Patrik got a reaction from Gonassis in Ever beat a legit pro gamer?
did many times, was a smooth feeling for couple of secs, worth bragging about xD

Patrik got a reaction from Empire Of Sight in I got a PSP 2000!
Hello VGR,
i recently decided to pick a PSP 2000 because it's one of the sick consoles that i wanted to try since my childhood, i completed Metal Slug XX on it recently and have GTA VCS, looking forward for your games recommendations!

Patrik got a reaction from killamch89 in Is Gaming on Linux A Worthwhile Experience?
not improvement but more support obviously, one of the obstacles why people aren't picking it for gaming up over windows is the lack of supported games and you can only play few titles there

Patrik got a reaction from kingpotato in Things you hate about your favorite games
Just finished playing Crash Bandicoot N'sane Trilogy, and as most of the series fans know, it's so hard and has a weird hardbox, so the game being tough at some levels is what i hate about it, but i still finished it (didn't gather all the gems obviously as that's more challenging and im not that patient)

Patrik got a reaction from Withywarlock in Flying in video games
Flying is an option in lot of games but not that enjoyable experience in many, in GTA games, you can't mention flying without remembering how pain it is (i'm sure you remember the demolition mission from GTA Vice City, Flight school in GTA SA, Stealing mission from GTA IV and fewer ones from GTA V), there is also around 3 missions in N'sane Trilogy (Crash bandicoot) where you have to fly using a jetpack, the controls are super bruh there.
What do you think about it?

Patrik reacted to The Blackangel in Tough games from the past
Two games that I have talked about before come to mind immediately for me. Blaster Master and Legacy Of The Wizard, both on NES. Neither have ever been easy, especially Blaster Master. It's a maze of traveling from world to world, backtracking, riddles, and dumb luck all spawned from desperation that would make the Zodiac Killer proud. MC Escher couldn't have drawn up a more confusing map to any of this. The only worlds that follow in order is Area 1 leads to Area 2 which then leads to Area 3. And there are 8 in total. After you complete Area 3, you're going to lose your mind trying to find the entrance to Area 4. Because it's actually hidden all the way back in Area 1. Kids were constantly calling Nintendo's 800 number going "WHAT THE FUCK?!" because no one could figure the damn game out. I have beaten it, but this is one instance that practice doesn't make perfect. The final boss (Plutonium Boss) is next to impossible.
With Legacy Of The Wizard, 30 YEARS AND I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND BUT ONE FUCKING CROWN OUT OF FOUR.

Patrik reacted to killamch89 in Consoles You Bought
I plan on getting both anyways but the Switch is more readily available and is cheaper so I'll get that first. Besides, I'm planning on getting a brand new TV along with it for my computer room.

Patrik got a reaction from Heatman in Take-Two Canceled an Unannounced Game and It Cost Them $53 Million
nah Hangar 13 is way different than War Drum Studio (newly known as Grove Street Games), it's sort of decent except it comes with weird decisions that kills games

Patrik reacted to Shagger in How much did your PC cost?
I'd be carful with that. If you buy a new than stick that uses a different generation of RAM chipsets, for example mixing DDR3 with DDR4, they will not work together. Also make sure you motherboard can take the extra ram. Every motherboard has limit. Having two different sizes of RAM between your two sticks will work, but it's not the most efficient set up. If it were me, I would take @skyfire's advice and work a little harder then buy two 8GB sticks.

Patrik reacted to Yaramaki in DRIVER
I think you got it all wrong since it's actually the crew that replaced driver, Ubisoft reflections who worked on driver san francisco went on to work on The crew together with ivory tower.
Dude stop bringing up Motogp every time please, i get it you like motogp and if i'm being honest i haven't played a motogp game since valentino rossi the game and that let's be honest it was not that good of a game. I did play all the entries in the Ride series which is from the same people behing the motogp series and all are eh just mediocre games. I even tried my hands at some motorcross games from them and those are laughably bad.
You know moto gp 09/10 back when Capcom still had the license is a much better game then anything milestone has released to date.
Also please start using sentences that make sense, because what you write above is making my head spin.
And one more thing while i'm at it clearly you have not played any watch dogs : Please stop posting shit about a game that you have not played yet, stop jumping on the bandwagon just because someone else isen't into something doesen't mean that you woulden't like it!
Now that that is out of the way please enjoy your day and take care! Peace!

