  1. 99.9% of my car accidents have involved me backing out. 😬😝 Mostly in my early 20's. I even managed to back into my own Grandpa's car while he was parked in front of our house. Then there was the BIG one, and no, it wasn't my fault. I was waiting in the center turn lane to make a left and a guy came flying out of a fast food restaurant and hit me head on. Very scary. I remember the moment I knew I was about to get slammed. Dreadful feeling. Air bags hit me hard. I was ok, the other guy was not. I just remember them taking him to the ambulance and his head was bleeding. But he made it. πŸ‘ I was in shock for a few hours, couldn't feel my face. Air bags hurt!
  2. I know some Atheists, I would never discriminate against anyone's personal religious beliefs. I was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school, grade school and high school. I do believe there is a God, or at least a Higher Power, only because I see how this world works, always in perfect harmony, good or bad. Even with the Sun, 🌞 ever notice how it's just close enough to Earth so we can grow crops and obtain Vitamin D, yet not too close where we would all burn alive. That right there, is an intentional work of Art. πŸ˜‰
  3. ALL 90's baby.. and not just (early) 90's rock -Cinderella, Motley Crue, Damn Yankees, Scorps you name it. I mean other genres as well. I love Duran Duran, Beastie Boys, Soul Asylum 🎢 Runaway Train never goin' back... 🎢🎢 So awesome 😎
  4. Has anybody ever tried this app? I totally forgot about it.. I tried it out at the beginning of summer. I thought it would give me something to do to relax before bed. NOT! This game is f-a-s-t. They have timers going and everything. I heard you could earn real money with this game, but to be honest I never saw any (real) cash adding up the whole 2 weeks I was doing it. If anything, Blackout Bingo made me a little too wired πŸ€ͺ😳 than tired. Like I said.. fast-moving game. Lots of fun, though. Anybody have any luck with BB? Did you win actual money? I never made it up to that level.
  5. No, but I know they not only have standing desks (for gaming, work, etc.) but also "exercise" standing desks that have elliptical pedals at the bottom where you have no choice but to keep your legs moving while working .. or playing. Haha I would probably pass on that one. I'll just take a break and go out for a regular walk. 🌳 Too distracting doing 2 things at once, don't you think?
  6. As a current sufferer of motion sickness (one elevator ride keeps me swaying for the rest of the day) 😣 I'm thinking I probably wouldn't do too well with it. But I do wonder if VR could become so popular in the future that people will become less and less in touch with reality, almost as a constant escape. The more and more that happens, the less people will feel like interacting with real people in the real world. In a way, becoming more socially withdrawn, unknowingly. In general, I've noticed people's interactions in stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. seem a little short and distracted. People don't really "talk" all that much anymore, well, not as much as they used to. Just a slight observation..
  7. Whoahh VERY NICE. And that was just about the first think I was gonna say - it looks comfortable. Yet, supportive at the same time. No neck aches or back problems with this baby ^^ Great choice. Love the colors. β™₯οΈπŸ–€
  8. I have both, too. Hotmail from many, many years back but I've kept it. I have certain friends still connected to it. Gmail is good too. I have a few Gmail accounts that go with separate categories, (mostly work stuff) and then I have a couple accounts for more current friends and Twitter sign-up.
  9. I am still so in love with this show! I know it's from the 90's so I guess it's considered an oldie but I'd forgotten how funny it was. Here in Michigan, they air it on the Channel Logo late at night, from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. and you can bet I watch at least the first couple at 3 until I nod off. Karen is hilarious. πŸ˜‚
  10. Great Expectations is my all-time fave and it always will be. It was released in 1998 in theaters, but I didn't get to it until the year 2000. I was hooked, kept renting it from Blockbuster. At one point, they politely asked me to return it and give others a chance. Haha! Why was I (and still am) so drawn to it.. I think I relate to one of the main characters, Estella. Great film, highly-recommend.
  11. For some reason, my high school forgot about the 10-year πŸ˜‚ so we ended up having a "13-year reunion".. none of my old cheerleader buddies wanted to go. But I really wanted to, so I ended up going with my uncle. Yep, that's right.. my uncle was my date. And it gets better, the reunion was at an outside park, there were only about 12 people that showed up, and I was the only girl. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Good times
  12. I can tell you Pet Buddies (formerly Petville) is all about a stray animal, give or take.. only you are in charge of taking care of it, all while earning points which = gold coins. With these coins, you get to decorate a home for the animal by purchasing items in the stores, furniture, clothing, etc. I've always had one main room, looking exactly like my bedroom, and then the rest: ALL outdoor scenes. It's a great game, highly addictive. One of my outdoor winter scenes. (This is actually supposed to be a room.) haha
  13. Hey all, I am new to the site and just wanted to say hello. This looks like a really fun community. Hope to see ya around the boards!
