Yea it can be tough but its best to try and not get in your own head about it (easier said than done I know).  As soon as you start thinking about messing up it makes it more likely that it will occur, you psych yourself out.  Sometimes I will pause before a big fight, take some deep breaths, remind yourself verbally (out loud) to be calm, take it slow, be patient, speak your general strategy out loud to yourself.  Then when you resume focus on the game and your gameplan, nothing else.

I think it helps that they are literally bugs, but the Pikmin universe has some good ones...

The other thread I think was 'how has gaming influenced your real life' so yeah, very similar.
My answer is pretty much going to be the same - I learned a lot about skating boarding, which was a fixture of my early teens through Tony' Hawk's ProSkater.
The other thing though, The Sims taught me about a bit of economic management. So that's fun.

Actually yes, add this to my list as well.
I skip intros and cut scenes as a matter of routine. I mean, maybe if I am really invested I'll watch them - but I'm rarely invested in a game to that extent.
If I wanna kick back and watch something, I have NetFlix.

I place 0 stock in Halloween, I'm actually avoiding a Podcast this month because they won't shut up about it. 😛 (Looking at you, Stuff To Blow Your Mind.)

Yeah, The Parapod is a really good podcast! It's mostly non-fiction and based on real-life stories. It's made up of two guys with really good chemistry. One guy really believes in the paranormal and the other - his best friend - doesn't believe at all. It's a nice mixture of pragmatism, humour and the paranormal. Check out the first episode and I'm sure you'll know if it's for you or not after that! Listening to it around Halloween is timely, too:)

So true. And yeah while I enjoy all of the games, Curse will always be my favourite in terms of writing.

Escape From Monkey Island had it's moments - but it definitely is a step back.

The first two, were certainly nowhere close to as well done as Curse though. I mean, Curse has Murray - and Murray is golden.

Mine is a bit lame, but whatever. It is what it is.
Playing Retail Tycoon on Roblox with my daughter last year we built this major department store. Raking in the millions, no skipping steps, no payments, no cheats.
We tried to load it one day, somehow it'd been deleted.
I kind of call conspiracy though - I think Roblox weren't happy we'd maxed everything out organically rather than buying their stupid short cuts.

The only one I can think of, embarrassing as this is - I kind of took up skating as a teen due to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. 😛
This made me a few friends, I've had some falling outs and haven't skated in about as decade (probably more...Actually definitely more.)
So, I guess that had an impact at one point.
