  1. We played the Konami cup too, after choosing your team the system randomly shuffles which team would compete against each other. The prices included more respect and pride among the peer and you would always be allowed to play first with no regards to who was already holding the controller. Lol
  2. In your case you were the deserving champion but in mine I was only trying hard to break the record of the dude. I succeeded that one time and afterwards it felt like the curse was broken and every other player started recording wins against him. Lol I literally broke the losers curse😁
  3. I think this is just like every other competitive activity like the champions league, world cup , Olympics and so on where money or other Prices is awarded to the deserving winners. Cheating is one vice that had been displayed in various levels in politics and even In School examination. If we could work on our values and try to avoid doing the wrong things because of our personal gains not minding who is hurt in the process we would do just fine.
  4. How can you know this much and still say you ain't well attuned with legal matters. 😅🥴 Well, I got enough point to be able to argue extensively with a friend mine who is a practicing lawyer and we've had a similar discussion in the past, though I wouldnt be able to quote the constitution accurately but I would quote you instead. Lol
  5. That's a big no for me, when I started out with cod it was just because I enjoyed first person shooter games so much. The multiplayer mode was just an avenue for me to compete with other players and try out my hands, I was active for about two weeks and only got 31 overall kills, I then focused more on the single player campaign.
  6. I wish I could play well enough to participate in an e-sports competition but right now I suck at it , but I noticed I play much better with the single player campaign but when I switch to multiplayer mode and I am no good.
  7. Cheating in an active e-sports competition with a price attached to it takes away the real purpose why the competition was initiated In the first place. I have noticed cheating in various E-sports MMO'S and it's basically for less competitive gaming , I haven't been in any e-sports competition with a price attached to it but I learnt a lot about the legal tendencies in another thread about e-sports here.
  8. Which of the e-sports games is his stronghold and I would mention someone who could compete with him and beat him to the game. I know the current best players in COD and league of legends.
  9. I never had any big wins I just play for the fun of it , when I first entered cod I had just 21 kills and a lot damages. I didn't play as often as I used to afterwards, but I still play cod in the single player campaign.
  10. We had these mini tournaments on PES where a group of my friends come together and play soccer Games. You just have to pick a team of your choice we make the settings and the system set the fixture anybody that loses is out and the next set plays and so on until there are only two standing champions to compete for the trophy and whosoever wins that match takes the price. It was so much fun at the time and since we were so young Winning meant the world to us.
  11. That's true man, and you actually understood what I felt winning that dude, I was a lot younger at the time and we were always playing this tournaments and for once I was able to come out victorious. I actually avoided playing with that guy for a few weeks so he doesn't take back the championship but when we met after that it was a draw match.
  12. Sorry about my earlier input but I was only commenting based on my misinterpretation of what you intially commented about the issue. I am not well attuned with legal matters and thankful to be able to learn a thing or two from what you've said. Attracting large public Interests doesn't really count and a case in court could go in favor or against you with or without them.
  13. Currently I am no good at COD and I once had a team of four Players, I had only 27 kills others had 21, 17 and 5 Kills with damages above 5000. Lol I haven't played on multiplayer in a while, it would take some time to be able to get back on track with the multiplayer mode.
  14. Call of duty has to be the bloodiest right I know quite a few players that are currently wrecking havoc in the game right now and to be honest I couldn't cope , I had to opt for the single player campaign. League of legends could be a little bit friendly to newbies and veterans alike.
  15. I was about to make a comment on Samus before seeing the comments @Shagger made. Well samus doesn't really need to be voiced and I see that as a true reflection of who she is, been in isolation for such a long time as other metroid dread games revealed and isolation would actually have an effect on someone and how much they talk. And besides there are times when Samus makes a statement and when she does you know it's for a worthy reason. Imo that character is actually okay and enjoyable Just the way it is programmed.
  16. Yeah he did, I brought it up because I felt he did pretty well with COD and he been completely original without trying to sound like or act like someone else. If you watch a lot of Jason Statham movies you would appreciate his originality and how he portrayed himself in that video game.
  17. I have to but I already have a few games I haven't completed yet and getting forbidden west would mean it would have to stay unplayed for a couple of Weeks. So that's the reason for my hesitations. I hate it that I don't have enough time as I did in the past.
  18. If you allow your kids gain access to such contents and then turn around to blame the industry for your failures as a parent. There are different genres of video games and each of them has an age appropriate audience it is meant for, I can't let an 8 year old child play dying light 2 , GTA or games of that sort. They deserve that slap if they do let their kids play such video games.
  19. A child can pick up bad habits from their parents and the things the see or hear them do and that's how it is for virtually everything, this kids aren't dumb they observe and learn. If you allow your kid get access to whatever they like without you first scrutinizing it to check if it is appropriate for them then come back to blame the industry for your irresponsibility then that's absurd. My nephew loves video games though he is just 8 years old and whenever they want to get him a new video game his parent always ask for my advice since they know little about it ,so I just recommend a video game that is appropriate for a child his age and that solves all the drama afterwards.
  20. In the past when I was more interested in learning about a video games , it mechanics , plot and durability than actually playing them, I often take about two or three games and make some research about them. I could remember coming across this video game and its name caught my attention and decided to learn about it. Honestly the game can be boring to those who are in the need of more action but if you love nature and outdoor activities and you want to experience it via a video game then Afrika is a suitable option though not the best. I like the idea and I would like a Simulator made with this same idea to make the experience somewhat realistic and maybe played on VR.
  21. Interesting but I can't actually know why people keep switching between games but for me I play a video game based on my mood and what I feel would be convenient for my state of mind. There are different kind of video gamers which in my own terms I call: 1. The religious gamers who play a particular game judiciously until completion before moving on to the next. And 2. Casual gamers who just gets a bunch of games that feels interesting and play them simultaneously or interchangeably without bothering about which comes first. I hope this helps to clarify a little more why some people are found joggling between games.
  22. Streetfighter and Mortal Kombat are really influential games and up till date my gaming journey wouldn't be complete if I don't mention them, started playing mortal Kombat on PC back in the early 2000's. Metal gear solid also made the list and I would say it's a well deserving inclusion.
  23. You didn't make reference to any game in particular so I don't really understand what you mean by silent protagonist. Some bosses or opponents in quite a good number of games like God of war don't talk only making grunts and noises, protagonists in human characters might make a few interactions with you and even some zombies you encounter in dying light don't make any conversations only coming at you pretty fast to devour you.
  24. FIFA 21 on PlayStation 4.
  25. SOMA Is another Intriguing horror game though I haven't played it but gameplay videos and reviews about it are interesting. It's a game I would recommend and also would like to play too.