Patrik reacted to killamch89 in Tablets
Just wait a year or two and it'll be 1/3 of the price. Android tablets lose their market value extremely quickly due to the fact that some of the major productivity apps don't run particularly well on Android tablets. I mean, they're pretty fun to use for emulation and other stuff such as playing games but for more serious professionals, Ipad is the way to go (hate saying this but its the truth).

Patrik reacted to Shagger in Think real gambling will come to gaming soon?
Once again, here we are with the same people dancing around in a loop to same points over and over again just to keep the post counts going up. I'm going to keep locking these until you guys learn that these threads are not your personal text chain. Regardless, this thread has run it's course and it's time for it to be locked.
And @Boblee, I'm glad you find this and the harm this is doing to the VGR forum funny...
... but one way or another, this is gonna stop. And if you keep up this level of ignorance and disrespect, I'll come up with an answer that I'm sure you won't find funny at all.

Patrik got a reaction from Withywarlock in What do you do when you encounter a game-breaking bug with no simple workaround?
luckily modding communities exist so patches can be found sometimes easily

Patrik reacted to killamch89 in 8Bitdo creates mouse with NES controller look and feel (2019 article)
It does make a great collector's item the more times that I look at it. The missing scroll wheel in the middle does bother me a bit though.
As far as I'm aware, this is the only model unfortunately.

it's Resident Evil 5 Lost in Nightmares DLC here!

Patrik got a reaction from Withywarlock in Games that end with more questions than answers
in Mafia 2 (and since the game is still uncompleted taking on consideration that 5 complete chapters were deleted before the final release) has a mystery ending with nobody knowing the fate of Joe Barbaro, unless you play Mafia 3

Patrik got a reaction from Knight Plug in 10 years, with no new Silent Hill game...
i love Resident Evil, but outlast makes you visit the toilet in your place without moving a single leg, yet it's not banned, it should be the gore in Manhunt 😛

Patrik reacted to killamch89 in Favourite PlayStation 2 games?
Totally forgot about Burnout as well as Smack Down vs Raw.
Jet-Li Rise to Honor is one of the few beat em' up games I played a lot on the PS2.

Patrik reacted to Knight Plug in 10 years, with no new Silent Hill game...
#FoodForThought
This has been one of the most boring years for me, gaming, or otherwise. Not only did I nearly lose my mum a month ago, I may have to save up five grand for a B.S. civil case, and then thereafter, to get the authorities in bogan land to deal with some Australian fruitcake. It just gets you thinking that it's all a waste of your time. 🤨
Games used to bring me joy. Now I normally complain a lot about how Resident Evil or Silent Hill or something isn't that good anymore. But why is that? Why did it all go downhill over the last two decades?
Could it be, because... IT'S NOT GOOD! 😁

Patrik got a reaction from Knight Plug in 10 years, with no new Silent Hill game...
it's not only Konami 😞 , unfortunately it's how the gaming industry has became, people really demand lot of old decent titles but companies don't care at all (only few does ;( )

Patrik got a reaction from kingpotato in Games where you have to take care of your character's health
there's a toggleable option in ETS 2 too where you have to sleep or you'll start sleeping for couple of seconds in the road with the screen going black for around 2-3 seconds making you crash the game
-
Patrik reacted to kingpotato in Games where you have to take care of your character's health
Earlier today while playing Red Redemption I was feeding my character cause he was hungry, but at the same time I myself was starving cause I had only had a coffee and no breakfeast. 😆
Anyway there is a bunch of games where you have to constantly check your character's well being like making sure they are not cold or hot by having the appropiate clothing like in Red Dead Redemption 2 or Zelda Breath of the Wild or the survival moden in Skyrim and Fallout New vegas where you also have to be carefull with the weather and also making sure of feeding your character and making sure that they get some ingame sleep.
Do you know of any other games like this?

Patrik reacted to Techno in Sony vs. Microsoft
Sony tries to dish out $70 for a game
Microsoft rewards me for playing Xbox, but will buy up a lot of companies.
Since Microsoft gives me free things, I'll call Sony worse. I may have morals, but I throw those away for bribes.

Patrik reacted to killamch89 in Overclocking
That's my go too brand for CPU coolers - I'm never going with a water cooler again. Too many issues when it starts leaking...
