    No we don't. We believe in women's rights, and bodily autonomy. You can not, and will not tell someone what they can do with their own body. You might as well dictate what their hair looks like. North Korea does it. Move there. You're obviously of the same mindset as them. Go worship Kimmy. Maybe you can lick his asshole clean. Hell, he invented the hamburger, so they obviously have great food over there.

    The point is that you want to dictate a woman's rights. You place women beneath you. You're a chickenshit misogynist. And I'm really getting sick of it.

    What about the baby?  Once the baby is born nobody cares about the woman's argument if there is a "death" or "abuse" of the baby.  What should it be the difference before it's born?  Women should have full rights to do what they want with their own body, assuming there's no other body forced to be dependent on it.

    That is the laziest answer and just has a robotic feel to it. Your answer is that an unborn fetus's life should take precedence over the mother's life?

    I believe in respect for human life to the utmost degree.   Anyway, if a baby's umbilical cord wraps around the baby, the odds are the baby dies and the mom lives.   That's what it seems like.   In that case, the mom isn't to blame.

    Well for starters the window where a fetus can be aborted ends at 24 weeks, LONG before the baby is actually born.  So I'm a little confused as to exactly when in your mind this transition period between the fetus having rights and having none actually should be.

    It starts at conception. It's either an equal life or it isn't.

    On 2/20/2022 at 2:27 PM, Crazycrab said:

    Even if we were to accept the rights and life of the fetus why do they override the rights and life of the mother that actually has feelings?  It's still a hypocritical and disgusting point of view and I make no apologies for calling it out for what it is.

    It's because the fetus is a life equal to the mom.

    Like @kingpotato said earlier they will defend to the the death the rights of a non-sentient fetus but don't give a fraction of shit about the rights of the one that's pregnant with it.  Instead they slut shame and insult them for having sex out of wedlock an not using the contraception their against.  They don't make any exception for victims of rape either and Christian hospitals will even refuse to abort even in cases of Ectopic Pregnancies where the fetus cannot survive and the patient's life is in immediate jeapordy.  So much for fucking "pro-life"!

    These are freak cases like with fetuses that are highly deformed way beyond Downs Syndrome or something.   Well, that's a touchy subject, but we should try to preserve life as much as possible and a better solution is for irresponsible people to avoid pregnancy.

    The problem is that pro-choice people want to throw monkey-wrenches into the argument.

    You try to say you endorse leaving people alone, but you only agree with leaving them alone if they follow your close minded ideology. You are happy to try to control others an tell them what they can and can not do with their own bodies, but you say people should leave people alone.

    Which is it Mr Bigot?

    If the baby is totally equal to the mom in value, then what argument is there?  As I said, you either agree it's a life or you don't.   After that point, arguments are pointless.  I'm sure other debating topics are like that too, but many are more compromising.

    That's very hypocritical coming from you. Over the past three months or so you preach constantly about what you think people can and cannot do with thier own bodies. Even worse, it's on a gaming forum, when you hardly ever post about gaming at all. You seem to be all about pushing your own social/political views and ignore any challenge to them. Unless they agree with you 100%, people are beneath you and not worthy of your attention. That's why that statement is hypocritical. You want people to let you believe what you want and respect your point of view, but you're not willing to offer the same respect in kind. That's why so many of our members are annoyed with you. It's not your opinions that piss people off, it's the lack of respect you show to people that challenge those views.

    People are not beneath me and not worth the attention.  I only stopped arguing because what I explained to @The Blackangel.

    Yes, this is a gaming forum, but there are no rules on where to post specifically.

    I know all about being talked down to, I get it all the time from my family.   Basically, your seen as a child or prisoner.  However, that's not my idea to dehumanize anyone on here.

    It was you that created these threads in the first place! And you started multiple threads because you didn't want to deal with the challenges to you point of view that being brough. You felt that by starting a new thread you could avoid the questions you didn't want to answer. We are not that stupid and cannot use that as an excuse and expect to get away with it. This is just another pathetic excuse to duck and dodge the challenges to your point of view.  Grow up and start behaving like an adult.

    Some questions cannot be answered.   One answer negates all the opposing comments, but yes, I should have figured that out and not came in the debate.

