  1. Which phone provider service are you with? How much do you pay monthly and in return, what do you receive? Tesco give me 3GB of data, 500 minutes and 5,000 texts all for 10 pounds a month which is a good deal! As a mobile gamer, I don't really need a lot of mobile data as most of the mobile games I play are offline. What about you?

  2. If your registered with the reward system through Microsoft Reward System, you earn a point mostly. Once you have the required amount, you can choose to redeem them for a Gift Card, Sweepstake's, or donating to a charity. Find out more here if your interested in being part of the program. I stopped using Bing Rewards a while back now, I'm more of a Google Fanboy as I find it's easier to navigate and it took a very long time to cash out for a Gift Card.

  3. Ever experienced an issue accessing Xbox Live and you've wondered whether it's just you or the downtime is affecting other gamers? Look no more. Firstly, you'll be able to view the Live Service Status which gives you a live update every couple of minutes. If you have any questions to what I've said in this topic, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help out.

  4. I constantly find myself accidentally dropping my phone and in the past this has lead to a cracked screen, or even worse a cracked or broken phone. Personally, I only make a mistake once and I've learned by it. I have a Glass Tempered Screen Protector along with a hard back case. Both have done the charm and a couple of times now I have dropped the Huawei, whilst walking out in the street and there has been no damage whatsoever. Do you have any phone protection? Phones for Mobile Gaming can be very expensive to replace or repair.

  5. I don't know about you but I always forget to charge my phone as I find myself playing mobile games in bed until the charge runs out. When I wake up, I realise I have no time as I either have work commitments or studying to attend to for my Maths and English exams. Personally as an addict mobile gamer, I discover that most applications take huge amounts of battery to be able to process the information. As an alternative to replacing my phones battery, I noticed a cheaper way is to invest in a portable phone charger which has worked out great for me. It charges my Android twice before I even have to re-charge the powerbank. This comes in handy whilst I want to kill some time playing Mobile Gamers, such as GTA.

  6. First of all, I'd like to say a massive thank you to all the active members here contributing towards the forum. It's not jealousy but I feel as a community, we are getting to a stage where the point system is starting to inflate and the for the goods and services are starting to become a higher demand, for example in the Auction Area. One way I can see we as a forum can prevent the monetary system from inflating anymore is for the VGR Team Members to make users are doing the following:

    1. Removing trash posts (Posts which don't add anything to topics, instead just repeating what's already been said by another member).
    2. Ensuring post quality is at it's highest which can also help the forum's SEO

Just my two cents, some of you may agree, or disagree or have different ideas.

    Discord

Just a quick question for all you Discord Users out there, do you prefer to use the installed application or the web browser and why? Internet browser for me as I find crashes, bugs or glitches tend to happen less frequently. In Addition, it's easier to turn of notifications in Google Chrome just by taking a small visit to your privacy settings and choosing which websites you would like notifications from. I don't have to go to any hassle to turn them of manually in Discord by using Chrome.

  7. To find the Night Light settings in Windows 10 - Press the Start Button - Search for "Night" and then click on the result and you should see a page like the image I've included below. As a gamer, I constantly find myself gaming in the evenings/night as I have work and study commitments during the day. Studies have shown screens which emit blue light can drastically affect your sleep pattern so therefore I have chosen set the configuration to when the sun sets and rises. It's definitely helped me get to sleep quicker and wake up feeling more refreshed for a new day. Are you doing the same or do you choose to manually switch it on and of if so, why?

  8. So many gamers happen to drink Energy drinks everyday these types of refurbishments are linked strongly to gaming. As a gamer, do you drink which give you energy such as Red Bull or Monster? If so, how many do you have during your typical session? I don't drink them whatsoever as if your body is telling you that your tired, then you should go to be and get a goods night rest and start gaming after you woken up?  They're proven to cause harmful affects to the health of humans, including liver damage.

  9. Who here at VGR Forums has ever entered a gaming competition? Even better, has anyone won a contest, if so what did you win? I've participated in countless competitions but I've never won. I guess it's just my luck.

