Most of the characters from Terra Formars. Didn't expect to take bugs, crustaceans and other small critters to make really cool superhuman abilities. Eventually lost interest in the story though.
I haven't heard about the video game though but the thread was about video game characters that didn't really look as cool as they were on posters when guy view them on your screen during Game play.

I like when games have at least a simple text chat feature, something that makes it easy to converse with people where you don't have to use voice chat lol. Other than that, I also like when you have a dedicated button for taking clips, and one that will upload to your desired social media platform, or YouTube maybe.
That is a really cool feature that should be added to more online video games.
I Know call of duty has such a feature in their online modes.

It sucks, especially if you had done a lot of work on the games you played. I was really mad when I saw my file gone. I had no idea what happened. I probably searched online about my save file and I think I found news about it.
And then kinda recently my save file for nba 2k on PC disappeared. I had cloud saves as well, but I couldn't access it. Contacted epic games and they were literally no help. So I stopped playing the game at that point and uninstalled it. Also contacted 2k support but they too were no help.
It really sucks when it happens. Kinda feels like you're defeated or something.
Thinking about the times you've spent to make up those saves makes it even worse when you eventually lost the file.
I use an extra hard drive now and I have really important files which I saved in both drives just Incase I loose one of them.

That's actually a good idea. I'd prefer more of a system where I can search a game and say if i own it, am playing it etc. I suppose you could do the same with Excel. And, it's a good way to make a list of everything.
I found I had that issue where I forget a movie I watched and end up re-watching it, so it's a big reason why I joined letterboxd. I'm going to check out backlogery to track the games I own.
I sometimes do forget the names of movies I have watched but I don't forget a video game I have played in the past that easily.
I like the idea of a program that could help you keep track of movies and video games or other media you've seen or played.

I received a demo disc from PlayStation underground one year, and there was a demo of Viewtiful Joe 1 or 2, and if you play that demo, it actually overwrites your save data on any memory cards inserted into your PS2. I had nearly completed GTA San Andreas when my save file was deleted because of this damn demo disc. I ended up replaying the game and used cheats because of how mad I was.
That would have been so devastating , I actually lost my saved PES 6 data when I played on the PlayStation 2.
I think this was my fault I was actually trying to reset my Console and give it a more convenient settings but when I was done I couldn't find non of my saved data anymore.
I just had to start all over again from the beginning.

Back in the day I was a huge fan of the Genesis console growing up. Sadly I didn't have a big collection, and my parents ended up regifting it to my nephew (with my agreed go ahead). I later ended up getting my nephews SNES and just ended up keeping it lol. I also got a used Saturn one year and that was cool, but I didn't have a big collection of games for it. I actually got two Saturns for like $37 or so. Not going to complain about that. I ended up selling one off in box, which I kinda regret doing, but oh well.
But yeah, I'm a fan of the Genesis, and maybe the Sega GameGear, as I remember playing that at a friends house many years ago and thinking it was the coolest thing ever.
Atleast you've personally own a Sega Genesis and you've played a few games on it, the only closest I have come to a Sega Genesis console was anytime I visited my cousins over Christmas.
I would play on the console for a couple of days before we left their place and back to mine.

The texture warping was pretty normal on the PS1. The console lacked texture perspective correction.
The issue was more tied to the console than the game because I played it on PlayStation 2 and the graphics was pretty decent.

Thx for your reply Justin11 and I dont disagree with your opinion, but that could be said for anything in life, not just video games, we all take different things/experience from any situation in life, be it in a video game or a real life situation, that's what makes us all very different and interesting. Some people overthink every situation they face and therefore will probably gain more knowledge or experience from said situation, while others dont put that much thought into things and just live for the moment, so they probably wouldn't analyze things to deeply and wouldn't learn as much from the same situation, that's just the difference of personalities and what makes us all so different.
I think you missed the point I was trying to make, I wasn't trying to say we all play video games to learn, or use them as a learning tool, or that we should take anything we see or hear in a video game to seriously. My point was that some videos games are based loosely on real life situations/conditions and that there has been many times throughout my life where I have known something, or how to do something which I, at first, didn't know where I got said knowledge, only to later realize it was from playing a certain video game, without which I would probably not have known said information! Like I said earlier though, this could also be said for films, tv, or any life experience for that matter, but this post was specifically about video games. Also I was referring to the non gamer people I know, who believe that all games are strictly for fun and mostly for kids. They also believe that there is no useful knowledge at all to be gained from video games, as there is no truth or true to life information contained in them. I didn't mean that gamers who dont learn anything from the video games they play dont appreciate them as much as people who did learn something from them, not at all did I mean that, in fact I dont even know why you would get that impression, as reading back though my post, I dont see anything that would suggest that to be my stance, so if that is the impression you got, I apologize, that was not my intention or point.
But yes bud, I get your point, not everyone will get the same experience from every game, but that's fine we all play games for different reasons and no one reason is more right than another, if the game brings you enjoyment and satisfaction, in whatever form you were hoping for, then the devs have succeeded and your money was well spent! 🙂
My point was on appreciating video games for how much knowledge you can absorb from them, personally I am a testament to how much knowledge you could get out of a video game, I played this game called Dr driving on mobile and it was all about driving and maneuvering and even when I went to get my drivers license done I was already so skilled at driving my instructor felt I didn't need any more lessons.
But in terms of appreciation not every one who has played Dr driving might have derived the kind of knowledge I got from it, so In this case I would naturally tend to appreciate this game more in terms of what I gained than others who might just have had only a good time playing it and nothing really deep.
So that doesn't mean people don't in general appreciate video games in terms of knowledge derived from it but our experiences differ so are our reactions as well.

