  1. Deep down I prefer physical simply cause I grew up in a physical pre-digital age where you'd still buy games on CD-ROM's and such, and that's always what will feel real to me. But lately due to space concerns I've been reluctantly getting more and more games digitally.
  2. I own one of the Flashback consoles. It's alright but not what I would call the same thing as playing an actual Atari VCS.
  3. No. I don't think so. With games like Doom 2016 selling more copies because of its single player campaign than its tacked-on multiplayer and games like Wolfenstein II, The Last Of Us and such still doing well despite having no multiplayer at all, I don't think single player games will die out any time soon. Heck, single player games have been dominating the indie scene for a solid decade now with games like Undertale, Shovel Knight and Five Nights At Freddy's gaining extreme praise for their storytelling and gameplay despite no multiplayer. People who say single player games are not doing well are either not doing research or just misinterpreting Call of Duty sales for people who buy the games for multiplayer only.

    Mass Effect Andromeda on PC.
  5. In my opinion I think they are making a mistake not allowing crossplay. A large reason is that yeah, you might miss out on more sales but on the other hand... say you have a PS4 and no gaming PC and have friends who play on PC. Are you going to spend a fuckload of money to buy a PC and then the game just to play with them? No, if you can you'd buy the game on your PS4 and play with them. It wouldn't hurt sales at all.
  6. Considering I have all the games from my childhood and can play them any time I want I don't really relate to that "games I wish I could play again" feeling. Other than ODT I think, that game refuses to work on modern Windows.
  7. PC gamer, yo I do play a fair bit on my PS Vita though.

  9. In my experience it's largely a habit question. People sometimes prefer a controller to a keyboard and mouse, or they prefer a couch compared to a gaming chair. In my opinion consoles and PC's are pretty much becoming more and more indistinguishable nowadays anyways so the whole question of consoles vs PC is becoming more and more ridiculous to even ask.

    Good stuff. 🙂
  11. Since when was PC less popular? I get the feeling it's never been more popular than now. But if it was less popular I would assume it's because of convenience and habits. A lot of people prefer gaming on the couch which can be difficult with a desktop PC.