  10. Whether you are using the App or Play Store, have you ever requested a refund, if so what was the reason why? How much did you originally pay and was the refund successful? I once had to scroll through my order history and fill a refund request form for an album I bought from the retailer as the quality was awful! They gave me the full amount back within a few hours and the £9.99 was credited back into my Play Store Account for future purchases.  I've never experienced any problems with games downloaded through the Play Store

Sounds like a very interesting but at the same time, it sounds like a grind fest to upgrade those sharks. It is an increasingly popular tactic by game developers to basically force you to spend money to receive the upgrades quickly.

Your right there, that's how the rich become richer and the poor become poorer. Have you ever played this mobile game? If so, what's the best shark you have as of today? Are you inspired to give it a try based on the information in my original post? It's definitely a fun game aslong as you don't get hooked into spending money every 5 minutes.

  12. When you are surfing gaming discussion boards or other gaming websites, what do you mostly surf the internet with and why? A laptop for me.  I use a computer as I find it easier and quicker to type with a keyboard as I know where all the keys are located without looking down.

  13. Google+ has confirmed they will shut down on April 2nd. How do you think this will affect the gaming community, will it have any impact whatsoever? I had this email from Google not to long ago confirming they will close the social media platform. The closure may slightly affect community owners and along with the members in the gaming groups but I can't say it for definite whether the change will drastically impact a gamers life. It's hard to tell.

  14. Nowadays you have to be really careful to who you share your personal information with online as a hacker can build up a profile against you and potentially use it to take out loans, credit cards or impersonate you for their benefit. Whilst gaming, do you use your real name or nickname? What sensitive info do you share with fellow gamers, if any? I use the same nickname posting on discussion boards as I do when gaming online. I don't give any of my personal details to any strangers online even if they seem legit and are on my team, it's not worth taking the risk.

  15. If your a YouTuber like myself, what camera do you use to make your videos? Most of the time I either use my built in Camera on my Phone or Computer to record Vlogs. I'm planning to purchase a high-end video camera for my local superstore, Currys PC World when my channel has over 5,000 subscribers.

  16. I use Apowersoft. It's free to use and there are no ads, watermarks, or anything else that could be considered intrusive. I don't know about you, but when I want to record my content I don't want a watermark in the corner ruining the video and in return, distracting the viewers from the video and objective of the video. Content creators, what do you all use to record your screen and why?

  17.  I have Windows Movie Maker, it's free to use. It really depends on the type of video, for example a complication can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to create and put together. Generally speaking, any other video made will take maximum two days for editing and rendering. I'm looking to get something more advance than Windows Movie Maker for my YouTube channel as I want my content to look more professional and unique, what would everyone recommend for me? I've posted a lot of topics recently about editing and finalising videos on media sharing platforms as I'm curious to know. How long does it usually take for you to edit and then render videos? What software do you use, is it paid or free?

  18. I have a question for all of the content creators at VGR Forums. No doubt about it, to edit and finalise a video you need an excessive amount of RAM to process the information. Personally, I have 8GB of Ram and this isn't enough for what I need it for.  I'm considering to upgrade to 16 gigabytes as it's struggling to undertake editing processes, let alone have other tabs open in the background. What RAM do you have for editing and has anyone here ever experienced issues with rendering? What do you think I should do?

  19. I'm not skilled in computer programming so I've been considering to hire a freelancer to help create me and upload a Mobile App to the Play and App store. Their is so much competition nowadays, I'm unsure what genre of Application would succeed and do well. Has anyone here built a game before, if so was it successful? What genre of video game would you recommend to me as a first?

  20. Who else here has played this mobile game in this past? It's free to download and comes with amazingly well designed Graphics. With the ability to purchase new sharks, it's got a great concept to it. My only complaint about the video game is the amount of points you would have to acquire before you can upgrade. Playing the video game for several months, I managed to acquire a Megalodon. I was tempted to purchase upgrades and micro-transactions in the in-game store, but I resisted and this gave me a reason to keep on playing Hungry Shark

  21. I've never understood why companies such as Microsoft and Sony charge their customers to play online. Personally, I believe Microsoft and Sony are generating enough revenue from selling consoles and computer games. Users shouldn't be charged to play with friends. What's your view?

  22. List all of your devices that you currently own for the primary use of Gaming. Out of the list that you have mentioned, which has to be your favourite and why? My favourite has to be the computer as it's a larger storage capacity and a wide selection of computer games are available for the Laptop.
