  1. Cryptocurrency is among the most popular financial projects today. A lot of people and companies are investing in it. It's been used as a means of paying for so many things online.

If you're into cryptocurrency transactions, have you ever used it to purchase video games? Which platform did you buy the games from?

  2. Well, it's very obvious with Sonic games. The fanbase is something else when it comes to how they follow the game. I do love the game but I'm shocked how it's fanbase get the way they are.

Other games like Pac-Man, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros and Donkey Kong all have strong cult following fanbase.

I was going to say Mario as well. I've never seen a game with so many spinoffs. But since you already gave that one, the only other two I can think of would be Zelda and Sonic. They both have so many oddball entries in their franchise that it can't be said that they don't do any kind of spinoff.

Spot on mentioned Sonic. There's tons of spin-offs with the game too. I'm a sonic fan but there's no way I would be able to play them all. I recently joined a Sonic gaming forum, there are so many discussion on those spin-offs.

They're both interconnected as sharpening your memory tends to help your thought process. They're not the same thing though. It's somewhat muddled because crossword puzzles depend primarily on memory of certain words. Other types of puzzle games tend to refine your thinking process.

I figured as well. In the end, it's all about the kind of video games that someone is playing to begin with that would have it takes to sharpening their memory. There are games which are just baseless with or what the gameplay is about.

Which shows that social media has done a lot of good for some gamers as it's allowed them to earn from doing what they love the most.

Definitely, it's a big yes for those whom have been able to break into that first circle of streamers. They have had it easy compared to what new streamers are facing today.

I was just throwing a bit of banter. I'm not sure why Fortnite players get so offended by that statement though - I've heard that from someone about almost every game I've ever played and I'm unfazed.

I know you are mate, it's nothing serious. I would say that some if not all Fortnite gamers are too emotional about the game. It's why they lose it whenever the game is being castigated.

There's always that one fanatic that will pay anything for a rare collectible of the series they adore and don't care about the long-term consequences. Then, those are same ones who turn around and complain about the prices. Absolute insanity!

It's a very shameful act if I'm being really honest about how this makes my skin crawl but it's quite unfortunate that there's nothing I can do about it or even anyone else. It's now a norm in the gaming market.

Had some fun playing Rocket League. I haven't played it in almost 6 months.

Rocket League is a very unique game. You will always love it whenever you played it if you're into playing that sort of video games.

I had a good time playing Minit Fun Racer.

To be fair, I'm one of those people who've stopped playing Fifa years ago because it's more or less the same game from 2016 but refined a bit every year. The worst part is when they try to reintroduce features from previous games as "revolutionary".

It's the same copy of old game in a refined manner but with the same old bugs and even new one's as well. EA really did their FIFA games dirty. The same thing have been going on with COD for a while now.

I agree - his content is hilarious and I've been watching him for little over a year now. How did you learn about him?

You're right on point about how hilarious his gaming contents used to be. It's somehow small similar to what Angry Joe does in some of his contents.

I was introduced to him on one gaming forum years ago where streamers was being discussed. Since then, I've been following him like a bee to honey.

Yeah - nobody really watches content like they do on YouTube, Twitch and other social media platforms. Most people on social media lack the attention span to watch any video over 5 minutes.

Exactly! Those social media platforms which are dedicated for gaming contents gets more activities compared to others. Yes, it's true that TikTok is booming today but when it comes to gaming, it's still miles behind platforms like Twitch and YouTube.

From my analysis, it's mostly games that make you have to use your brain and really think like crossword puzzles and other games along those lines.

Forgive me but I must ask this, do you think sharpening your thinking and sharpening your memory is the same thing? I feel such games sharpens your how you think and not just broadly your memory. I might be wrong in this thought!

For instance, some of the top streamers are making in excess of $100k a month which is the annual salary of most high-paying jobs.

Richard Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins was among the top earners on Twitch in 2023. He's among the most famous names in online gaming today. There was a report that came out stating he made $500,000 per month on Twitch which matches the earning record of Felix 'PewDiePie' - The Swedish Sensation.

If you wanted her to respond, just say Fortnite sucks 🤣. Trust me, I don't know why it gets under the skin of most Fortnite players so much but it triggers them a lot.

I don't want to irk my good friend @Shortie, she have been so good to me since we knew each other.. Even as a joke, I wouldn't want to make her feel bad 😂.

She loves playing that game with so much excitement!

I'll admit, it does bother my eyes a bit but that's usually from playing too long.

This is just it. It's why I try as much as possible not go on playing game's with such graphics for too long because I already know what the consequences is going to be for my eyes which isn't good in any way at all.

That's a valid point - there's always someone gullible enough to buy them so the sellers won't reduce their prices because they know whatever they selling will always be in demand.

Facts! I've seen it happen over and over again for years to know that it's never going to stop, rather it's going to keep skyrocketing. When the narrative of such games being too rare is being sold to buyers, the gullible one's will pay whatever they're asked to.

Same here - Tekken 8 is a more fun game to play than MK1 and Street Fighter 6. I don't think I've ever felt that way about any previous Tekken games. MK1 is a pretty good game as well but I find the community to be so toxic.

Yeah, that's very correct about how toxic the community of MK1 was. I've had my own fair share of experience with them which is why I don't usually associate with them freely. Toxicity in some gaming community is seriously getting out of hand lately.

I do agree that changes need to be made behind the scenes because releasing the same generic crap every year isn't doing the series any favors. Even their most loyal fanboys are starting to despise COD.

Exactly! It was the same thing which had happened to EA with the trash they were dumping on FIFA players. I know so many people who stopped playing FIFA as a result of this. The same thing it most likely going to happen to COD if care isn't taken.

I also recently beat Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. A great expansion to a great game in my opinion. I've always though Cyberpunk was a great game, even though I will admit it had some issues at launch.

The serious issues Cyberpunk had as its launch made it very difficult for me to get back into playing the game again. Maybe it's time now for me to pull myself together and head right back into it since everything seems okay now.

I had some moment with playing The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt in the early morning of today.

I used to collect MGS stuff and some Nintendo accessories when I was younger but I've grown out of the habit over time. Plus, I don't have space to store the gaming stuff I'd collect.

I still have this my collection of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D Premium Package 3DS and there's no plans on my side to even think about selling it. I will hold onto it for at least the next 20 years.
