  1. Who here Livestreams? What are the pros & cons? Do you tend to stay in the moment & find that time has slipped by? Are there certain groups you enjoy more than others? While I do play games every now & then, I cannot imagine livestreaming.

  2. I looked this one up. Looks like it has to do with fantasy & magic. I have a question, how gory or deep does the storyline goes? I'd be interested in watching it but while I can take some drama, I honestly prefer easy-going, lighter shows with a bit of a comedy aspect in them.

  3. While I haven't played this one yet, I have seen it around on some forums. If you could, what would you do to improve these mechanics? What would you wish they would do away with? Some people would like to see more fluid movements.

  4. NES is the oldest one we own. My parents may still have an Atari console laying around lol If they do & it’s still in working condition, I’d be curious at how well it plays & if we could find games for it still. While the graphics weren’t the best, it’s the nostalgia more than anything.

  5. This is a Sci-Fi Supernatural drama starring Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, & John Noble. It went on for 5 seasons starting in 2008. Created by J.J. Abrams. It revolves around a parallel universe using Fringe Science. Just like with time travel, bringing people back from the dead, a parallel universe tends to also have plotholes.

My husband & I liked it but just like with most shows, they have to up the Wow factor & sometimes get sloppy with tying it all in together. Regardless, this was a great show to follow. Reminded me of The X-Files. Did you enjoy it? What would you have changed?

  6. Which would you like for them to remove? & why? I used to watch The Olympics years ago & like the gymnastics the best. I'm not an athlete, however I do like fitness & exercise. I can't think of one I'd like to add nor remove. While I don't care for many of them i.e. wrestling, you do have to admit they require a good level of physical & mental ingenuity. I figure the more that's in there, the more it encourages people to be physically fit.

  7. A live action role-playing game is a form of role-playing game where the participants physically portray their characters. Abbreviated to LARP. From what I understand, it’s set apart from cosplay as it deals with performance art rather than visual art. I only heard of this on a recent TV show I watched. So I was wondering who has tried this & what did you think?

  8. I remember having the old Atari & having it hooked up to the TV in our kitchen. Considering it was in the 80’s, it was quite good as a starter. Of course, doesn’t compare to consoles now. When we got Nintendo NES, we found several that were remakes of classic Atari games. They were more fun to play back in the day as now the graphics don't hold a candle to newer games. But, it was still enjoyable to reminisce.

Who remembers the old Atari system?

  9. I've always been a fan of martial arts though I only took a few classes many years ago. It was hard find a place that had good classes that were local. We live rural & I didn't want to travel too far. I have however watched many videos & got a basic idea of what they are about. I prefer to learn Self Defense as I do not want to hurt the other just to hurt, I want to learn to get away from the situation.

Bruce Lee is my all-time favorite martial artist. For those who are familiar with him, check out Ip Man, who was his teacher.

  10. A film trilogy based on the novels by Veronica Roth. The three Sci-Fi Action movies are: Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant from 2014 to 2016. Stars Shailene Woodley & Theo James. Set in dystopian future. Their society is broken into six factions. Abnegation (the selfless), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the honest), Dauntless (the brave), & Erudite (the intellectual). With the sixth one being the Factionless, for those who were cast out.

I found the first & second movies to be quite good, with the third one to be the best yet. Did you watch this series? If you read the books, how did they compare?

  11. Curious: Do people call it billiards or pool? Growing up, we had a pool table & we always called it pool. We also had a swimming pool so imagine being a young kid learning that difference lol While I was not good at it, my parents still have a pool table & we play games on it sometimes when we visit them. Just brings back memories. I don't care to watch it, or any sport really for that matter. I rather be in on the game.

  12. While I've never been to a pub or bar, growing up, we had a nice full basement complete with a pool table where we also put the ping pong table on as well as a dart board. It was always enjoyable as a kid having games to play. While I wasn't that good at darts, I did do my best. Have any of you hit the bulls-eye? I cannot recall me ever doing that. There were times I barely could hit the target lol

That's great to hear about the playing time you had with your mother in the past, and the playing with your husband too. I guess you are still playing with both of them till date?

With my husband, yes. Not so much with my mom as they live an hour away now. But I do make sure we see them monthly & we play board games or just chitchat. Who do you play games with?
