It seems by the time they realised what was happening it was already far to late, whether they actually did bomb Jakarta or not.  The woman that was being examined at the start of the second episode was dead for 30 hours on September 24th and she was infected via a bite, hence not the first and it was already spreading.  The outbreak in Texas where Sarah, Joel and Tommy were happened on September 26th, but given the time difference that's actually only one day later not two.  So if we assume that Indonesia is where it started, it's at least a two day window between the contaminated produce to have left that warehouse in Jakarta (and possibly others) and the first known cases of the infection.
 
I've looked it up and another thing about Cordyceps is that can take up to 6 weeks for fruiting.  This means whatever the contaminated crop was, lets just say it was wheat, could have been harvested, processed, freighted out but not actually become infections until it was your morning Bacon roll a month or two later.  So for me, the idea they are going with does hold up.

Well there is a Demo available for the PC version now on Steam and EGS, so you are least able to figure if your PC actually can run this dam thing before you spend any money!

I'm going to be honest, as far as concerned the Series S isn't really a "Next Gen" console at all.  The GPU on the Series X is not only 3 times as powerful as the one on the series S, but the GPU on the Series S is actually even less capable that the on the old XBox One X!  True the Series S has the same CPU and high speed storage, but it still should at least be match for the pervious generations mid-gen refresh and definitely shouldn't be worse!  If want my advice, your better off spending $500 on a Series X, then wasting $300 on a Series S.

That's what I thought too.  The song is Never Let Me Down Again by Depeche Mode released in 1987 which suggests that it is a distress signal from Bill.  From what I have heard the "Bill" episode plays out very differently from the game but I'm not exactly sure how other than that it seems like Frank is alive in this version.

The first episode was great!  It detracted from the game in some places but never in a way was affected the story negatively.  I expanded the story into areas that the game never did while still remaining faithful to the lore and characters.  I'm my opinion as a massive fan of the game it's got the balance of being faithful to the source material while also giving me some suspires and unexpected moments.
 
I do have a slight fear that the violence has been soften up a bit to much, but maybe that's just me being hardened up to what's in the game which was always going to be in more volume.

Technology isn't the issue, it's the "greed over gameplay" design of most of the games on mobile.  it's almost entirely freemium games that are loaded with microtransactions, timers, loot boxes and a bunch of other crap.  Their motivation is based on monetisation rather than making the games actually fun and until that changes mobile gaming isn't going to get better and I don't realistically see that happening.

From what I understand they didn't want the cast to be pulling from to many sources outside the script that Neil Druckman and Craig Mazin prepared for the show, which I think makes sense.  Bella needs to do her interpretation of the character, not Ashley's.

Does anyone else think that Russian officials wanting to start a game company with the ambition of becoming "The Russian EA" is a bit like them getting a new filmmaker to go to Hollywood with the ambition of becoming the "Russian M. Night Shyamalan"?.  You think they'd aim to be a little better than that!

It's pretty much a small form PC that you can buy by the board. This is what it looks before you put it in a case (left). Mine looked similar but was an earlier model. The image on the right is when you put it in a case. You can buy many different cases, or even make your own if you know how. 

It can be used for many things, like building robots, coding, using it as a PC etc. All you need to do is install an OS on an micro sd card and that's really it. There are guides online how to set it up with emulation station, which works with raspberry pi os. You can connect USB controllers and map the controller depending on game/console etc. 
I'm probably not making much sense, but the guide I used was pretty easy to follow, just tedious if anything. I couldn't find the guide I used years ago, but I was able to find this guide that looks to go step by step - https://www.instructables.com/Raspberry-Pi-Emulation-Station-1/
Reading that, they mention an OS called RetroPie, which is needed for Emulation station. - https://retropie.org.uk/
Another thing I used my raspberry pi was for a cheap PC I used for streaming some content on my bigscreen tv. Sadly it died on me a couple months ago, I think it shorted out somehow. And now it won't turn on. :( But the good thing is that they're pretty cheap. The newest one right now, I believe goes for like $60 for just the board, but based on the amount of RAM you want, and you can find kits online for the case/charger/SD card for a decent price as well. I just checked the site, and one retailer is selling the Raspberry Pi 4 for $75 with 8gb, which is probably what I would go with for RAM. 
And then for the actual emulation, I used https://emulationstation.org/ which pretty much combines all emulators into one package, so all you'd then need to do is find your roms and that's it. Some of the newer models will work with PS1 and N64. Not sure if it can do later stuff like PS2 and up, but I could be wrong. My Raspberry pi was older, so it didn't work so well with N64 games and later. 
And the link to the Raspberry pi site here - https://www.raspberrypi.com/ they will list retailers that sell them. They may be tough to come by lately due to the recent shortage of boards and other PC parts lately. 
They make other boards for tech projects, but I only ever used the raspberry pi boards they sell. 

I think i9's and other high thread count processors are really intended for production purposes like audio production, video editing and 3D modelling.  In some cases a high core count processor can be a little slower in games.

There isn't a ton of information but it creatively seems to be going in quite a different direction to it's predecessor.  It also seems to have had a bit of a troubled development with many of senior staff members (on the Crystal Dynamics side in particular) leaving the project along with various other delays due to COVID, Embracer Group's acquisition of CD and so on.

As far as I know there has (still) been no official announcement from Sony or From Software.  Earlier I made a "best case scenario" prediction of Q4 2023. If that's true then we might see an announcement the VGA's but I doubt it.

@Crazycrab did justice to the topic. There are very many things that influences how an individual chooses to relate or react to other people in the society and we have to look at the psychological aspects instead of relying just on what is visualized what about personal experience like been abused as children , taking hard drugs and excessive alcohol and other vices. Yes video games can influence but 80% of violent people I know in my neighborhood don't even play video games and can't even afford to get a good console.
So what does Oxford have to say to say about that.