  6. I don't get why Russia cannot be a democracy like Germany.    Why do you all feel there is such an obstacle to it?  Well, officially Russia is a democracy and at least for a long time it has been open to the world, like China. I mean, Russians can leave, foreigners can visit Russia etc.

    The reason people hate right wingers is because they're ignorant, intolerant, extremist bigots that commit terrorist attacks against their own country and get off scot free. They manipulate, deceive, and make up false facts to push their agenda, while trying to daemonize people they know nothing about. They're the scum of the earth.

    My own view is the left and right need to leave people alone.   People's private lives should be just that with the exception of abortion and some other things.  I mean, I'm not interested in "Sunday school at public school".   Are the parent's that lazy, they can't raise moral children?

  8. The deep south I think isn't like the mid-south.  There is a lot more bigotry there, probably, among both races.  I remember, someone in my family noting that in Mississippi in the 80s or 90s maybe, blacks and whites didn't hang together.

    Now as for Republicans in ALL of the south being bigots, I can't really say how bad it is, but I think toward the deep south it would be worse.  I just don't see a lot of hate around here, despite Confederate nostalgia.  Anyway, it's worth noting that the Appalachian regions of the south were divided on the Civil War.  West Virginia even became their own state due to Union loyalty.

  9. I wouldn't have them around any kids honestly.  It may seem wussy to some, but hey, there would be big regrets if something happened.  Anyway, no they shouldn't ban them, but it's very unwise to have them around kids.

  10. I'm assuming this is the correct thread.  Anyway, this debate is dead in the water.  I can't answer opposing points, because they simply don't accept that an unborn baby is a life equal to a newborn.   However, if someone else wants to come on here, they're more than welcome, but it would lead to the same thing.

    Anyway, I think perhaps someone will come with some compromising abortion argument, but it doesn't make any sense.   It's like when Lincoln argued that the Union should either be all slave or all free.

  11. Gosh, what an idiot.  Well, there's always a cuckoo in the bunch!    Well, then I suppose, after that we gotta figure out who qualifies as what, maybe use the "one drop rule", lol.

    Oh, Mississippi was brought up.  Oh, well, they're not on a modern page that much.  I hope here in southern Appalachia it isn't the same among Republicans, but considering the Confederate nostalgia, maybe so.  Anyway, I haven't seen anyone pick on interracial couples and plenty of them are at Wal-Mart.  You see them very often.

    Republicans also made it illegal for college staff to have any form of cultural training with staff. When you have universities that are very diverse, and people go there from all walks of life from different countries, even exchange students, you have to know how to interact with them. To ban that kind of training is absurd. Everything from medical students, dietetics, to business, law, and most things I can think of including teaching itself, requires a cultural understanding. But republicans want to demonize cultural understanding as part of their war on critical race theory. Let’s see how far republicans go on their college attacks.

    sue-check

    mandatory survey-check

    ban cultural training-check

    What’s next…

    People are always free to understand other cultures on their own dime and time.

    Anyway, as another thought, some church "fuddy duddy's" want church in every area of life - enforced by the government.   Democrats have a right to see the hypocrisy.

    Here's an idea.   Why don't people leave cultural understanding and religion as a private matter?

    You don't know what the hell you are talking about and trying to say the extremist left and pushing agendas while in real life the right wing goes to school board meetings and insults gay students, one girl was crying and there is a video of it; right wing parents have physically assaulted students. A grown man physically attacked a female student for christ's sake. They are extremely hostile at school board meetings and even are training on how to storm those meetings. They send death threats to school boards and staff; school board members had their homes vandalized; militias like proud boys and people's rights stormed a school board meeting; All you have to do is a search on the web on the attack of public schools and all sorts of things come up what the right wing is doing. Then trump just recently says "lay down their lives" in reference to fighting CRT.

    Here is a link from what I mentioned earlier how a far right group of moms was infiltrated and how they spoke of bounties and monetary compensation to go after teachers.

    And finally, why would republicans pass bills to make it illegal to talk about amendments of the constitution in schools? All these amendments are now illegal to discuss in the TX bill: 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, and 26th amendments. Or history like the civil war, civil rights, women's suffrage etc.?