I haven't played any game off the Ace combat series yet but I am considering starting with ace combat infinity.
What do you think about this release or would anyone suggest I start with a different game.

It's exactly what you saw in it. They had it all copied. It has been a pattern for all 2D beat em ups games during the time of Double Dragon.
That's true, I wouldn't call it copying though because that was a norm for all beat em up games of that time, just like how open world games have same features which included vegetations , buildings and the graphical texture of most open world video games are the same.

I have been playing OlliOlli world on Nintendo switch for a few months now I have also played the OlliOlli world:VOID riders DLC and it was completely fun.
This is now one of my favorite video games on the platform.

I came across this game on gamepass too, I haven't added it to my list yet but glad I found this thread again I would just go back and add road 96 to my list of games I would like to purchase or play later.

Infinity Stones supports are only available by ranking in PvP. We want them to remain rare as a way to reward MPQ's true hardcore fans.
Infinity Stones should be rare that only commemorates the original story line which I think shouldn't be any different in a video game.
I haven't tried the marvel puzzle quests but it sure looks like it going to be worth my time if I eventually try it out or maybe get my nephew who is a big marvel fan on it.

BioShock infinite seems like a more detailed advancement of BioShock and because the story so well eludes the original story line of BioShock and makes a completely different twist to the game, I think this is among the reasons why people who have played both games think they aren't similar or maybe related.

cities : skylines - you are given a fresh plot of land and required to build a city from scratch it is entertaining and could help creativity as well.
Mario kart 8 and Portal 2 are also great for kids any time.
My nephew absolutely loves play cities: skylines.
I think his dad got him the game a couple of months back and this dude has been so hooked to it ever since.

In all that has been said, I feel this is what tries to explain the supposed aggressiveness of the forsworn, the devs wanted a twist and what other way could they raise some kind of controversy if not using the native as a weapon and making them a lot more aggressive than a gang of bandits set to attack.
That's more like it, they just made the natives more aggressive and when you encounter them you wouldn't even expect to be attacked but eventually you are attacked by a bunch of native you would have gladly love to help in battle.

I have been getting the urge to replay Final Fantasy 6 on my PC a lot lately and it seems like I'm going to give in. It's been a while since I've played the game after completing it years ago, so getting into it again doesn't seem like a bad idea.
To be honest I haven't played final fantasy 6 either, I wasn't interested in This game for a longer period so I wasn't even bothered about it.
But I have read a couple of reviews and seen a few gameplay videos and it sure looks really good.
I am considering getting into one of the earliest release of final fantasy instead of starting going back to the earliest release of final fantasy.

I saw a thread about a video game call quake though it's a first person shooter game and not in any way related to this interactive survival horror game but it just reminded me of the quarry maybe because they are almost spelt alike.
I have found a way to play this game and I am considering starting this weekend with a few of my friends.

Or, they could explore some supporting characters from RDR1, like Landon Ricketts who is an old gunslinger you meet in the game that's now retired from the outlaw life. They could choose him as a main protagonist for a prequel-sequel, maybe how he became one of the best gunslingers around.
This would surely be an interesting story to make since he is already retired in RDR2 they could show us his earliest days as a gunslinger and how has his involvement in the gangs changed the course of event over time.

He would I think be a great character to explore. Could be cool if we got to play as a younger Hosea when the Dutch Van Linde gang was just starting up as well.
Playing as a younger Hosea as, this two story could be merged into one.
Anyways whichever way rockstar decides to go I guess we would just be waiting to purchase whatever story or path they choose to go.

Yeah I can see some people taking it seriously. And, I'm not sure whether it's meant to be serious or to be funny or a mix of both. To me it looks too cheesy to be taken seriously, but I don't know if this dev is religious or if he's just making a dumb fun game.
And if it ends up being too dumb, and funny, then that in turn could make some people mad. I think it's meant to be a meme, but I'd have to research the developer more and see if they're serious.
You can't make a Jesus video and you are just trying to make a meme out of it, it has to be something serious imo.
I don't know what the developers had in mind but they should just let this one go if they intend to make it look stupid or just for some dumb fun.

That's really cool, I had no idea she voiced the same character. I wonder if there are any of the other voice actors in the game that make an appearance as their original character
I'm not so confident of her acting skills but she did really well as a voice actor.
So now I am very curious to find out how well she Plays the role of Marlene in the last of us.

It came out today, and had been shipped to reviewers recently as I've seen reviews and videos from gamers streaming it already. So far reviews aren't painting the best picture of it. I'm seeing ratings of 6's, 7's across the board.
IGN gave it a 7/10, Gameinformer and VGC both gave it a 6/10, and has a 76 on metacritic. I mean, it's not bad, but not what fans were expecting I guess.
A 7/10 rating from IGN isn't bad at all as we all know that they can be quite strict with things like this, a rating that High would only mean that the game was good for most part and had only a few deficiencies.

Exactly, they will license pretty much anything that's popular. Which is why it could be easy for Rumbleverse to work with these pro wrestling organizations to add more pro wrestling stuff, characters, etc.
I Know WWE would be willing to give out licence to rumble verse to use their pro-wrestlers characters in their video game build for a good price.

This sounds really cool , I like how they made it easier for both you or the opposing character to die so now you need to be more stealth than aggressive to be able to get past each level.
