Kane99 got a reaction from killamch89 in What has been your favorite Call of Duty map to date?
Nuketown is always a good one, but gets annoying after a while. Firing range in black ops is dope. Crash is a good one on cod 4. Terminal on mw2. I'm sure there are a lot more, but I forget their names and the games they're in.

Kane99 got a reaction from Smokey in "Name brand" PC prebuilds or build your own?
Nah I wouldn't call any of that bloat ware. Especially if it's needed. I mainly am referring to those programs they add with like trial periods. Like Microsoft word. I don't want a free trial of that. Just don't include it. I want it to just have the essentials. The usual programs most OSs comes with. No apps otherwise. Maybe a web browser like edge so I can download something like the brave browser instead.
I hear cyberpowerpc is pretty good. I think whenever I get my next pc, if it's a prebuilt, I'd have to do some research. And if it's going to be something I build. I'm going to see about finding a site to guide me in the build process by finding the right parts for what I want.
But that won't happen for a while as I am not able to afford to dish out the money needed for a new PC or to build one. But hopefully one of these days.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Which PlayStation One cases did you prefer? Long box or jewel case?
Yeah standard jewel cases for CDs were great. The manual acting as the cover art was what made them better imo. That and how easier they were to store. They still had issues where the tabs would break and they were notorious for damaging the manuals when removed.
I think the best case was the DVD case, or better yet, the Sega Genesis cases. That is probably the standard you want for a good case.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Do you have a favorite Fortnite skin?
I like the bright and colorful skins. I wear this one where it's a woman but you have this skeleton mask. It had varying colors, but I went with this green/blue thing that changes colors. Other than that, I got a few spiderman skins, Darth Vader, movie venom, and so on. I have skins randomized from a selection i chose.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in What are your thoughts on Destiny 2 being free to play but majority of the game being paid?
A lot of these types of games become free to play at some point. I'm fine with it, especially if it's not a requirement to buy the base game. I don't see a problem if it becomes free to play where you can buy a battle pass like Fortnite. But I don't play destiny so I couldn't say for sure.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Has there ever been a game you have stopped playing because it was too addictive?
Also, I maybe would add GTA V to the topic. I played the hell out of the GTA series and I remember how addictive they were. But I think I'm all played out on the series. It's partly why I haven't played it in years probably. Maybe when the new game comes out I'll revisit the series again.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Do you feel Apex Legends could be a game that dies soon?
They no longer support it with new updates and items? I figured they still did, unless they've since stopped supporting it outright?

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Have you ever had an accident whilst playing VR?
I have yet to have an accident while playing in VR. I almost hit stuff with my hands a few times but it's usually a bump and I'm good. I'm very cautious when it comes playing in VR, because I don't want to damage my nephews headset.

Kane99 got a reaction from killamch89 in Do you feel battle passes are just the norm now in games?
Seems like it is. And I think for a free to play game, a battle pass system makes sense. But when it's a $60/$70 game, I don't think we should be paying for a battle pass on top of it. If we do, we should ateast get the first battle pass when purchasing the game at no additional cost and maybe charge us when the next season comes. That imo would be fair to me.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Do you still play GTA V?
I'm all played out on GTA V myself. Can't get into it anymore and if I do I probably play it for a few hours and then eventually get bored of it after a while.
I am ready for GTA VI

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Do you enjoy Dead by Daylight?
I've only played it once and mostly watched streams of it otherwise. It looks like something is get into though. Isn't it free to play now days or am I confusing it with another game?

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in What game would you like to see in VR that isn't?
Most first person shooters or first person games. Like Hitman Blood Money. They already have Hitman 3 in VR, but let's to back even further and make blood money into VR. I'd replay that in VR. Same with Sniper Elite series, but I think one of the newer games is in VR already.
Wrestling games in VR would be interesting.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Among Us in VR
I have not played it, but I think it would be fun. I don't much care for among us, but I'd try it out in VR to see how well it plays.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in What are your thoughts on ads on mobile games? Are they too much?
I get why apps have ads, especially if they're free to play. Of course it is annoying to have to watch a 15-30 sec ad just to play. But usually some apps will let you buy the full game or require pay to remove ads.
Most games I played have had ads, but I don't usually play the games too long anyway.
There are some games and apps that toss up way too many ads. It's like they are trying to get you to just buy the game.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Would you ever go pro win mobile gaming?
Eh probably not. Im by no means a pro gamer, nor am I that good with most mobile games, so I probably won't have much of a chance to go pro as a mobile gamer.

Kane99 got a reaction from killamch89 in Do you feel mobile gaming will get better over time?
It'll get better when companies stop trying to add pay to win to a lot of these apps and games. If you want to level up faster, beat the game faster etc, it'll probably be better to just pay to own the game. Or don't support games with pay to win elements.
If they did what fortnite does with their battle pass, maybe I'd consider more mobile games.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Video Game Live Streaming on TikTok
I have seen people streaming on there for a while now. Didn't know they made it possible to do it from your PC. If so I may actually consider doing some streaming on there to see how it goes.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in How often do you use cloud gaming?
Depends. I use cloud saves and such kinda often, but as for cloud gaming, not so much. I don't like the lag, I feel it's not 100% there yet anyway so will be a while before I can take advantage of cloud gaming.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Do you think free online multiplayer games will become more frequent?
I think so. With the way Fortnite and Warzone have become hugely popular, I can see more multiplayer games coming that feature free to play options. They will probably just copy the method Fortnite does with their battle pass every new season or chapter. I think that is the way to go. You don't need to pay in order to play either, and can still level up. But won't get the other unlocks you would with a battle pass. That's the only way I see things working.
But there are often free games from companies and more. I can see free games being a thing for years to come.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Could you handle being a game tester?
I think the fun comes in from working with these studios and the developers and coders. I think the testing side is a afterthought when most of the testers are probably more interested in seeing how far the game has come and working with other like minded people.
The actual testing side sounds like a chore for the most part. But getting to work close to devs and other team members has to be a great benefit.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Has there ever been a game you have stopped playing because it was too addictive?
I can only think of mobile games. But most of them required you to do repetitive tasks and I think the addiction aspect wained pretty fast when I got bored of the games.
One was this football game that became too easy to play. And I just got bored of winning lol.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in What do you think is the worst pay to win video game?
I don't play anything that's pay to win. It's one to have micro transactions and all that, but when you intentionally have a play to win game, it's really not fun or worth the time.
Most pay to win games fail usually due to fans hating on the idea. As long as micro transactions and other such things don't give you an edge against others, I see no issue with it. But when it gives better items to those who have the money, then it just becomes pointless to play. Especially if it's a free to play game in the first place.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Do you play Paladins?
I have not, but I hear it's very similar to over watch and some said it's too similar.
It's free to play so I may check it out. But I never was into overwatch so idk if it would even like this one. But can't hurt to give it a try soon.

Kane99 got a reaction from Shortie in Do you feel Apex Legends could be a game that dies soon?
Im unaware of how many people still play apex legends, but I can't imagine it coming close to what fortnite it warzone does. I can still see it being somewhat popular among fans, but I doubt the servers are full up or people right now.
