    Bragging about never crying.
You can't win with people sometimes. People criticize toxic masculinity, but when you start to express that you cry while enjoying the more trivial things like video games and thus being in touch with your emotions, people sometimes call out on that even in 2022. It's like, which is it? Should I be in touch with my emotions or not? It's why I just can't deal with people anymore because they have this twisted narrative that I'm just not sure how to go along with without stepping on someone's toes. I'd rather just shut up about it most of the time.

Tbh, I feel like people tend to misuse terminology with the Water Temple. It’s tedious, and not hard. You are just restricted access to rooms because of either the water level, lack of keys, or the lack of the long shot. It’s not like it takes skill to raise/lower the water level, or just come back with a key or long shot.
I always see people calling anything that takes longer than usual as hard, despite it not really taking effort.
I can beat the Water Temple without a guide as I use the same tactic you do, but some of the backtracking is a pain, but that doesn’t make it difficult. The part that throws people off is the chest with the key in the basement of the central tower people easily forget about.

I'm just the opposite. The shadow and spirit temples are extremely easy. The spirit temple is actually my favorite temple in the game. As for pissing anyone off, fuck em. Everyone has different capabilities, experiences, and play styles. You find the water temple easy. Awesome! I find it a major bitch, especially since I'm trying to get all the gold skulltulas as well. As for the bongo playing penis, that's one trick I hope no man has. I would turn and run if a guy was doing that. especially if two appendages suddenly appeared. My thought on that:
    GENITAL WARTS FROM HELL

I've heard endless complaints about the Water Temple in OoT and at risk of pissing some people of, I've never seen what all the fuss is about.  By my recollection all you really have to do is sink to bottom, explore every accessible room, raise the water level, rinse and repeat.  Sure you are punished with some pain in the ass backtracking if you miss something but if you just follow that pattern that won't happen.  I always remember the Spirit Temple being more complicated and the Shadow Temple being more of a mindfuck, I mean the final boos is literally a bongo playing penis with disembodied hands!

In case your not aware the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim is basically the same as the Special Edition except it's got The Creation Club content included.  Creation Club is where you go to pay money for user created mods instead of going to Nexus Mods to get far superior content for free because.... your a jackass. The Anniversary Edition is something like £15/$20 upgrade or £43/$50 full purchase on PC Steam for this over a decade old game and it's almost universally agreed by Stream users that this clearly not worth it.  Yet not only is it $70 on the Nintendo Switch, as as I can tell there's no option to upgrade either!  It's the full whack $69.99 even if you own the Special Edition already.

I genuinely don't understand how Nintendo keep getting away with charging such a premium which has happened multiple times.  Why are games so expensive on the Switch when in many cases the ports are inferior?  This is ridiculous.

For fucks sake can you try to do something that clearly none of these people posting these tweets, articles and videos are doing and think about it!  These ratings are only applied after the publisher submits a presentation detailing all the content in the game.  In order to have enough content to make this presentation the game would have to exist as at least as a fully assembled Beta.  So unless Konami have decided to sit on this for the last 2 - 3 years without announcing or doing any kind of promotional work a all, there is no way that development is far down the road yet.  It just doesn't add up!

I'd be happy if this turned out to be a full console and PC release, I'd be be glad to be wrong.  I'm telling you if "Silent Hill: The Short Message" is real, it's a Pachinko machine, arcade or maybe a mobile game at best.

Another thing, if this is a console and PC release of the next main entry in the Silent Hill franchise, I find it very unlikely to be announced at the VGA's.  I don't know how much of the history between the VGA's/Geoff Keighley and Konami your aware of, but let's just say not exactly tight.

Yeah same here, buying bottled water is such a waste of money imo. I do buy sparkling water during the summer but i don't really have a favourite so i usually buy the cheapest one i can find in stores because water is water and if you are realy thirsty any water tastes good.

Thank you for the replies and welcoming me to the forum.
Turns out I was looking at the wrong genre.
I looked into hack and slash and found 2 games that looked like they would be good for me: Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen and God of War.
    I really appreciate it.

I'm curious to know exactly what you mean by "pure water".  I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that pure, no additives, PH neutral, biotic free H₂O is the best water to drink, but this couldn't be further from the truth.  You can get this type of water through distillation or a condenser, the type of mechanism often found in de-humidifiers.  If you have one of these you might have noticed that there is usually a warning label that sates that the water collected in the reservoir is not suitable for drinking and with good reason, it's DISCUSTING!

The truth is good drinking water is supposed to be slightly acidic because the saliva in your mouth is slightly alkaline, the "impurities" are sources of nurturance such as minerals and vitamins and many of the bacteria that breed naturally naturally in drinking water are pro-biotec and aid digestion.  Boiling water the allowing to cool is fine but hope for your sake your not drinking condensed "pure" water, it's not doing you any good whatsoever

The water is.... questionable. I wouldn't call it well water, but almost!

NO!!!!  Really!?  The Silent Hill rumours that I and everyone else semi-sensible been saying were bullshit this entire time were in fact.... bullshit?  Well consider me spiffled!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this fanbase nobody but themselves to blame.  I think it's about time they finally got their head out their asses and took some responsibility for their own gullible optimism.

They believed Abandoned was secretly a Silent Hill project even after Konami and even Kojima confirmed they have nothing to do with it.  I remember (and even getting some flack for) saying at the time there was nothing suggesting that this had anything to do with Silent Hill and fuck me, I was right.  The fanbase even had the nerves blame the the dev's because when they saw the viral marketing they voluntarily cherry picked it apart letting them think Abandoned was something it wasn't.  Fucking pathetic!

Then some time later Boober Team confirm they are partnership with Konami and they do a hop, skip and a jump right back on that train screaming "Silent Hill!  Silent Hill!".  Then of they course they are forced to make a statement saying that there is no Silent Hill project in production back in June.  Then months later these "leaks" show up and they let themselves get wound up, AGIAN, expecting some announcement at TGS which of course, never happened.

What is wrong with these people!!  The rumours of a Silent Hill game from Bloober were confirmed to be wrong months before any of the "leaks" and you still believed it.  To tell the truth, I actually commend this guy for exposing just how narrow eyed and gullible this fanbase truly is.  The fact he can post a rumour that had already been debunked months earlier and it can still such a huge amount of traction is mind blowing.  I sure as hell wouldn't be sorry for it, I'd be like:

WAKE UP!!!!!  Until Konami confirms otherwise there are no Silent Hill projects in production.  End of story!

Next time there is a Silent Hill rumour, ignore it.  So when it inevitably doesn't pan out you might come out of it not looking like a bunch of fools.
