It depends what you're using to shoot them and where you are shooting them. I'm sure it's realistic although I can't say that with certainty because I've never done it in real life lol. If you use the Deadeye ability and shoot animals like bears and alligator in the spots coloured red, then most of the time, they will go down in just one shot.

I hate EA as much as the next guy but that quote is slightly wrong. I believe the EA executive was talking about games where you follow a story, a sort of linear game. He didn't say that all single player games were dead, especially considering how popular open world based single player games are doing.

Train Sim World on the PlayStation 4. It's a train simulator as you can guess from the name. It's not the most exciting game in the world and as with any simulator, DLC is quite expensive and adds very little other than trains and routes. But, it is quite relaxing and whenever I need to just chill out, this is the game I go for (and probably Crew 2) because you can just drive the train and watch the scenery :D

I've never had to replace a controller either. I have two controllers at the moment so that I don't have to play whilst charging my controller. There are times where I get frustrated with games, especially with FIFA but I have never thrown it or broken it lol. Don't think I could afford to keep breaking it

That's without even taking their microtransactions into consideration. They tried to take everything that has been great about Fortnite but managed to incorporate it in the worst way. The game looks stupid with all these damn skins and weird face paints. I miss the good old days of COD. It's a shame because they had a chance to convince me to move over to COD again because BF was especially disappointing this year but they failed.

They really should have released the BR mode as a separate thing. I understand why they did it because there was no way people were going to buy Black Ops 4 for just multiplayer and zombies. But it just would have been so much better because I like it but could not justify the price tag. The multiplayer is meh and the lack of a story mode is awful. Zombies never interested me so that was never something I would try out.

DarthHazard got a reaction from DC in Battlefield V - £24.99
A pretty good deal for anyone that doesn't have a problem with used games. Battlefield V (for the PlayStation 4) is currently available for just £24.99 from Boomerang on eBay.
The used conditions relate to the disc which has been machine cleaned but is in perfect playing condition. Additionally, free delivery is available for this product and it will arrive within 2-3 days.
There are only a limited number so get it before it runs out! - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Battlefield-V-PS4/283347300704

I wouldn't say that it is a copy of PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds. It's a Battle Royale so obviously there are going to be a lot of similarities but for me, Blackout is much better than Player Unknown. The thing with PUBG is that it is full of problems and I don't think the developers have gone the right direction with the game. Blackout has been well built and it's actually quite interesting to play. But I did return my copy of BO4. I couldn't justify the price either especially when the only thing I liked was Blackout.

I used to say what you said about Rockstar about Bethesda lol. Not that I ever expected quality, but I always expected I would like it.
Now I won't buy anything from anyone without a review. Even new Sims 4 expansions I watch/read a review on them first. I have just been burned too many times I suppose.
I've found I like to watch/read a variety of reviews from different reviewers too. Just because not everyone looks for the same things out of games, and I've found that my interests are pretty particular lol. So I like to get the full story on something before I'm gonna spend my money on it.

I totally forgot about all the bad decisions they made with the Xbox One at the start. I remember the Kinect issue being massive because people didn't like that they might be tracked at home. Not being able to share discs will always be a massive mistake and it was a surprise that they tried going down that route. I can't remember if another developer tried it and it failed badly. It would have ruined the ability to trade in your games or even return games.

Microsoft also did a lot of bad marketing with the XBox One. Bundling it with the Kinect at first, and saying it was "impossible to use without it" made it pretty pricey, and a lot of marketing at first focused on it more as a home media center and something you could watch sports on while gaming.

The fact they also mentioned discs could no longer be shared and it required a constant online connection also soured the deal for most gamers. Granted they went back on these decisions later but that, and the lack of exclusives I think has lead to the low sales of the XBox One.

I would have to agree. I had an Xbox 360 and so did most of the people from my school actually. So it's not at all surprising that the PlayStation 4 has outsold the PlayStation 3. It helped that the PlayStation 4 was considered the better console compared to the Xbox One when they were first announced (the main reason why me and my friends moved over to the PlayStation 4).

Slightly different to Sony Rewards, PS Plus Rewards gives freebies to PlayStation Plus users. I'm not sure if this is a brand new feature or if they have been available for other countries for a while. However, they have two great offers available at the moment. The best offer being free NOW TV Sports pass for 7 days that will expire in 12 months.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if this is available for other countries but it is definitely available for PlayStation Plus users in the UK

I think that point is probably applicable to a lot of things and not just underage gaming really. I think that recently, the media and a lot of individuals are always looking to blame someone else and the companies producing something for things that really should be down to the parents or the individual. People really need to stop blaming others and take some actual responsibility for themselves and their children.

It would have to be Arthur and Sadie from Red Dead Redemption 2. The developers did say that they removed a sizeable amount from singleplayer and I believe that it was a love interest story for Arthur. So it would have been nice to see what would have happened between Arthur and Sadie later on. Even without the romantic relationship, they had such a good dynamic. They understood each other and after meeting each other, they ended up being quite similar to each other which was great to see.

I don't see any problem with it, to be honest. When I was around 6 or 7, I played Grand Theft Auto Vice City for the first time ever and I loved it. I didn't even care about certain aspects of the game, for me, it was great because it was the first open world and driving game that I experienced and had a chance at playing. It didn't mess me up and I don't think any games affect anyone really. It's all up to the individual.

DarthHazard got a reaction from killamch89 in You are given $100,000 to make a video game. What will you make?
That is a pretty dirty and dishonest tactic and it's a short-term plan really. It will never work in the long run and will only cost you more money, in my opinion. You can use the same example of No Man's Sky for this. They got a lot of pre-orders and sales for the game but the moment people realised the game was awful, they didn't want it and returned it. I believe Steam actually started accepting mass returns for the game based on "false promises".

I'm not sure how far $100,000 would go to be fair. I would try and learn some programming languages that are good for making games and then build the game myself. I would probably try to spend a bit of the money on actually developing the games and the graphics and keep the rest for marketing. As we all know, there's no point in having a good game if no one knows about it. Marketing is extremely important and can help you a lot.

I mean, you bought it already so it's probably not the best time to be doing a comparison 😂. It depends on what you want really. WIth PC, you get a lot more freedom and there is obviously a much larger choice of games as well for you. But the Xbox or even the PS4 is much easier to manage. The chances of there being a problem are low and you know that you can just buy a game and it will work with your console. Plus, it's a lot cheaper.

I used to when I was smaller. I would usually go on YouTube and search for gaming tips for games that I knew that I was getting for Christmas. I usually only did this for first-person shooters really like Call of Duty because most other games were straightforward and didn't require that much "tips & tricks". I don't really search for gamer tutorials anymore though. I wouldn't say I'm a professional or the best but I'm pretty good with shooters now so I don't really need any tips. I know most of them and for me, most of these videos just tell you the obvious that most people know already anyway.

Exactly. Not only does it take a while to fully explore the large maps, but it takes a long time to actually complete the whole game as well. Games like Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 also have a huge amount of achievements that aren't always easy to get. For example, I'm trying to get 100% for Red Dead Redemption 2 and it involves a lot of difficult challenges that are extremely time consuming as well. So, yeah, you need a lot of time so it's always better to buy it and keep it.
