I merged these two topics as they are about the exact same thing. We don't need two separate threads when they are talking about the same thing at the same time.

As for Stadia, who gives a shit? It was a joke from the beginning.

I wouldn't call it a joke, more like a product before its time. Not everyone had the internet to run this service, and it lacked any decent games to pull in those who did have it.

I would choose one of the best in Final Fantasy Series between Cloud Strife and Sephiroth. The fued between them both and their battles was impressive by all standards.

This, you don't realize how deep it is until you start playing other games showing it.

The Xbox version will only have the single-player campaign which makes no sense because most people enjoyed the split-screen multiplayer aspect of the game. I think they should've added that to both versions.

I think the 360 version of perfect dark is to blame for that, I heard online play for that was pretty dead. But if popular enough on Nintendo, I could see MS bringing online play.

lol they aren't going to scrap the game because of a leak, that would be crazy. I'd maybe understand if it was very, very early in development, but this is way ahead of that. It's possibly close to being finished. There's clearly some work to be done, but I think we're much closer to release than we first thought.

It wouldn't make sense to do it, but a company would if most of the game along with its source code was leaked as that would be loss of marketing and security for game to not be hacked. I recall half life 2 being scrapped at 80 percent completion due to such a situation.

I wonder if they will let you get cremated with the games as well. I don't know if that's something they would allow, but could be worth checking into. 😄

I don't think I'd be buried with the games anymore, instead I'd probably hand down the games to a family member instead.

I mean you wouldn't want them with you when turn to ash, but stuffed into the urn afterwords.

It wouldn't make sense for the PS3 considering it's still a bit fresh on our minds. As well, it would need hardware similar to a PS3 and I doubt Sony would want to go that direction. I imagine it would be pretty costly as well. So it just isn't practical. It's a lot more practical to just re-release the games on the PSN marketplace.

Eh, PS3 seems like ages ago now that PS5 is finally taking over, but we do need to see some love for PS2 one of these days.

You're probably right. I think it mostly works best for retro consoles anyway. Once you hit the generation with the PS2, things start to get murky with the licensing, plus probably the hardware needed to make it work properly. They clearly had their issues with the PS1 classic, so maybe it'd be best to not do anything later. There's no chance a PS3 classic would ever be made.

PS3 classic wouldn't be cost friendly in any way, plus emulation would surely be a nightmare as well. Hopefully the new online service gives us all the old PS3 games playable.
