I remember when I was younger, I used to hang around with a group of friends who loved skateboarding and got into it myself for a little while. I was no way good at it and ended up on my butt more times than I could count each time I tried, much to the humour of my friends! Since I got older though I have never thought to go back and try skateboarding again. My brother has a skateboard and often practices outside when the weather if nice with his moves and such and seems to enjoy doing it but it's never something I thought to go back to. 

One move I did try to get right over and over was the olly, never managed it though and was lucky I didn't cause myself any serious issues! 

I can't say that I am someone who rages on a game if I am honest, I may get a little annoyed and it can be heard in my reaction but in terms of raging I never saw the point of it. My way of thinking is, I am playing a game to chill, relax and feel better, raging really doesn't help you feel like you are relaxed and it will only cause you more stress. I have seen so many streamers, youtubers and such rage so bad it's a wonder they are even able to keep going. I never really understood it.

So today I picked Just Dance 2019 up for the Nintendo Switch. Every year I always buy my children Just Dance and all them to have it on New Years Eve for some fun and to help pass the time. This time I decided to purchase it on the Nintendo Switch as I own one now and for a different experience, we always get it on the Xbox One so having it on a different console will be different for everyone this year.

What are your thoughts on this years Just Dance 2019 and what console have you purchased it on? 

That looks so bad but I'd imagine it was way ahead of it's time back in the day! I remember using those calculators when I was in school. 🙂 They were stupid expensive! 

That's very true! I forgot you could play the campign co-op. I might have to get my boyfriend to sit down with me when we both have time and play through the campaign together. 🙂 There are so many games I'd like to complete but not enough time to do so! There just aren't enough hours in a day to complete all the games I wanna complete! 😄
 

Yeah, LGR on YouTube actually did a video on playing Doom on a calculator for those interested.
 

My favourite thing about Black Ops 3 was the ability to play the campaign co-op. I legit wish more CoD games would have a co-op campaign. I love the competitive modes but co-op helps add more diversity.

I never really got into the Doom series. It's pretty amazing that it's turned 25 years old though. Not too many franchises ever get to see that age before they die off into obscurity. 🙂 I might have to try the original Doom games sometime. 🙂 I do enjoy FPS games so  I might have to try Doom sometime. I know you can get it on pretty much any device nowadays. I heard you could even get it on a calculator back in the day! Now that is amazing. 🙂

Yes, I think the N64 Classic is not only likely, but inevitable. It just might take a year or two just to make sure there are plenty of NES and SNES Classics in circulation before moving on to the next one. Also the longer they wait, the cheaper the technology gets. 
Losing out on nearly every Rare game will be a bummer, but I feel like they can still work around that and build a decent library using mostly first-party games. I'm thinking they could do a console with maybe 16 games and it would be quite appealing.
Super Smash Bros Super Mario 64 Paper Mario Mario Kart 64 Mario Party 2 Donkey Kong 64 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards Star Fox 64 F-Zero X Pokemon Snap 1080 Snowboarding 3 third party games - maybe Bomberman 64, Harvest Moon 64, and Castlevania Legacy of Darkness? You could also consider Yoshi's Story, Pilotwings 64, Wave Race 64, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Sin & Punishment, and several others.
Controller-wise, I think they should pack-in 2 controllers. That way you can do multiplayer right out of the box, which was a big emphasis for the 64. It's going to be a big box, but whatever. That also reduces the supply strain on people trying to get their hands on people trying to get their 3rd and 4th controllers.
Price-wise I think they could aim for $80 to $100. Spare controllers could come in at maybe $15 to $18 a pop. 

I would have to say that Black Ops 3 was probably one of my favourites in terms of a Call of Duty, this was the first game I was able to gain prestige master on and actually enjoyed working my way towards that rank. I still even  now go back to it quite often and have fun with it and I feel like I will be going back to it more often. Black Ops 4 is good but it definitely doesn't beat Black Ops 3.

