A lot of their retro games can be downloaded for free on emulator and you can play for free on windows using DOSBOX.

That's cool. Maybe someday I will try the games and use the emulator that you've mentioned.

I am not fan of the EA games. They add nothing new to their fracnhise. just same old games every year.

This is true. While they do add some new stuff it's nothing to get excited about. That's why I get a EA sports game once every 2 or 3 years and by then it's worth getting the game because there's 'more' new features

Man, I missed this sale?! I had no idea it was on sale on May 4/3... I know this is REALLY late but dang.

I'm even later responding to this. I had no idea about that sale either otherwise I might have got it! Oh well, maybe it will be on sale next year! I will have to try to remember that.

In a word, overheating.  repeated electrical loading and unloading of the CPU, GPU and RAM would cause these components to repeatedly heat up and cool down.  As this happens the solder used to connect these to the main board would sometimes fracture under the stress and eventually disconnect, hence "Red Ring of Death".

Lots of people seemed to single out microsoft and their design of the XBox 360 and it got quite a reputation for it which is a bit unfair.  The truth is this was a fairly common failure in other consoles (I mentioned the PS3’s I went through) and various Laptop and desktop computers as well even to this day.  They seem to have improved the cooling systems so thankfully it’s not as common in the XBox One and PS4 as it was last gen.

With the way technology has improved it probably doesn't happen as much now as it has in the past which you have mentioned. It would be great if someday we will never have to experience the 'red ring of death' for our systems.

I cant think of anything other than HALO.

Exactly my thoughts. Although I never owned the game I would be playing the game with High school friends at their house. We even had all nighters playing the game.

This looks like a ton of fun. Kind of reminds me of overwatch in a way. I think a lot of devs are trying to go for that feel I think.

    It's free to play. 🙂

Oh that's awesome then! I will definitely have to grab a copy of it so I can start playing the game. Maybe this will be the new Fortnite in regards to popularity.

  7. I for one have never been much into Pokemon games. I have some friends who are really into Pokemon and they have this game. It does seem like quite a bit of money to buy the game but that could be said for most games these days.

  8. I hear of people owning all the current video game consoles. That'd be a lot of money spent on gaming but it could be worth it.

Would you own all the current gaming consoles if you could? Do you already own all the current gaming consoles?

  9. I would not have imagined that there are puzzle video games. I do like a physical puzzle board challenge once in awhile. They should have virtual reality puzzles where you put the pieces together using the motion controllers. That would be kind of fun.

If I have the choice of picking PC, Definitely PC and anyone would be stupid not to pick it.

But if PC isn't an option then perhaps either the PS4, with the switch being a close second

I would respectfully disagree that anyone would be stupid not to pick it. Many of the games I enjoy playing is not available on PC. Sure, PC games are great but the ones I usually play is only for consoles. So maybe those gaming companies are stupid then for not making the games available on PC  😁

  11. I have a Samsung 43 inch HDTV. I am happy with it especially since I got it on sale for $198  regular price was over 500. Gotta love those Black Friday sales!

Are we really able to perceive 8K or anything beyond that?
4k looks nice but for me the difference between 4k and 1080p are minimal. I would much rather have a big 65 or 75 1080p TV than a 4k.

I agree with this. I don't really tell the difference between tv graphics unless its a major difference. I am happy with my hdtv and it's only a 43 inch.

  13. I don't even have any social media accounts myself so that's a no from me. Even if I did have social media I wouldn't use it for sharing gaming stuff. I wouldn't think any people would care about it if I did post things about it.

  14. I have a HP computer. I've had it for the last 8 years and it's still going good. I think I paid around 400 for it I got it on sale also. Yes some items seemed to be over priced than others.

How long ago did you get this? If it's quite new then I can see your frustration but if its anywhere from 5 to 10 years old,  no technology is built to last forever. I'm already thinking of getting a new computer since mine is 8 years old, it can die on me at anytime since its quite old.
