Yes, that's why I am more engaging here, than any other online community due to how peaceful here is. When I need to converse something meaningful around video games I simply come here, because I feel safer here.

It's a great way indeed Stacey, unfortunately for me, my friends aren't Minecraft favorite. I am a Minecraft lover, I love playing around the game when I feel good going into online games.

Since I switched from playing the PS3 version of Skyrim to the free PS5 upgrade of my PS4 edition, I’ve been surprised at how much more immersive and atmospheric it feels. As far as I can tell, this is partly from my mods, but also partly just from the better frame rate and a slightly wider field of view. What technical changes have you noticed can increase immersion in different versions of a game?

Do you play online games to keep up with old friends? I just started playing Minecraft with my high school BFF who lives across the country from me. It’s been a great way to hang out again virtually.

Head_Hunter reacted to Shagger in PlayStation Plus: PS+ Games Update Thread
    Welcome

This is the PS+ Update Thread, a place to keep up to date on the latest offerings from PlayStation's subscription service. This opening post will be updated regularly to show what is currently available for PS+ customers along with details of what dates these games are available.  Full details from PlayStation here. Of course this thread is also available to discuss rumours, games you want to see added and how you feel about the current line up as well as a place to discuss how you feel about the service in general.

So, here are the currently available on on PS+ as the Monthly Games.

    What is PlayStation Plus?
PlayStation Plus is a kind of subscription that grants access to online play, exclusive discounts and access number of games per month across PS4 and PS5 selected by the powers that be at Sony as part of the package. They can also be purchased as shorter terms subscriptions, but these will be a little more expensive per month than the annual cost.

Basically, it's way for these companies to subsidize the running costs of their online services and earn additional revenue at the same time. The "free" games and discounts are basically there to sweeten the deal and make it worth buying.

The service also includes a licence to play online multiplayer, although some games are exempt from this (For example, subscription based MMO's (like FFXIV), but most games you have to be subscribed to these services to play games online. The choice is not yours in what games in included in the package. Sometimes they're superb, sometimes not so much or you may already own them. You only retain the right to keep playing games you acquired through PS+ so long you're still subscribed.

The benefits of the service? The overall cost of the games offered if you were to buy them is significantly higher than the cost of the subscription. Frequently, one month's offering would cost more to buy from the PlayStation Store than the annual subscription, so there is a lot of value to be found in these services.
    PS+ Essential

    PS+ Extra

    PS+ Premium

Any questions or if this thread needs updating and hasn't been then let me know, but please don't do so until these games are available, not when they're announced as the thread will only be updated when the games actually change. Also please check out the other threads we have for Games with Gold and Epic Games Store to stay up to date with those as well. Feel free to keeps using the Video Game Deals to tell the VGR community about other offers you have come across.

Average monthly income was about $1300 in 2021, which might seem extremely low to people from western countries. But it's above average here. Minimum wage is around $450.to put it in perspective.

My grandma was the best and always got me games and consoles.
However, the best gaming gift would have to be a game boy color from my grandmother. That is what made me I realized I like gaming so much.
I no longer have the gameboy but I have fond memories playing it.

We have an Xbox Series S, and @Rain Dew loves it. Me personally, it's ok. I want the disc capable versions of consoles, but the Series S will do until we can get a Series X. With the PS5 however, neither of us are willing to buy one unless it's the disc version. The Xbox Series S is more than readily available here, but unfortunately we haven't seen a Series X anywhere.

I've used ebay since 2004 and never really had any problems bar a few shady sellers who never shipped their items and a few sellers who backed out of a sale because the price was likely too low and for the few items i've sold on there over the years there is always a bad buyer you have to deal with but If you buy something there and use paypal as payment you're fine really!
Lol It's actually the other way around you have more privileges as a buyer then a seller. Ebay almost always sides with the buyer when you file a claim, you can't even leave negative feedback as a seller when somebody doesen't pay for their items.

covid pretty much delayed anything not just games, like i bought a new cough last month and have to wait 6 months for it to arrive.
Same with parcels have a few that have not arrived and it's been like 5 months now, ahwell that's what you get for being a cheapskate and choosing for seamail.

I was crazy about video games in the past, but not at the moment. I've cooled my temper and understand it's simply video games I shouldn't be controlled by my emotions due to frustration that comes from the game.

I enjoy video games because I love playing it, and not for the sake of running crazy for it. I don't entangled myself with such, cos I'm not longer a child so addicted to play.

Sure, I control it so it doesn't affect me in any way. I'm not a grown up, if I don't control my emotions after bizarre gaming time, when will i? Lol, it's simply now.

No metter how I feel bad, being agitated wouldn't help me in either way because I'm doing myself more harm, I am now matured to take gaming as an open way of making fun and not toiling for nothing that isn't real. .

Head_Hunter reacted to Shagger in Game size
As games are made to run at higher resolutions with more advanced graphics (thus, larger textures) with more animations, AI patterns and programming, they're going to take up more space, it's an inevitability of advances in game development. No doubt some publishers are guilty of of being lazy and not compressing games files like they could and leaving in dead code, but I'd say it's mostly about progress in the technology.
