Cobbler is way easier to make and it is delicious - I wouldn't necessarily say it tastes better than pie - it just depends on who's making it. Cake is heavenly, light and airy and smothered with whipped cream and fresh fruit, dense and dark and filled with chocolate, or somewhere in between, filled with spices and nuts. Pie is also heavenly, homebaked fruit pies, rich creamy chocolate or coconut pies, smooth mellow pumpkin pie....mmm.
