Alexander. got a reaction from killamch89 in Will we see less and less games release on the Xbox One and PS4?
Yes. Like previous platforms, we'll see a very downward trend and eventually they'll stop making titles for such consoles years down the line. Just like the Xbox 360, video games are no longer being produced for this platform. This forces gamers to upgrade their console to the later version resulting in profits to the big companies.

Alexander. got a reaction from killamch89 in What company is the most corrupt in the gaming industry?
Everyday, gaming businesses are increasingly becoming corrupt. Large corporations such as EA, Ubisoft, and Blizzard are only a few companies who are destroying their games with micropayments or premium material that should actually be in the game.   It's a real shame.

Black Friday is definitely going to be different this year. Many of the shops in England are closed due to the Lockdown that was implemented with the increasing rise of COVID cases & deaths. So, we'll see a lot of people making their purchases online and grabbing bargains through online marketplaces like, Amazon.

I remember growing up playing Flash Games, and even to this day, I will occasionally sit down and enjoy a session. My favourites are Space Invaders, Free Rider HD, and Tetris. On the other hand, technology and the gaming industry is evolving at record speed, and new titles are being released with updated tech. Flash will and has been replaced.

Alexander. got a reaction from Crazycrab in We talked about 1st person and 3rd person. What about SECOND person?
@Shagger has hit the nail on the head, as to why this wouldn't work out in a game title. Some videos on YouTube have explored this concept to give other gamers the chance to experience the sight of second person gaming. Personally? I would always stick with 1st, and it makes aiming at your opponent far easier.

Alexander. reacted to Crazycrab in 8gb ram still worth?
Sorry but you're wrong.  Modern games, even massive, system hungry, full boar and roar, AAA budget, open world, high graphical fidelity games in truth... don't use anything close to that much system RAM.  In case you don't believe me this is a this a screenshot I just took of resource manager while playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey and I will point that I was playing on Ultra at 1440p and I was in game, not in the menu or anything:

The reason for this as I've tried to explain before is the game engines much prefer to use the VRAM on the card, NOT the system RAM on the motherboard whenever possible.  It's faster, easier to access and that is exactly what the developers design their games to do (if they are optimising their games properly that is) because the system RAM is used for system tasks such as the OS and desktop apps like Chrome in my case.  Results will vary and it depends largely on how much VRAM is on your particular graphics card.

I still maintain that 16Gb is better to play it safe, which is what I have and you might have noticed I'm using more than half with both AC and Chrome running.  But for lower tier setups I still think 8Gb will play most modern games fine.

Which channel do you watch for news updates? I watch BBC Breakfast every morning. However, if you stream or download any BBC content, consumers are legally bound to pay a TV License fee which is £157.50 in England. I can't entirely agree with the charge and personally believe the license should abolish or the money should go to good causes. They already get enough revenue from ad-breaks.

If that ability is removed then the game will become copy of PUBG and something that fortnite is trying hard to avoid. in fact they are trying so hard that they are coming out with options of flying, swimming maps and stuff.

Same. I usually never buy consoles on Day 1. Usually because there are glitches with them and waiting for the upgraded console.

Of course. Watching let's plays doesn't provide me with the same experience as playing the game myself, but it's an added factor which helps me with my purchasing decision. Even if I dislike the game, I'll watch the gameplay because I'm a fan of their channel.

Alexander. got a reaction from StaceyPowers in How long does it take you to feel invested in a game?
It really depends on the title in which I'm playing. Potentially hours, days or even weeks and I feel "invested in a game" once something draws me in. This could range from their storyline, game concept, or how well the games features have been developed.

Alexander. reacted to Crazycrab in Does anyone like the werewolf powers in Skyrim?
You could argue it depends on your character build but, I don't see how becoming a werewolf actually can make you stronger.  You can't use your weapons so any benefit of any enchantments or smithing gives you is out the window,  You also can't sneak, use potions, scrolls, spells or your shouts.  Immunity to diseases means nothing since they are so easy to cure and even if I really did feel the need to be immune or resistant to disease I'd use my enchanting skill or play as an argonian both of which are far more effective ways round it.

Alexander. reacted to Crazycrab in What will be the first games you buy on your PS5 or Xbox Series X?
First of all 2008 to 2013 is s gap of five years not four.  Secondly as others including myself have already mentioned Rockstar Games don't just make GTA but also Red Dead Redemption, the second game in such franchise only came out 2 years ago.  Other IP's include Max Payne, LA Noire and Bully, a follow up of which was only recently cancelled.  So what Rockstar is working on right now could be GTA VI, another Max Payne, a follow up to LA Noire or even something else entirely.

The point is Rockstar just came off a major project fairly recently and what they are making next could any number of things.  Don't believe anything until it comes from the horses mouth.  Whatever GTA VI "information" is out there are at best rumours and at worst flat out bullshit!

As for pics, at the moment all I have is a pic of the back. I'm assuming what you're looking for is side and/or front shots, so the answer would be no.

Yes and no. A tablet can be a good choice for the sole use of Gaming if you purchase the right one. The device needs to have sufficient memory capacity (128g) along with an excellent processor for a smooth game experience.
Any gamer doesn’t want to play a title which lags because of their device specifications.

Activision is certainly taking good steps in order to keep happy most of its players. After a strong demand, they have now introduced the duos mode as well which has certainly make lots of people happy who want to have just one best buddy in their team.
