Sorry about the title, wasn't sure about a way to title it with a greeting or whatever. Anyway, Female causal/semi-hardcore gamer, loves nintendo games(especially the lesser liked ones, what? all deserve love even if many people don't like it) Started with mostly lesser known DS games, ps3(mostly little big planet), and wii(mostly new super mario bros wii and return to dreamland original). I used to have a DS but I broke it with a pair of tweezers, nintendo didn't quality check in that regard but well who expects tweezers to be so deadly to electronics? I now have a New 3DS galaxy style, a switch, alongside the broken DSi XL, wii, and PS3. Never bought a wii u(wasn't too interested in many of the games, aside from splatoon) Weird fact:when I was a kid, I had asteroid impact/moon impact/some giant rock impact nightmares inspired by majora's mask, the imagination of a kid can go disturbingly far you know? I even thought ben drowned was a real glitch in majora's mask at the time. likely because i also have a strange ghost/something experience that is somewhat related due to the location being a haunted room in a hotel known for a female ghost who isn't harmful. If curious, search the Pink Lady of Grove Park Inn(that's the thing I felt like occurred as I felt some strange presence behind the cracked open bathroom door as I always slept with nightlights at that age - 8-12 if i remember correctly - but since it was the middle of the night and I kind of woke my older brother up by sitting up but not getting up fully because of what i felt and my bro asked what was wrong but i didn't know how to respond so i said i had to go the bathroom but i don't have to anymore(the only lie i remember ever telling in my whole life. I told anyone until the past 2 years as I asked about it on reddit before i quit reddit as they kept triggering my anxiety over how people view ME as a person). Hope to continue interacting with y'all.

    Hogwarts Legacy

If the political views of everyone involved in a game's development had to 100% align with mine I could not buy any game. Besides you don't even know if Rowling gets a cut of the sales, are the contracts public, or what? I mean they might just gave a one time payment like CDPR to the Witcher writer and not an actual cut of the sales. As for selling well, the game already outsold Elden Ring by 50% in the same amount of time. So the boycott clearly failed, just as the pathetic boycott of The Last of Us failed. I just want games to be games and not a political battleground.

    Hogwarts Legacy

I agree, definitely not an EA game and from the reviews I have heard it seems like it is an absolutely amazing game and I am gutted I am unable to play it at the moment. I do feel though even though it is early days that this is very much going to be Game of The Year and I will be very shocked if it doesn't get that. This game is loved by many even those who are not huge Harry Potter fans. My eldest son isn't a Harry Potter fan himself and he even wants to play it.

  7. I think to be honest, the reason most are excited for the new WWE game is due to the fact it is for John Cena and his 20 year anniversary which would make sense as he has been a huge star throughout his career. I think that is why my kids are more interested in it at the moment to be honest.

It's not an EA game, IDK where that came from?! I've played the game for about 16 hours now, and even though I never seen any of the movies, or read any of the books, I think it is an excellent game. The attention to detail in this game is insane, every nook and cranny is filled with interactive stuff, sometimes I just stop and look at the amount of detail put into various locations. In Hogwarts Every statue and painting literally lives a life of its own. It is truly magical, figuratively and literally. Last time I played I just sat in the main menu for a while watching my character's expressions interacting with the environment. The animations in the game are top notch. I still can't believe a studio who never did anything on this scale was able to put this together and in such high quality. Every major hub is bustling with NPCs, many of whom are also questgivers, and most of them feel real, unlike the interactive hotspot role of NPCs in other games. Of course no game is perfect, but the few negatives I found so far are far far outweighed by everything else. I don't think it is too early to call it that this will be GOTY.

  10. My choice would probably have to go to RDR2. It delves into things like racism, crime, loyalty, honor, and the struggle one faces outside the law. It may be the wild west era, but the same things are happening today that happen in the game. It's just the technology (including the weaponry) that's more advanced.

  11. It was just Pong. Final Fantasy is one. I took this from Wikipedia: "Though often attributed to the company (Square) allegedly facing bankruptcy, Sakaguchi explained that the game was his personal last-ditch effort in the game industry and that its title, Final Fantasy, stemmed from his feelings at the time; had the game not sold well, he would have quit the business and gone back to college."

  12. I got @Rain Dew a laptop at best buy a couple years back. It was $4,000, but worth it. It's more powerful than my desktop. Both of them are gaming PC's, but her laptop has me beat. She is happy with it, and I'm happy with the desktop. Actually, I hate laptops. So if you have the money, you can get some great PC's at Best Buy. I don't know jack about building your own, so I can't comment on what is better. I've always had prebuilt computers. I did special order a custom PC about 20-21 years ago, before @Rain Dew and I met. But since then, I just go with ready to go computers. I even have an all-in-one somewhere around here. If you're happy with a prebuilt computer, then go for Best Buy. They'll have the best PC's. Expensive, yes. But they have the highest quality.
