Why do I need to game on a large TV if I have a gaming monitor that's worth $1000 😛 My monitor is an 27" Asus IPS 165hz with all the gear that comes with it. PLus TVs are not meant for high speed gaming on them, and FPS will be so bad and time respones just poitless in CSGO games.

Low quality game features, and gameplay full of glitches that slows down the movement of the characters in the game.

Here is an essay on the concept of “ludonarrative dissonance” in games that I found very interesting: http://www.fredericseraphine.com/index.php/2016/09/02/ludonarrative-dissonance-is-storytelling-about-reaching-harmony/
I guess this really bothers a lot of people. Ironically, I feel most of the games that have really impacted me have deliberately featured this dissonance and made it part of the experience, rather than trying to avoid it.
In some ways though, I don’t even get why this bothers people. A gap between what I am trying/want to do and what I can/must do IRL pretty much is the essence of my normal human experience. Life, at its core, features this “dissonance.” When it features in games, to me it actually makes them more lifelike.

Yeah, your personal responsibilities should come first then you can consider games as secondary option and others.

Yeah - I knew right away that's it's a typographical error which is something that anyone can make at any time. I have played RDR2.

Yeah - most people were dead affected by the pandemic of coronavirus and games played a huge part in keeping people from being depressed at home.

I respect your choice buddy, to do it in your own way, find the better option of applying the killer point to defeat your enemies.

I love optional hints, I still figure out ways of improving my gaming experience and play better. But the hints that appears on the screen play it's worth taking because it tells me how I'll apply the finishing touch which gives me an edge over opponents.

Sure, they take inspiration from the real-life scenes recreate them into virtual reality scenes to drag the attention of gamers. It isn't easy doing that, that's creativity at its best.

The developers simply made a game simply base on experiences, and such experiences is what lots of people simply wants to get down with.

Justin11 reacted to killamch89 in How much help do you want from your companions in a game?
I agree - most of the time you have to be babysitting them because they'll get themselves into some kind of battle and be easily killed so instead of them being your bodyguard. It's the opposite way around...

Agreed - they create an experience that most of us can relate to in some aspect or they take inspiration from real-life circumstances and re-write it to fit into their story.

Hellblade certainly increased my empathy for those with mental health troubles. It is nice touch when a game can covey a powerful, helpful and positive message whilst still being a blast to play.

    Well, here is said trailer;

And @Heatman is pointing you in the right direction. Please, whatever you do, do not let your first experience of this game be on PS3. The port is terrible. PC is obviously the best version of any Bethesda RPG provided your PC is up to snuff, but from there Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PS4 are next best options.

You're right buddy. Both the gameplay, and story elements should be superb. I can't play a game in which the story mode is poorly written, or constantly repetitive of few sentences xD.

PES was rebranded to eFootball since this year and from July onwards, you'll have to buy updates every July which is a greedy move by them.

Justin11 reacted to killamch89 in Games with widest gaps between difficulty levels?
Deus Ex Human Revolution also has this issue. On the lowest difficulty, it's ridiculously easy to breeze through the game but bump it up to normal. Boss fights become much harder and the AI is a lot smarter. On the hardest difficulty, even the weakest enemies are giving you a headache and it's super easy to be detected when trying to move around stealthily.

Justin11 reacted to killamch89 in Rank your least favorite developers/publishers
Konami (scum of the multiverse) Take Two Interactive (scum of the universe) Activision (harasses everything in sight) Ubisoft (They do make some good games but their policies, in-game security and other things are absolutely horrid) EA (Your typical money grabbers. They do have some great games but their greed constantly screws them over)

I've been all over and this is by far the least toxic gaming community I know - no toxic fanboys shoving their opinions down their throat and moderators partaking in the crap as well.

You mean on this forum? I bet you can get a better community than this. I have been on many other gaming forums before, but it's the most friendly one. You can share your thoughts, feedbacks here without any hesitancy. That's what I like the most.