    All these things is now illegal to discuss in Tx schools and note that you can't even say the KKK is morally wrong:

     *writings of George Washington; Ona Judge; Thomas Jefferson; Sally Hemings; any other founding persons of the U.S.; Frederick Douglas's Newspaper; Northstar; Book of Negroes; Fugitive Slave Acts of 1793 and 1850; Indian Removal Act; Jefferson's Letter to Danbury Baptists; William Still's Underground Railroad Records;

    *Historical documents related to the civic accomplishments of marginalized populations; Chicano movement; women's suffrage and equal rights; civil rights movement; Syner Act of 1924; American Labor Movement;

    *History of white supremacy, including but not limited to the institution of slavery, eugenics movement, Ku Klux Klan, and the ways in which it is morally wrong

    *History and the importance of the civil rights movement; MLK Jr Letter from Birmingham Jail; I Have a Dream Speech; federal Civil Rights Act of 1964;

    *Brown vs Board of Education; Emancipation Proclamation; Universal Declaration of Human Rights; 13th 14th and 15th amendments of the constitution; Frederick Douglas Narrative of the Life; An American Slave; Life and Work of Cesar Chavez; Life and Work of Dolores Huerta;

    *History and Importance of the Women's Suffrage Movement; Federal Voting Rights Act of 1965; 15th 19th and 26th amendments of the constitution; Abigail Adam's Letter Remember the Ladies; Works of Susan B Anthony; Declaration of Sentiments; Life and Works of Dr. Hector Garcia; League of United Latin American Citizens; Hernandez vs Texas;

    So please stop your lies and bullshit when it is your team fascist USA that is the extremists pushing agendas and it's all in the proof of bills they are passing, unlike your nonsense claims. It's all in the bills, all in the bills, all in the bills. You can't lie or deny when it's all in the fucking bills. Can't discuss the USA constitutional amendments? How anti-American are you people???

    This stuff needs to be left alone.  Well, if people really want to change things, then why can't the parents change?  For instance, as long as they back white chauvinism, and that's what this is really about, nothing changes.  There's no reason for the glamorization of racial oppression, a lot fueled by the "lost cause" narrative.

    Anyway, I remember Roots being shown in school (I'm from southern Appalachia.) and it seemed like kids ignored it or mocked it.   You can't change kids taught bigotry and indifference at home.  Indifference might be the fact they're more interested in "teenie stuff" then real things and can't even locate things on a map.

    Basically, touchy subjects should be a private matter and it's just a shame parents won't come to the plate.

    Generally every church believes they are  the only way, maybe Buddhism doesn't make that claim, but I'm not sure. For thousands of years religion was the main cause of wars. And nationalism is akin to religion too, think on that.

    This maybe off topic, but being an anti globalist is essentially the same as being pro-war.

    Not so sure of that.   Baptists, Methodists and Presbyterians don't believe you have to attend their denomination specifically to go to heaven.

    Religious wars might have been more about overreaching government power and how people were resisting.

    I don't get what you mean by anti-globalist.   Anti-globalist ranges from white supremacists to the anti-abortion crowd to anti-neo-con Republicans.

  15. How do you feel about bad grammar?  Well, I made a mistake today.  I said, "Does it run good?".   The correct saying is "Does it run well?".   Anyway, I don't take too much mind to grammar, I suppose neglecting it provides some kind of regional flavor or something, lol.

  16. Please tell me what you can.  Is it a laptop or desktop?   How new is it?  Does it still run well?  Do you have anti-virus and anti-malware on it?  How much did you pay for it?  How much memory does it have?

  17. What are some you like?   How long have you liked them?   What caused you to discover them?   Anyway, has anyone set up their own page?   How popular has it gotten?   What are your plans for it?

    What are the most popular gaming channels?

  18. In South Korea, these are as common as gas stations in the US, lol.   Anyway, you can play games, smoke (most have non-smoking sections), eat, and they are 24 hours.  Of course, with Covid going on now, things might be different, but that was the situation back in the 2000s.

    Anyway, these haven't caught on in the US and other western nations.   Why do you feel it hasn't?  Now, another thing that hasn't caught on is hot tub houses, lol.

  19. Which do you buy?  Do you buy both?  What motivates you to buy a certain way?  Myself, I used to buy used mostly due to the price, but occasionally I'd buy something new - if it was something I really liked especially.
