar that was very popular? These days I would find it hard to believe people wouldn't optimize the hell out of cheating too. Something like a 1v100 but Family Feud could be interesting because its all random surveys.

  16. The real question is if you are having fun or not. Sure competition is fun in itself, but in the end video games are for fun and entertainment. If you can be competitive, be good at it, AND have fun then more power to you. But none of it matters if you aren't having fun.

  17. Snap mode, tv integration and personal controller setting via kinect. As a family man who game in the living room it's cool that switching from tv to game and when my wife decides to play a game( she's a lefty ) the switch is seamless.

    Did you own a Kinect?

I never owned one myself, but my sister had one and I would play with my nephew when I would babysit him. I liked it for its workout possibilities, but for gaming otherwise, I didn't feel like it did a whole lot for us. Sure there was some good games that utilized the kinect voice options, but I felt that's all it had going for it. Also I kinda wanted to mess around with one on PC to see if I can do anything fun with it. I hear that's where it shined the most.