I would much rather play creative over survival if I am honest. Creative is a great game mode on Minecraft to be able to sit down, relax, not have to worry and just chill out building whatever you want. I love to be able to sit with my family and just have fun whilst building crazy things or something we have an idea for. Survival is fun but I find I get too frustrated over Survival and give up very quickly.

Arcade games are so much fun! I remember when I was growing up two of my most favourite arcade games to play were Donkey Kong and PacMan! PacMan was the one game I became super addicted to though and my parents were never fond of me playing on it too long due to how addicted I got to that game. Safe to say though, all the hours spent on PacMan when I was growing up definitely helped me out as I get older. 

It's a shame they don't make arcade games like they used to anymore, it would be nice to see something new released in the arcade genre. So many awesome memories!

Barricading myself in somewhere like a huge shopping store would definitely be an idea I would have, especially if it was a store that cooks their own foods like chicken and such because then you would have the ability to cook food as well as also have access to as much food, toiletries and such as possible. I guess if I could get in a shopping store near numerous other stores within short walking distance that would be amazing as well as I would have access to a lot more than just what is in a store, my only worry would be how I would get to and from safely. I guess if the store I barricaded myself into had DIY products I would be able to grab things to use against the zombies and be safe going from one place to another.

I agree with this and think it's a good thing to have in place if I am honest. All too often people get way to addicted to gaming in a way that it becomes unhealthy and that is when some kind of help should come into play. Spending time on video games but knowing when to take a break shows signs of a healthy way of gaming but when you get to the point where you game for hours up on hours and you don't know when to stop and it starts affecting your life bad, you know you have an issue. Usually people who continuously play games and don't know when to stop are those who are suffering mentally with issues, getting help is always better than shutting off even if sometimes shutting off feels like the better option.

Tony Hawk and the Skate games were always my favourites but we haven't had any in years and it's so annoying! It's like they all of a sudden decided that they didn't want to do skateboard games anymore or like they decided there was no interest for them anymore. I can confirm there is still a whole lot of interest for them, my boyfriend is always going on about how he would love to see a new Skate game or even a new Tony Hawk game and then we get into a conversation about the older games and how much we loved them.

Who know's, maybe we will one day get one when we least expect it, we can hope!

Yes! I do sometimes get burned out on gaming and have to move my interests over to something else for a while until my interest in gaming comes back and I actually feel like gaming again. This has not happened for a while for me however I remember earlier this year I got so burned out when gaming that I ended up going off and watching movies and TV shows just to take a break away from games for a while. I think now because I look back and remember how burned out I got with gaming, I pace myself more and spend less time gaming and more time doing other things so that I avoid being burned out again, so far it seems to be working so I am hoping that I have a balance.

There have been so many awesome games this year and way too many to be able to get them all but I would say my most favourite out of the list would definitely have to be 

Call of Duty Black Ops 4
Battlefield V
Pokemon Let's Go
Spyro 
Forza Horizon 4

Monster Hunter World was another I picked up, however, I never played much of it so I do need to get back on that.

So far I have only played multiplayer and a little Blackout since getting the game and I have to say that Hardcore Team Death Match and Hardcore Kill Confirmed are my two favourite modes on multiplayer. I am yet to try zombies but I am being told that there are mixed reviews regarding the Zombies side of Call Of Duty this year with some loving the mode and others not liking as much as previous games and they feel they tried to do too much to it. I will be trying zombies myself at some point but as it stands right now, hardcore team death match and hardcore kill confirmed are my go to.

Battlefield 5 is out for many right now if you have early access. You would have gained early access depending on what version of the game you purchased. The Digital Deluxe Edition I believe it was gave you access to the game yesterday (Thursday) however if you got the normal version of the game you will gain access to it on 20th November 2018!

I myself have the Digital Deluxe version of the game and I was able to play it yesterday. As with any game you will get bugs and issues that need to be ironed out but over all I would say it's a really fun game that you can have hours of fun with friends.

Have you picked up Battlefield 5 yet and what are your thoughts on it?
