@Bravosi you can have more than one follower in skyrim, you can have one regular companion and one animal companion (Meeko or Vigilance).
i was going to say that what skyrim gets wrong about followers is not having Dogmeat. Dogmeat is the best.

Exploration of course is what I enjoyed the most,it plays a lot like Fallout 4, but its very lonely and that was my problem, its supposed to be an MMO but I never encountered another player, I only played it for about 40 minutes I guess but that was enough to understand that encounters are not that common. Everything else was fine but its not a game that I would recomend.
I was very confused by the marketing for the game as to whether it was going to be multiplayer or single player (they made it sound like it would be "both"). hahah i wonder if that was why.

i try every option i can at least once though once i find out the consequences/changes i just go back usually to whatever makes the most sense to me. but i am too curious not to try them all!

@TheSteelyardDweller The Anchorage one is pretty great! But I prefer The Pitt. I'm surprised you didn't pick that one, given your username?
@DylanC I had mixed feelings about Point Lookout. I loved the map and the ambiance, just like you did. The plot didn't really give me anything/anyone to emotionally connect to though. So in general, I think it was great, but it was lacking in that area to me.
My playthrough of NV crashed before I could play Old World Blues. I'm on my second playthrough now with my priority to actually finish the main quest line, but my top priority after that is to play Old World Blues.
the Steelyard is the best thing about the Pitt. dlc was too short in general. would have loved if it was as big as point lookout.

@UleTheVee @killamch89 it'd be nice to learn more about how that is supposed to work if either of you know anything more about it/can send me any resources that would be helpful

I dont own the games and I havent played them since, I dont think I will play them again to be honest 😆 It was at a friend's house he has the games on his PC.
What was your fallout 76 experience like more specifically? what did you do in the game and what parts did you enjoy and not enjoy

Even though Fallout takes place in a fictitious world, a lot about it was drawn from RL history. I’ve learned a lot since I started playing the series and it’s made me appreciate history more. Does anyone else feel this way?
-
I think it’d be kinda interesting to have a fallout game which takes place during the war just to find out more about everything that went down.
-
which of the fallout 3 dlcs do you like best? @DylanC @StaceyPowers @Matt Morgans i like the anchorage one most. i liked learning more about the war, and the gear you get is awesome.

i have played a lot of Fallout 3. not as much New Vegas. i never have figured out which of the two games has a larger map? does anyone know the answer?
-
I am on like my fourth playthrough of Fallout 3 and I swear I still haven’t seen the whole map. Anyone here feel like they’ve discovered every square inch?

I’m a big fan of Michael Crichton and many of his books have been adapted into lots of good movies, but The Andromeda Strain, Sphere and Prey could make for some great source material for tech noir horror games. Sphere is a lot like Bioshock and takes place at the bottom of the sea, so that would make for a compelling environment, for example.
Andromeda Strain does seem like it'd have major game potential.

If I had the opportunity and the money to make a game it will an open world action-story Pirates, with the naval combat of Assasins creed 4 but with a much better story and way more customization and exploration. And of course some fantasy like the Kraken , ghosts and Sirens. Well basically a Pirates of the Caribbean Open world game 😆
dude that sounds like the coolest thing ever. i would totally play your game!!! i'll even pre-order the deluxe edition =D
-
dude you're overthinking this. just finish the quest already.
-
@kingpotato what you say here makes a lot of sense. Are you still playing these two games? If so, have you enjoyed them more with time or less?
-
i like games to be more relaxing than challenging, but a little hcallenge can be good sometimes. usually i pick easier modes but it really depends on the game and my mood.

I started two games this week Gears 2 and Fallout New vegas.
those are good choices. how are you liking Fallout New Vegas so far?

i thought growing up it would be cool to make games. but i don't have any of the skills. and honestly it doesn't look nearly as much fun IRL as i thought it would be when i was in school.

that's pretty cool! you're off to a good start

Yeah. There was a time.whrre I only was able to play Steam games offline. So yeah, I can tell you that it works.
Meanwhile, for a time, the Epic Games Store didn't have it.
Good to know. still would bug me though if i needed to download a game and couldn't. and i still am confused what happens if a company goes out of business. let's say Steam tanks tomorrow. what happens to my digitally-owned games?
-
it even sounds pretty good if you loop it. i love that someone made this. imo no better ambiance in any other video game. the sounds, the light, the visuals, it's just amazing.

trend of the year: unwanted micro-transactions and unfinished game releases.

But yeah, this reminds me that I should really start taking screenshots as some games really look stunning. This way I only have others' screenshots to show.
Those are spectacular!
