  1. Even game developers knows the impact of having good graphics in their games today. It's why they are now using improved engines like Unreal Engine 5 and so many other sophisticated alternatives to develop their games. Personally, I appreciate games with good graphics too the same way I love good story in games.

I don't think it takes away from storyline. Destiny has a wonderful multiplayer portion, but they have told a great story in my opinion. Even Call of Duty has a storyline, now have I really ever played the campaign.... no, but I like the idea of the story they have. xD

I was definitely going to mention Destiny because it's one multiplayer game that have given so much in making gamers have a real feel of what playing multiplayer games is all about. As for COD, I have been trying to revoke my interest in playing the game.

It's too bad the game was delisted from Steam and other marketplaces because some people will never get to experience this gem of a game first-hand.

Even though I know it's as a result of sales and marketing purposes which the game wasn't meeting up with target but I refuse to understand it. If some gamers will still buy the game, what's the essence of delisting it?

  4. Alisa is definitely going to be my favourite character in Tekken 8. There's a very good reason why she's gets more playtime in ranked mode of the game. Why I love her is how good her mobility and stance helps with enabling her move very quickly across the arena. Her technological enhancements offers the use of chainsaw and rockets to cause heavy damages.

Have we all not experienced this as kids? There was a time I missed school just to stay at home and play. Parents were out of town for a week, I woke up one morning and loaded the game instead of preparing for school.
School called my parents that I was absent and I can never forget the discipline I received. That experience still being smiles to my face whenever I remember it.

I can't remember how many times I skipped class just to go home with my friends for us to play on his Playstation 1 back in the days. It was mostly Winning Eleven Soccer that we played back them. We never got enough of it.

That's the risk, definitely.  There are going to be hunts where you find nothing or nothing of interest to you, and there are going to be hunts where you find a lot of "meh" titles, but that's what makes the hunts where you find the truly great stuff worthwhile.  It's like anything in life, you've got your share of disappointments that aren't fun, but they make the great moments worthwhile!

Yeah, that's very correct. If it's all easy whenever you went looking, it's going to even get boring along the line and it's certainly going to lose it's value and vibe because anyone can get into the act and get great titles with ease. There wouldn't be fun in it that much.

Totally agree, games these days are exactly like playing through a very long movie, as was said above, so it makes no sense to take the immersion out of the equation.  It's like watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy from the start of The Fellowship and then Skipping to the last 40 minutes of Return of the King.  You miss the whole point.

Seriously, it has never made any sense to me whenever I see any gamer go at a game in this manner. I'm always like how do they enjoy the cut off in between and jump right to almost the end. It can never work for me playing that way.

I just want to see them keep physical media alive.  I know that's asking far too much for today's generations, but the collector in me hates that we're going to lose physical games very soon.

Unfortunately, this isn't even going to be around for a long time because with the way digital games is going, it feels sad for collectors. Also, it's part of what's making collection very expensive.

As someone who WAS trying to complete my Saturn collection, but has had to stop because...I just can't afford it, yeah.  I'm worried about the prices of games constantly rising.  I am somewhat hopeful that the recent decline in the collector market popularity will indicate falling prices, at least somewhat, then I could snag some other games I'm looking for on other systems, but for the most part collecting as a whole is beyond me.

With what's going on so far, it now seems that the assessment of some people who tag gaming and collecting as rich people's hobby as being true because with the persistent rise in price of such games, if you ain't that rich, there's no way you can keep it up.

I'd rather go unarmed than trying to use a bow especially when fighting multiple enemies. A bow is worthless unless you're extremely skilled.

I did struggled a lot too playing with bow and arrow. I had that experience in playing Ghost of Tsushima and some other games. I had to put in more efforts in learning how to use it. Ordinarily, I would go for a knife(dagger) to kill my opponents.

To be honest, I was playing some Palworld earlier. Now, I do love Pokemon as a series but there are quite a number of things I wish Pokemon could implement into their own game to make it more fun. I feel like the different Pals actually serve a purpose in and out of battle.

I've played Palworld too for a while. It's not that bad in my opinion but according to some people, they felt the game was a little bit rushed as they needed more from it it. It's just like you mentioned about having different Pals to serve more purpose in battles and other engagements.

Btw, I played Top Eleven Football Manager this morning and my team lost as usual. This season have been bad for me.

If all you're doing is just walking in a videogame, I don't really the see point of playing it. You'll likely lose interest pretty easily because it's so repetitive.

If it's just to walk from point to point without doing anything tangible for hours, probably it's definitely going to bore you out. It's when there's some kind of exploring and things to collect and interact with in the process, then it will be engaging.

  13. Unfortunately, I don't have any interest in video games development. I know about so many platforms where you can get into game's creation but I never bothered getting into it. I also doesn't have any good coding and programming skills. I'll just pass on game's development.

I don’t understand though, so who still buy and play those 90s games for it to be worth that much? If I am to do that with games that are 12 years old now I would probably get a handshake for the pawn shop. Even if they’re kept as souvenirs, wow.

There are still so many gamers who are so much into playing retro games. For the fact that the demand of those kind of games are higher than its supply. This is what makes the game's price hiked.

Wait, isn’t the point of collecting certain things the whole point that the value goes up?? Collecting something expecting the market to be affordable for all is completely redundant.

Yeah, that's very correct. The whole point of everything that have to do with game's collection is for the value to increase. If the games stays years without having their value skyrocket, it's a complete waste of time, energy and effort. I don't even care so much because I'm not a collector.. Sorry!

I know that I will probably regret asking this question, but how do you damage a console with your own sweat?

From reading his comment, he's probably talking about his controllers but instead he used console (It can be an honest mistake anyways).

On topic, I would have asked for improvement in the voice commands feature but it have recently been done on PS5 with introducing a new Preview version. With this, I don't have any new ideas of what I want in the next gen console.

We do not have a GameStop in the UK but we have a similar store called Game, they are the same they tend to sell more collectibles than they do physical games now and it does make me wonder if soon, they may just stop selling physical games altogether.

Even going in the store you can a lot of the time buy games digitally too so having them physical is usually pointless. Most of the time, the games that are physical that sell are used games that have been sold to the store for credit.

I do believe one day we will see physical games no longer available in stores such as GameStop or Game in the UK and digital fully taking over. These stores will simply sit as a place to buy gaming collectibles.

When Microsoft is even planning on closing up their physical game's store, it's something that's likely going to happen in the future and it's not going to be long. This happening with GameStop and other gaming store is a sign of how digital games are taking over. It's a reality we all have to face.

  18. Maybe I'm addicted to playing video games when I was a kid because I used to play for hours without taking a break. I can even abandoned my food because of games. This doesn't happen to me now as an adult. I don't even have much time to play games now.
